"You insufferable nuisance!" Screeched the entity. It again attempted to attack Yu Kami again.

Yu again dodged her attacks and went in for the attack and therefore, the entity had enough and choose to retreat as it hastily grabbed the Spider Enigma and retreated, closing the teared hole that it emerged from.

Yu stopped after the entities departure and he immediately got to work in finding any survivors of the Enigma attack.

MEANWHILE, Naoya and Luna, along with Mary and the dead Zukafu, arrived at the same hospital that both Tatsuya and Nagata were previously at a couple of months prior. The two hastily entered within, immediately met with nurses who brought a gurney for Mary.

Naoya carefully placed Mary on the gurney who was already growing weak from blood loss.

Mary didn't have time to react to anything and all she could do as she was being taken away by the nurses was reach her hand out for Zukafu before blacking out.

HOURS LATER

Mary woke up in a room that appeared similarly to an interrogation room and a hospital. She looked at her stomach which had blood coming from an IV tube and into her stomach. She struggled as she got up.

She heard a commotion that was coming from outside and was spooked as she heard the double doors being bursted open. She then heard a familiar voice.

"Mary!" Said Tatsuya as he ran to her. He held her hand and asked "Oh my god Mary, I'm glad you're okay!" He then proceeded to hug but this caused her to groan in pain to which Tatsuya said "Sorry, sorry, sorry!"

"What the hell is this place?" Asked Mary, knowing well that she wasn't on Earth.

As Tatsuya was about to make something up, a voice answers her question, "You are in good care Miss Amano." Mary and Tatsuya looked in the direction of the voice and saw an middle aged man who entered the room and approached them.

"Chief Jin I-" said Tatsuya but was then cut off by the middle aged man.

"I have said to you numerous times old friends, its just Jin now." Said the middle aged man who called himself Jin. He then turned to Mary and said "And you must be Mary Amano, a pleasure to meet you."

Mary, who immediately recognised Jin, said "Yeah, I remember you. You were the one that talked to me and my brother during the day that our-" she then looked at Tatsuya and remembered how it deeply affected him, despite being just 10 months old. She continued saying, "THAT DAY! I remember you from that day."

Jin laughed saying, "I'm surprised you remember me, even as a young baby."

"I remembered you still being the police chief, even after taking Tatsuya in as a rookie." Said Mary.

"Yes well, your brother proved himself that day when he became the new police chief." Said Jin. "How are you feeling?" Referring to the wound to the stomach.

Mary answered, "Its honestly getting better... I'm kind of amazed really."

"Thats the beauty of this hospital!" Commented Jin. "When you have the time, me and Mr. Kami would like to have a word with you."

Tatsuya looked at him with disapproving expression but Jin rubbed it off and patted Mary on the shoulder as he stood up and along with Tatsuya, leave her to rest. All the while the two were whispering with each other.

Mary lied down as she tried resting but it proved difficult as she couldn't get the image of seeing Zukafu getting beaten up and dying in front of her which caused her to abruptly rise up.

"Struggling to sleep?" Then out of nowhere, nurse appeared beside Mary as they cut an apple. Mary was about to shriek but the nurse stopped her saying, "Not so fast sweetie! Do anymore to your body and you risk it, got that?" Mary nodded her head to confirm. The nurse smiled and said "Great!"

Mary then asked, "Who are you? And what is this place?"

The nurse answered snarkily "I'm a nurse! And this is a hospital!"

Mary then stated, "But this isn't any hospital that I know of."

"Well of course you don't silly!" Said nurse, "You're in a hospital that is from overseas!"

Mary couldn't take the nurse serious with all the crap that she was saying and seeing this, the nurse groaned said, "Alright fine! You want to know where you are? You're in a hospital for recovering Enigma victims!"

"Recovering Enigma victims?" Said Mary, puzzled.

"YES!" said the nurse, sounding annoyed, "You are in a hospital for those who have been saved from Enigmas that use HUMANS to evolve themselves! What part do you not get?"

Mary bluntly answered, "None!"

The nurse groaned and told Mary, "Please be quiet and just rest, you'll need all of it if you want to recover quicker."

Mary sighed and did what the nurse told her to do. She then asked, "Where's Zukafu?"

The nurse kept quiet before answering, "They have your friend at one of the rooms... From what I heard on how it happened, that coward Enigma got whats coming to them after that."

Mary then asked, "Can I ask you something?"

"What?" Said the nurse.

"What do you know about Zukafu?" Asked Mary.

"Simple, he's a loner. Weirdly cute... Tends to lie about some things and even fabricate some of them... Then theres that incident a year after Raimei's capture by those slithering parasites-"

Curious Mary asked, "What of that incident?"

The nurse answered "I'm afraid I can't go into detail about that, you'd might want to ask someone who knows it better than me."

"I see..." said Mary.

"Yeah." Said the nurse before she then finished off with one final fact about Zukafu, "And final thing about Takehaya was that he is rumoured to be the son of a malevolent entity."

Mary then commented, "But isn't Zukafu along with Naoya and Luna motherless?"

The nurse answered, "Naoya and Luna ARE but Takehaya is said to be different, especially since he is mainly feared by almost every other warrior."

Mary was surprised to what she was learning even more about Zukafu.
