Kiyoshi Miike, part IV.

the city was once known as a metal jungle. now it is a nest of sin and gore.

Kiyoshi is sharpening a sword. he stands with some bandages and after some drugs to keep him active for the moment. Doctor Kamada smokes from a ceremonial pipe. he looks at peace with the environment. he doesn't mind the corpses and monsters.

Professor Miyamoto is scouting the area alongside Captain Uzumaki. for the time being it is just Kiyoshi, Doctor Kamada, and Daichi standing inside an abandoned building. they kept the lights off for the moment. there is a candle as the single form of light. 

Kiyoshi is grateful that his girlfriend was taken to safety on time. there are horrors she doesn't need to be exposed to. Kiyoshi stands in the middle of the room. he walks towards a worn-out wooden table. he takes a bottle of tequila from it. he drinks it as if it was water. he throws the bottle on the floor. he walks towards the door. he opens the door.

"Are you sure about that?" asks Doctor Kumada.

"There are things in life that are unavoidable. then there are things in life that must be done. we can't stay in here and waiting for a miracle to occur. if it's our destiny to walk in a path of fire in order to make it back to base. then let's be done with it as fast as possible. I can't let my girl wait for me. that isn't gentlemanly. now take your things. they're about to return. we should move with the wind on the fog to eliminate the enemy." said Kiyoshi.

the three men leave the house. they move slowly and carefully. every step taken should be calculated properly. then they face Professor Miyamoto and Hinata. they don't need to say any word to communicate. by looking at each other's eyes. and by some body language they are able to tell more than enough.

the five of them continue with their little expedition at the heart of the city. not everything was consumed by the Sins right away. the creatures only came from holes that appeared in areas with a great amount of population. only the nine gates appeared in random places. after a month or two the insignificant pits will close down. it will cost a great amount of lives, but it will eventually end. on the order hand the nine gates will be enough to consume the world. slowly, but surely. it will all end.

Kiyoshi holds his sword as if it was an extension of his arm. he slays the beast in a single precise movement. he takes pride on his battle abilities. he then moves to the next sin. by the way the beasts he is facing right now are level six or seven. lesser sins.

Hinata and Daichi are no stranger to battle. they don't allow themselves to become useless or get in Kiyoshi's way. they keep a proper pace. Professor Miyamoto holds a rusty machete he found in the house. in fast lightning like strikes he turns Sins level five into pudding. he is a merciless beast from an older generation that fought on wars. then at the center of the team lies Doctor Ryuu Kamada smoking and talking to himself.

"Wait boys. there is a sound coming at our nine on the clock." said Hinata.

the five of them move slightly faster without losing their composure. there are noises coming from the creatures as the fog becomes less dense. the night is a bitch for sure. it knows how to play mind games just to freak you out.

after some minutes of moving without direction. they arrive a minute or two too late. there are some warm corpses in the pavement. it seems like it was a couple, or whatever was left of them and their small child. the Sins didn't care for the child's youth.

Hinata feels sick. she throws up. she can't believe she failed them. she feels guilt as she blames herself for their deaths. Professor Miyamoto covers her eyes. he whispers some words to calm her down. he lets her know that it was impossible to save them. Hinata punches a brick wall until her left fist bleeds. she bites her lips to stop herself from crying.

"Pathetic. weak. useless. a single mistake and you break like a common pawn. that is precisely why I kept telling our commander that no woman could be a unit leader. what a shame to be led by your fragile ego." said Doctor Kamada looking down on her.

the others felt angry by the Doctor's comments. they decided to not bother. there are bigger things ahead of them. better things to do than to listen to some asshole. 

"I know many of our comrades felt disdain when I was appointed as Captain of Unit seven instead of our master's son. but I had been trying so hard." said a sad voice.

they kept moving up. they didn't talk to each other. some among them felt worried that any conversation could led to a confrontation. after walking for what can be describe as an eternity and blind. they felt the need to take a small break. 

