Zukafu arrives at his class Charao was waiting next to his desk and seeing Zukafu, he waved at him. Zukafu makes his way to his desk where he greets Charao and sits down.

"Greetings Charao." Said Zukafu

Charao responded and asked "Hey Zuka, did you see that ludicrous display last night?"

Zukafu responded, "I'm afraid I don't know what you are referring to."

"Ah, I see." Charao said as scratches his head, embarrassed for even asking that question, he says, "I'm guessing you're not a fan of sports."

"Nah thats more for my sister." Zukafu said. "You know you don't have to be nice to me all the time.

Ever since that incident a couple of days prior, Charao had attempted to get closer to the Storm Warrior as he wished to thank him for saving his younger sister but he was immensely struggling since there was very little about the young Kami that 99.8% of the school doesn't have any information. Despite this, Charao was determined to be Zukafu's friend.

Charao sat down on his desk which was behind Zukafu's and says "Man, I can't wait for tomorrow." As he massaged his head, showing stress in his eyes.

"Any special occassion?" Asked Zukafu.

"Yeah, me and mom are going to visit my pops whose just came back from overseas." Explained Charao. "Its kind of surprising really since he had just left a couple of days ago..."

 Suddenly, a broken blue pendant-like item that resembled a water droplet, drops from Charao's pockets but he notices this and managed to grab it. "Phew! Close call." Said Charao.

Zukafu, intrigued, asked "Whats that?"

Charao answered "Honestly don't know, found it outside the main center in the city beside a tower, want to see it?"

Zukafu nods his head and Charao hands him the item. Zukafu thoroughly examines it and then at the crack, noticing a minimal amount of blue goo inside. He asked Charao, "Can you recall the events during that time?"

"Sure..." Charao said but as he was about to explain, Charao was suddenly confused. As if he had forgotten what happened that day. He says to Zukafu, "Actually... I don't remember much from that day..."

"It all makes sense..." said Zukafu.

"What does?" Asked Charao.

Zukafu then asked, "What's the date today?"

Charao answered "its February 15th."

Zukafu then shakes his head and asks "Are you sure?"

Charao believed himself to be sure but the more he thought about it, the more he couldn't remember. He answers "I'm... NOT sure..." he appears defeated as he sits back on his chair.

Class later starts and while everyone was focused, Charao was distracted by what Zukafu said as he tries to recall the events that occurred when he found the item.

FLASHBACK

Charao sits down on the bench, that was next to the tower, as he is on a call with his father, regarding how he was going to be returning home soon after it being two weeks of him working overseas and as he hangs up, he notices a figure atop the tower.

The figure throws the same item into the sky and uses a special kind of revolver to shoot at it. As it gets shot, a blue surge explodes out from the item, going across all over the island. Then drops down droplets of blue goo that when coming in contact with the people, their expression changes. Like their minds have been erased.

The droplet touches Charao's face but then, it cuts.

END OF FLASHBACK

Charao wakes up to find the teacher calling out his name.

"CHARAO!" Shouted the teacher. "Since you enjoy daydreaming as well as skipping my classes, this must be an indication that you know this answer." The teacher lifts up their chalk and points it to Charao. "Please do us all the favour of answering this question."

Charao began sweating but regardless, he stood up and walked up to the teacher. He took the chalk and walked up to the board where he was given a complicated question.

His hand began trembling with the whole class staring at him and even some giggling. The teacher stares at him intensely.

Despite this, Charao takes a deep sigh and writes the answer. To everyone's shock except for Zukafu, Charao answered it correctly.

The teacher was left speechless by this but they said "Very good..." feeling that their pride has been destroyed. They then said "You may return to your seat."

Charao returned his seat, seeing Zukafu giving him the thumbs up, which brightens him inside. He sat down, keeping his neutral face but in his mind, he was gleefully celebrating.

After school, Charao and Zukafu exited their class room and left the school building where they found Yuno and Mary waiting for them.

Yuno waves to Zukafu, saying "Big bro!" Which took Mary and Charao by surprise.

"Why the hell did you say that?" Asked Mary.

"Is that a problem?" Said Yuno, having no issue with it.

"Yes!" Mary answered, "It sounds like you and him are-" Mary abruptly stops as she becomes embarrassed.

Yuno teases her saying "Makes us what?" With a big grin on her face.

Charao whispers to Zukafu, asking "Are you two close or something?"

Zukafu answered "Kind of..."

"What does that mean?" Said Charao, now sounding curious.

"Maybe another time..." said Zukafu as he walks up to the girls, leaving Charao puzzled and jealous.

Zukafu then asks Mary, "Mary, do you mind if we take Charao to a friend of mine?"

Mary asks, "What for?"

Zukafu answered "I need to confirm my suspicions regarding this." Zukafu shows Mary and Yuno the item that Charao gave him.

Mary then pushed Zukafu aside and asked "What the hell are you doing? You realise that my friends don't know who you actually are..."

Zukafu stayed silent for a second before he said "Well then its time for them to know the truth..."

Zukafu walked up Yuno and Charao and said, "You two don't really know much about me. Only the fact that I talk with Mary... But given the situation that I and her are in, I wish to invite you two to know who I am... What do you say?"

Mary was embarrassed to the point of wanting to die as she thought in her head that Yuno and Charao would laugh at Zukafu, believing him to be some cringy otaku that believed he was the main character. I mean he is the main character but cringy otaku, lets leave it at that.

Mary covered her face, expecting them to burst into laughter but was not expecting this as the two answered, "Sure." Mary removed her hands from her face and looked at her friends.

Yuno stated, "You've been a very mysterious person since the day we met and I'm also curious to know more about you."

Charao said "Same goes for me, I want to know more about you, in hopes of strenghtening a greater bond with you Zukafu so like Yuno, I wish to know more as well."

Zukafu sighed and said "Then its settled... Lets move."

Saying that, Yuno and Charao followed behind as Zukafu exited the school building, leaving Mary beyond speechless.

From afar, someone watched the four as they walked together. They then spoke to someone on the walkie talkie, saying "They're moving."

"Follow them... They must know something about Mnemosyne's Fog." Said the voice on the talkie.

"Understood." Said the person as they hung up and traversed across the area they were in.
