Kiyoshi Miike, part III.

the wind blows violently.

Kiyoshi Miike is staring at a window. there is brutal chaos out there. behind him stands the teenager talking to her little brother. Kiyoshi takes a chocolate from his pockets. he offers a chocolate to each of them. Kiyoshi has the responsibility of protecting the civilians.

"I believe we haven't presented each other. my name is Kiyoshi." 

"My name is Diana, and this is my little brother Manolo. we lost our parents. we don't have any more family more than each other." said the girl.

"Don't worry. as long as you stay in here. my team and I will protect you. we are here to protect civilians. you have my word." said Kiyoshi with a warm smile.

Hinata Uzumaki comes out of nowhere. Kosaki Tachibana is at her side. they bring great news. it seems like they made contact with headquarters. a helicopter is on the way. it may take thirty minutes minimum to arrive. Kiyoshi smiles. he hugs Kosaki. they love is like an active volcano burning with passion.  it feels like nothing can oppose the power of such pure love.

"I am glad. we will make it my love." said Kiyoshi smiling.

"Yes, let's return upstairs. let's wait for salvation." said Kosaki with a tender smile.

all of them walk together carefully. they walk around each floor carefully. they aren't fully sure of the horrors that can be hidden in those floors. each step makes an echo that can feel like a mockery of their fears. they keep moving forward as they sigh feeling horror.

Manolo and Diana are walking in the front. behind them comes Kosaki and Hinata. behind them at the tail is Kiyoshi covering the rear. every second that passes feels suffocating. then a sound brings in an alarm. they all stop moving. then out of nowhere from the shadows of darkness comes a person with his hands up.

the person in question is a man in his mid-thirties. he is blonde. he has short hair. he is wearing glasses with a bronze frame. he has a semi-shaved face. long thick dark sideburns. a cigarette between his lips. nails painted in a light pink. thick brown eyebrows. he has a brown suit with chocolate brown pants. he has a blue tie. a Hawaiian red shirt. some blood stains on his shirt and face. the man presents himself as Franco Castillo. 

he joins the group as they keep moving forward. there are some whispers between them. Kiyoshi is completely silent. his breathing is almost silent. his steps are phantom like. there is so little of his presence. his mind is somewhere else. he knows deep down that there is something wrong. not just in here. but there is something out there wrong. he feels like he is missing something important. he keeps thinking in despair. 

"Are you find love?" asks Kosaki.

Kiyoshi nods quietly. he is silent. Kosaki wants to ask more questions. but she understands that he needs his space and time. she keeps moving feeling bad for her lover, her man. Kosaki silently grabs her lover's hand. she caresses his hand softly. she blushes as she feels his warmth in the simple touch of their hands.

"No matter what. I will always love you." said Kosaki in a monotone tone hiding her emotions that are strong and vibrant like a newborn sun. 

"I know. I love you too honey. I feel ashamed to not be good enough. I regret not doing good enough to protect your smile." said Kiyoshi in a dry tone of voice.

the couple for seconds forgets about the rest of the world. they keep moving until they get all the way to the rooftop. the other members of unit 7 is there eating and talking. they are happy to see Kiyoshi alive and kicking with civilians. 

as long as humans don't give up. as long as they fight with the strength of their faith in each other and themselves. as long as they stand still and firm. they won't give up. there will always be hope for humanity. humans either the salvation or damnation of humanity. in human hands lands the future of the world. the war just starter. the war will be long and ferocious. but as long as they keep moving without giving up. standing up after falling. they may win.

"Sorry boys. I haven't been there these past few hours. but I will do better. we can't let ourselves be defeated. we still have the spirit to fight." said Kiyoshi.

in the rooftop are more civilians that the unit has saved on time. things seem positive. there is some light in the darkness. 

Professor Yugo Miyamoto is in a corner by himself. his friend died out of stupidity. but it hurts to lose a friend. he knows that they can't recover the body which is even more tragic. Professor Yugo Miyamoto is a strong muscular older man. 

the unit waits patiently. when they started to worry about the time the helicopter was taking to arrive at the location. a sound was enough to return the hope to them. in the distance there were not one, but two helicopters. coming to rescue them. 

it was too soon to celebrate. no one knew that the Sins are downstairs causing major damages to the infrastructure of the building. the waiting time becomes more exhausting. and finally, the silhouette of the helicopter becomes visible. as expected, most of the civilians are capable of fitting properly inside the first helicopter. it comes and leaves without any issues.

then comes the second helicopter. most of the members of unit 7 get inside of the helicopter. the rest of them were moving fast. then there comes the earthquake. it trembles violently and savagely until the building starts to collapse. 

Kiyoshi Miike, Professor Yugo Miyamoto, Hinata Uzumaki, Daichi Sakamoto, and Doctor Ryuu Kamada are the names of those who fell with the collapse of the building. sadly, for them. that was the last helicopter send to rescue them. there is no one else coming.

Kiyoshi was unconscious for a long while. he opens his eyes. there is a piece of metal piercing him from the side. Doctor Kamada is trying to stop the bleeding with limited resources. he looks at his side lies Hinata unconscious. she seems to be sleeping calmly. Daichi and Professor Miyamoto aren't too far from him. they were left behind. to be forgotten.

there is some sort of uncertainty about their fate. none of them is hopeful. the sounds produce by the sins makes their situation even more alarming. they could get killed anywhere. they are no longer safe. the night had embraced its cruelty. life the everlasting jester was throwing a final dark joke at them. it feels too depressing to be in that situation.

Kiyoshi uses the little strength he has left to control the situation. he tries to command the others and gives them a task to find somewhere safe to hide. Doctor Kamada helps Kiyoshi to stand up slowly. the pain is too much. Kiyoshi feels weak and insignificant. but he isn't done. he is going to keep fighting till the end. his beloved is waiting for his return. 

Kiyoshi stands with firmer steps. he yields to attract the attention of his teammates. he lets them know about the danger of the circumstances. he asks Hinata to help him. they need to make critical choices. a wrong action is lethal. a bad choice id deadly. they need to put their full trust in each other. that is the only way to make it out without killing each other.

Kiyoshi moves with the help of Hinata. the dust makes it hard for the monsters to see them. they follow the lights of another building. each step is calculated. each movement comes as an invitation to become wise. and like that the five of them made it to a safe place, for now.

it appears to be some sort of mart. with the available tools Doctor Kamada proceeds to taking care of Kiyoshi as the rest of the team looks around. there may be some useful things. Kiyoshi lose too much blood. he was looking pale. 

Hinata left for two long hours. everyone else assume that she had decided to leave by herself. Kiyoshi trusted her. so, he orders them to work hard. eventually Hinata returns with some smaller bruises and some heavy news.
