If You Really Love Me, Then You Should Love Yourself First!

“So, how do we call Shiro?” Ask Rin-san to me, which, I also don’t know the answer.

“Maybe, Onii-chan can go to the shrine again?”

When I say that, there were a familiar voice in the living room.

“Don’t need.”

Shiro materialize herself in front of us, and stand in front of us.

“One’s already here and hearing all of your question.”

Wait,…. What? Since when?

“So, spill it.” Say Rin-san to Shiro.

“Short question; It’s not by me.”

“How about the long one?” Rin-san ask again to her.

Shiro answer it with, “We wait Souta back first, then I answer.”

“O…OK.”

I just sit and not saying anything. In fact, I’m not thinking anything. I just focusing myself to Onii-chan, half running to the apartment.

I almost in my apartment. I know Shiro will answer all of our answer.

Why, Kai is remembering his first love to Touka, not Rina!?

I opened the door, remove my shoes before entering, and of course, I see 3 people relaxing while watching TV.

“Ah, welcome back Onii-chan.”

“Welcome back, Sou-chan.”

“Yo, One came.”

I look at them, “I see, you’ve make this place comfy to you. Now, tell me. What the heck was that!?” and say that to Shiro.

“Ok, now explanation time.”

She materialize a white board and some of the picture.

“So, there’s a wish from two people, named Souta and Rina. I fulfill their wishes, which, make me change some of the world settings.”

She place a picture to the whiteboard like it some of the heist plan from the game I like to play.

“But, even if I setting it manually, some of the settings, remained automatically change due to stability of the world itself. In short, there’s nothing I can do, however……”

She pointing her finger at me.

“I someone who made the settings and the wish maker work each other, they can change some of the automatic settings set to this world.”

I raise my hand as Touka.

“Yes, Touka-chan.” Said Shiro while pointing at her.

“Um, I want to ask, why did you explaining it like it’s video game and, if that were true, could it be easier to ‘edit the code’ itself?”

Shiro crossed her hand, and say, “That’s a good idea, but I don’t know how to code. Are you, willing to do it?”

Wait, how do you setting it at the first place then?

“So, any other question?”

I raise my hand, “How about I see how the code is and let’s think about it first?”

“Alright.”

Shiro flick her finger, and that whiteboard changed into a computer.

“Please, go ahead.” Shiro let me use that PC

I sat in front of it, and open the code editor.

After I opened it, there was a bunch of code that surely enough, is contained with “World Settings.”

Hold on, why this world setting itself looks like a regular game code program?

It scares me a little, but for some reason, Rina hug me while seeing the PC monitor.

“Oh, it looks like the usual code you used to work, Sou-chan.”

“Yeah, but that what’s make me scared.”

“Why?”

“Because if he understands how the code that script, that means he actually, undirectly, becoming a god in this world. Because he can do basically anything about this world, to this nature of this world itself.” Shiro cuts me, but she explained it to her with a detail.

I just sat there and search for the line of code I need to change.

“I found it.”

Why the object is underlined? As I know, the code editor can’t be underlined.

I move the cursor to the underlined subject, well….. Kai’s name, to be exact. When the cursor is on the underlined code, the cursor changed into the hand cursor. Meaning the underlined code is link-like code.

I clicked it, and I presented by UI-friendly, almost like it’s own program setting to the code itself.

So that’s how.

“Wait, Onii-chan!”

I looked back into Touka

“Um, before you try anything to Kai-san. Can you do it to me?”

“Eh!?” Rina was shocked.

“OK.” I say yes to Touka, because if I want to change my best friend perspective, at least I want to try it on myself. Well, it’s Touka in this fact.

I close the UI for Kai and look for Touka’s code line. Once I found it, I opened the link and see what Touka look like in this world.

Wow, this is a proper one.

She had everything, like she was my twin to begin with. Basic information, appearance, habits, etc.

I want to try the unharmful one. Even though she is my copy, but she is still my twin little sister. I found her manner setting, for the test I change it from “Happy Passive” into “Flat” and save the progress.

“Ok, Touka. Say anything.”

“Onii-chan, I know what you did. Change it back!” As I thought, Touka is indeed mad at me. But her face and her expressions, changed into a flat. Yes, her expressions turned to a flatness.

“Um,…. What did you change, Sou-chan?”

“Hold on, Rin-san. Did you don’t realize what Onii-chan change to me?”

“No, I don’t. What did you changed?”

OK, this is getting scary. I change you back Touka. Sorry.

I change the line back into her usual tone and her expression as well.

“There. Try to say something again.”

“Aahh. Aahh. Ah, finally. Thank you, Onii-chan.”

Touka is back. Now it’s time for Kai.

I looked back into Kai lines, and open the UI again.

I see everything about him. His habits, like the one that I know of and……..I saw something that I don’t want to see.

I focused on changing his first love. I found it.

“Ok, now I need to change his first love name and the person as well, aaaannnddd. I’m done. Now he is remembering his first love like it used to be.”
