Chapter 11:

The Fastest Exile in Isekai History

Making of a Goddess

Rin sat on a wooden bench in the middle of the village square, finally wearing clothes.

They were basic—a simple tunic and trousers—but after spending literal ages naked in hellish landscapes, she wasn’t about to complain.

Villagers whispered and stared at her from a distance.

Probably because she had walked in naked like a lunatic, smiled at the guards like she could crush them with her pinky, and was way too calm for someone who had supposedly just woken up in the woods.

The guard from earlier returned with an old man, dressed in fancier robes. The village chief.

He studied Rin carefully.

“…The guards tell me you appeared from the forest with nothing but your bare hands. Is that true?”

Rin nodded.

"Yup. Just me, the trees, and my overwhelming survival skills."

The chief's eyes narrowed.

"And where did you come from before that?"

Rin opened her mouth—

Then paused.

Because what the hell was she supposed to say?

Oh, I came from a lava-filled wasteland, then swam through an ocean world, then froze my ass off in the Ice Age, all before getting launched through time by a magic circle?

Yeah. That’d go great.

She needed a normal answer. A believable answer.

“I… was traveling,” she said vaguely.

The chief's expression darkened.

"From where?"

“…A very, very faraway place.”

More whispers rippled through the villagers.

The chief sighed.

“Well, regardless, we don’t turn away lost travelers. You may stay here under the village’s protection.”

Rin grinned.

"Awesome! So, about food—"

Then, in the distance, someone screamed.

"MONSTER ATTACK!"

Rin perked up.

“Monster?”

A massive, scaled beast—something between a wolf and a lizard, but the size of a horse—came crashing through the village gates.

Villagers scattered. Guards drew their weapons.

Rin tilted her head.

That’s what they call a monster?

After fighting literal prehistoric demons, this thing looked like an angry puppy.

The chief turned to her.

“If you truly mean no harm, then do not interfere! This is a matter for the village warriors!”

Rin nodded.

“Got it. I will absolutely, 100% not interfere.”

She then immediately walked toward the monster.

“W-WAIT!” the chief yelled.

Too late.

The monster snarled, lunging at a nearby guard—

And Rin punched it.

BOOM.

The monster exploded into chunks.

Not just defeated—it was gone.

Silence.

Horrified villagers stared at the blood crater where the monster used to be.

Rin, still grinning, wiped her hands.

"Nice! That was way easier than usual."

She turned back to the villagers.

They were all staring at her.

Wide-eyed. Pale. Absolutely terrified.

The chief took a shaky step back.

“…What are you?”

Rin blinked.

"Oh! Uh. Just a traveler?"

“THAT WASN’T HUMAN!” someone screamed.

“She punched a beast into nothing!”

“She’s a demon!”

Rin frowned.

“Okay, let’s not throw around words like ‘demon’—”

The guards raised their weapons.

The chief’s voice was grim.

“…You are a danger to this village.”

Rin groaned.

"Oh, come on. I saved you guys!"

"You annihilated a monster with your bare hands!"

"Would you rather it ate you?"

More whispers. More panic.

And then—

The chief pointed at her.

“EXILE HER. IMMEDIATELY.”

Rin gaped.

"Wait. WHAT?!"

The guards surrounded her.

"LEAVE THIS PLACE, MONSTER!"

Rin threw up her hands.

"Okay, wow. I just got here! I didn’t even do anything evil!"

"You just punched something into DUST!"

"...That’s just how I fight!"

More whispers. More terrified stares.

Rin groaned.

"Fine, whatever. I don’t need this place anyway."

She turned and walked straight out of the village gates.

But not before muttering:

"This is why I don’t help people."