Hinata didn't felt like much of a captain with Doctor Kamada criticizing every decision that she made or didn't make. then there was Kiyoshi stealing the spotlight as he was the first to confront and eliminate the sins. then Professor Miyamoto was quite strong that he could stop any Sin that was too close to them with the most minimal action.

they look at some lights coming from a high school. somehow, they felt the need to go there and explore that area. is like a sixth sense telling them that there are survivors using that same terrain as their fortress. they were tired. so, they moved slower.

then out of nowhere a Sin level three appears in front of them. the first half of the torso has the shape of a feline. the second half has the shape of a snake. with a long tail that had nails and spines. the end of the tail had the form of a fist. it had six legs that had the shape of muscular fists. then its face, the upper half was like that of a lion. from the neck to the lower jaw had a human like appearance. 

Doctor takes a radar out to scan the Sin; sin level 3. sin of Physical Abuse. 

"It isn't so bad. we can take it out." said Doctor Kamada nervously.

from behind him come forward another three Sins of Physical Abuse. the sins surround the team easily in seconds. the tails of the sins divide in six grotesque looking arms. each arm-tail ended in a muscular disgusting looking hand with green veins. there is some slimy substance coming out of the veins. the hands move like violently.

Doctor Ryuu Kamada takes some daggers off his belt. he throws the daggers at the Sins of Physical Abuse. the Sins turn their heads at Doctor Kamada. they ignore the rest. they start to attack furiously. Doctor Kamada avoids most of the attacks. but they start to be faster and stronger after every strike. Doctor Kamada loses his footing. he falls on his knees. 

"Oh, fuck me."  said Kamada as he was too out of breath to stand up.

one Sin stands closer to him. its six arm-tail hands grab Doctor Kamada from arms, legs, and the sides of the torso. Doctor Kamada tries to resist as he shapes abruptly. he screams feeling rage and disdain. then his left arm is tear apart. Doctor Kamada yields. his right leg is also tear apart instantly. Doctor Kamada shakes and screams. his right arm is tear apart. Doctor Kamada curses with the strength he has left. then his left leg is tear apart. Doctor Kamada finally gives up. he cries and begs for his life.

"Please. please. no more. I, no more. I want to live. my mom is waiting for me. she lost dad when I was a kid. she has dementia. she needs to me to care for her. mom I am sorry. I had failed you once more. mom I am a bad son." said Kamada crying.

the Sin smirks and laughs mocking him. then it grabs him above the ground. the man is bleeding out. the Sin breaks him in half. his organs fall on the ground. in his last breath Ryuu Kamada died hopelessly. the Sin throws the rest of the corpse away.

everyone else is in shock. they start to run as fast as possible. the Sins follow moving at a faster speed and jumping in front of them. the Sins won't let them escape. they make of them a mockery as they play with their lives. it was easy and simple to play with weaker creatures that are inferior on the eyes of the Sins.

Daichi gets scared. he tries to run away by himself. two sins follow him. one pushes him against a car. the other one pushes him against a wall. they keep pushing him around like cats playing around with a mouse. Daichi bleeds. he gets cuts. he gets internal damage. he breaks more than some bones. his skin tears against sharp objects in the ground.

"Please help me. I didn't want to be here. I am too weak." said Daichi crying.

after a while they stop playing. Daichi is about to lose consciousness. he is too beaten up. he drags himself on the ground. his left leg is broken. his left arm is twisted in ways that aren't anatomically correct. he bleeds from his face. he cries and begs for salvation.

"Big brother. please save me. big brother where you are? I feel sick." said Daichi as he keeps dragging his broken body.

one of the Sins steps on top of Daichi's head. the upper half of his head was smashed beyond recognition. the rest of the body shakes abruptly for some seconds. then it stops moving. Daichi Sakamoto's corpse was pushed away by the Sins.

just when things seem hopeless. Professor Miyamoto drives a taxi at the Sins. he runs over two of them. he gets out of the taxi. he throws a grenade at the taxi. it blows up burning one of the sins until turning into ashes. the other wounded Sin drags itself. Professor Miyamoto holds tightly the machete before decapitating the sin in a clean cut. one Sin runs away scare. the last Sin gets killed by the Professor.

"Let's go. I need a cup of coffee." said Professor Miyamoto smirking.

Professor Miyamoto seems fine. but he was affected by their deaths.
