Chapter 695: Ronzic’s Frustration

Narrator: With Sasha’s defeat of The Titan, let’s look at where everyone currently stands in the rebellion.

P = Pyramid (Zeth, Lavana, Herbigon, Dusk, and Ronzic)

S = Sasha’s current location outside (also Madeena)

B = Ronzic’s base

L = On the ground in outdoor area near the base are Laura and Biff fighting Emily, Joe, Kurt, and Pearl)

Outside the planet’s atmosphere = The Stargazer and its crew (also Kasuma)

Narrator: Inside the pyramid.

Still in Raging Star Mode, Zeth continues to bash Ronzic repeatedly with his fists.

Ronzic: (Thinking urgently) “His speed outclasses mine!?”

Zeth uppercuts Ronzic, jumps upward, and then slams his foot straight down into the top of Ronzic’s head. The hit is powerful and not only blows Ronzic down to the floor, but it also partially breaks through the floor, coming close to revealing the lava flowing underneath it.

Lavana: “Damn! Zeth is on a roll! We might not need to do anything else!”

Herbie: (Groaning) “I would still like to show off my skills….”

Dusk: (Sarcastically) “Yeah, you’ve been doing such a great job against him after he stopped hiding.”

A blood vessel bulges out on the side of Herbie’s head as he looks at Dusk.

Herbie: (Irritated) “You’re one to talk, mister dim guy. I’ve watched you get your ass beat, and you got captured as well!”

Dusk smirks as he looks at Herbie.

Dusk: “I enjoy how much my words always get to you.”

Herbie grits his teeth as he yells back.

Herbie: “You’re gonna get it later! I swear!”

Lavana: “Both of you shut up right now! Pay attention to the battle in case we are needed!”

Dusk and Herbie: (Speaking disappointedly) “Fine…”

They turn their attention back to the battle and watch as Zeth uses his Chains of Heaven to wrap around Ronzic’s left arm and then yank Ronzic toward him. Once Ronzic is in point-blank range, Zeth uses his right fist to punch him in the gut, causing him to cough up blood. Zeth follows up by kicking Ronzic upward at an angle. Ronzic’s body blows through the second-floor platform and lands toward the wall on that platform. Zeth forms a Raging Star Blast in his hand and then releases it diagonally upward at the platform. It explodes, destroying the platform and causing Ronzic to fall back to the first floor with more damage.

Zeth begins his rush toward Ronzic.

Ronzic: “Wait…”

Zeth stops his rush before reaching Ronzic.

Zeth: “If this is just a stalling tactic, I’m going to resume the beating.”

Ronzic stands up with many wounds on his body. He breathes heavily.

Ronzic: *huff huff* “Tell me your name, light being…”

Zeth: “What? That’s new. You didn’t call me light trash this time.”

Ronzic: *huff huff* “I know Miss Sasha has told me your name before, but I didn’t care to remember it at the time. But you are by far the strongest light being I have ever faced, and so I want to know who my opponent is. What is your name? Where are you from? For some reason that I don’t understand, I’ve taken an interest in you.”

Zeth ends his Raging Star Mode so that the raging aura doesn’t destroy the floor he stands on.

Zeth: “Kinda late for introductions, don’t you think? Fine. My name is Zeth, and I’m from planet Earth.”

Ronzic: “Yes, very good. I will remember that. Perhaps one day, after we’ve left this planet and found a new one, we will go to Earth and exterminate all of its divine beings for the heresy they have committed.”

Zeth opens his eyes wide, alerted to what Ronzic means.

Ronzic taps his left ear with his left hand, activating a communication device within it.

Ronzic: “Laura. Biff. Can either of you hear me?”

Zeth grits his teeth and reactivates Raging Star Mode.

Zeth: “You won’t be calling for help!”

Ronzic jumps out of the way in time to avoid Zeth’s punch.

Laura: (Through communication device) “Yes, loud and clear. We’re busy fighting some stronger-than-expected escaped slaves.”

Biff: (Through communication device) “Yeah, they’re getting on my nerves.”

Zeth releases a Raging Star Blast but Ronzic jumps up to a second-floor platform to avoid it before it hits him.

Ronzic: “Ignore them. I need you to come to the pyramid. It’s time to merge.”

Laura and Biff: (Through communication device) “Right.”

Ronzic taps his ear again to end the communication. As he does that, Zeth leaps to the second-floor platform and punches Ronzic hard in the face to knock him back against the wall.

Ronzic charges his magic and forms a green magic energy oval in his hand. He quickly releases it to make Zeth jump out of the way to avoid it. Zeth’s jump causes him to land back on the first floor.

Ronzic pushes himself off the wall and walks to the edge of the platform.

Ronzic: “You’ve done something that no singular light trash has done to me since my rise to power… You’ve made me frustrated. Once Laura and Biff are here. You will pay dearly.”

Narrator: Zeth's overwhelming power leaves Ronzic frustrated! What does he mean by “it is time to merge”?
