Prologue

Losing My Virginity At the End of the World!

“Scientists have reported that a new meteorite is about to hit the earth within one year!”

“Switch…” I press the next button on top of the radio, letting out a brief buzzing noise before switching to a different voice.

“Is it true that this meteor is on the same level as the one that wiped the dinosaurs?!”

“Are you saying that we’re going to go extinct?!”

“We are here to confirm that while the trajectory of this meteorite is heading straight towards us, the likely chance of it hitting our earth is still below 20%, so there’s nothing certain—”

I press the next button.

“Just a year ago, India got hit with a large meteorite! Most of humanity is already dead anyway, so is there even a point to upstanding morals?!”

I press the next button.

“While the future looks bleak, I implore all of you to calm down and trust us to come up with a solution! We are working very carefully with the military to prevent the end of the world—”

I press the red button on top of the radio, turning the sound into a brief wave of noise before it entirely shuts off.

“As if there’s a way to fight against it…” I mutter, laying my head down on top of the messy sofa.

Within this small room, a mountain of canned goods occupied one corner, and used clothes carpeted the floor. Two desks— a coffee table and a study desk in the far-right corner were piled with papers detailing tax-related information, home rent, and credit card purchase history.

However!

Most of my “friends” died a year ago due to the meteorite impacting near the epicenter of Tokyo, resulting in everyone in that city being vaporized. Thankfully, the impact wasn’t strong enough to decimate Fukuoka, the place where I’m currently residing.

Meaning that no one would even complain if they saw my living space!

What makes things easier is the fact that my parents also transferred to Tokyo for their new job dispositions, so I practically own this house to myse—

‘Yuiko! I got accepted as a fire alarm installer! Mama and I will be coming next week, so make sure you guide us around, okay?’

“…”

I scratch my hair, making a cloud of whites that looks like snowflakes fall onto the couch, forming a small patch of white on top of its surface.

“…Time to touch myself…” I unglue myself out of the couch, with each pull and body ache making it difficult to stand upright.

Eventually, I stood myself up from the couch, dragging my feet towards my room.

As I open the door, my eyes are blessed with multiple beautiful 2D men tapestries that are plastered all over my walls, each of their passionate gaze looking towards me. On the far corner stands a glass shelf, housing every single 2D men I find attractive from every anime and manga I’ve seen. To its right, there’s a desk that has a gaming laptop that I spent all my money on for no reason and an ungodly amount of tissue boxes that are stacked like mountains.

“Seems like the battery’s full…” I muttered as I unplugged the laptop’s charger. I then press the power button, a logo appears on the black screen.

Despite the world’s limited power, I do have a portable power bank that is the weight of a literal brick, allowing itself to house an insane amount of power, so I practically have a small portable generator on my hands. I bought this thinking that power would be a precious commodity when my “friends” planned out a camping trip, but it ended up being too heavy and unnecessary.

Yet a few years later, this thing would become my source of power.

Of course, I mainly preserve the thing to charge my laptop, so I can see myself using this thing for years to come.

Not that there’s much left to begin with…

“Oh, it’s opened…”

Displayed on the screen, there’s an incessant amount of games ranging from online shooter games, to RPGs, and an incredible amount of eroges…

To the point that half of the display is covered by them…

“Hehehe…”

I boot up one of the games, displaying a menu that’s filled with five hot men who are posing in alluring ways.

“Kirei my beloved…”

I hover my cursor over to the chapter section and select Kirei: a brown-haired young man in the swimming club who has a lot of angst due to his tragic past, pursuing the swimming club due to his inferiority complex against his big brother. In the story, I play as a girl who can give him comfort while pursuing his—

His…

“Heheheeheheeee!”

Ah, crap.

Control yourself!

Just imagining the scenes is enough to get me started…

The route is five hours long filled with tons of intense skinship action.

“Come to me, my Kirei!”

I hover over the start button and clicked on it.

Five hours later…

“Haah… haah…”

Multiple tissues are all over the floor.

The sun has set, leaving me sprawled on the dark floor. The only thing illuminating my surroundings is the colorful screen with a wall of text slowly crawling by, while upbeat music plays in the background.

“…”

The air feels thick.

My body is so sticky from the lack of air conditioner that it feels like I glued myself onto the floor, not having the energy to wake up.

My throat is hoarse from letting everything out since there’s no chance that a neighbor would call out to me due to most of them having evacuated…

“Haah… haah…”

This is the same life that Hanekawa Yuiko has led for the last five months.

One that feels good…

Yet despite that…

“…Damn it…”

I take my glasses off and cover my face with my disgusting-smelling hand, lightly digging my nails into the pores of my face.

“Haaahhh…” My hand slides away from my face, making my vision blurry.

I’ve been alive for twenty-three years…

And… I’m about to lose my life without achieving anything…

Hell, I haven’t even lost my virginity…

“…I wanna have sex…” I said, staring at the dark rooftop of my room.

I don’t even care who I do it with…

If I can’t achieve anything within a year, then I at least want to lose my virginity…

“…Maybe not with a smelly fat man…” I muttered.

That’s the last line I wouldn’t cross.
