Chapter 704: The Stage 5 Blood Form Mutant’s Secret

Narrator: Ronzic reaches Stage 5 and his new massive size has caused the pyramid to collapse!

One by one, each hero emerges from a pile of rubble that used to make up the pyramid. They see the massive dragon walking toward some large rock formations in the background.

Kurt grits his teeth with worry.

Kurt: “To think we would ever see another Stage 5 Blood Form after back then…”

Zeth watches the massive dragon with amazement.

Zeth: “Is this what I was like in Stage 5?”

Kurt: It was similar, but not the same. You were like a mix of different monstrous parts. Ronzic appears to be just a massive dragon.

Sasha becomes teary-eyed for a moment.

Sasha: “That day… when I died and Zeth became a Stage 5 as a result…” (She looks at Zeth and then continues) “Thinking of the emotional pain that put you through brings me to tears whenever I think about it.”

Zeth: “It’s okay, Sasha. We both received a miracle after that.”

Dusk: “I wasn’t there to see it, so how exactly do you defeat a Stage 5 Blood Form?”

Kurt: Well, for Zeth’s case, the legendary deity known as the Deity of the Divide knew of a near-impossible solution that actually worked but we do not have the skill to pull it off. Extremely precise fine cuts to let out all of the invasive magic in his body.

Lavana: “So, we have to find another way?”

Zeth: “That will be easier said than done. I hate to say it, but at Stage 5, he is stronger than Sasha and I, even with Soul Power.”

Pearl: “So, that’s it? We can’t beat him?”

Zeth: “I didn’t say that we can’t beat him. It’s just that we can’t do it by one of us overpowering him.”

Emily: “Beating a Stage 5 is a hard enough task but we’re not exactly going into this battle well rested. All of us have sustained some serious injuries. Joe can’t even use one of his arms at the moment.”

Joe: (Wincing in pain as he speaks) “Don’t worry about me. My Storm Lord powers don’t require my arms…”

Dusk looks at Herbie.

Dusk: “Hey! Seeds for brains! What happened? I thought you had one more trick up your sleeve?”

Herbie: (Replying in irritation) “Give it time…”

Dusk squints his eyes.

Dusk: (Squinting his eyes) “You don’t actually have anything, do you?”

Madeena: “I can’t use it again yet, but now that the battle is outside, I can use my titan power again when it is ready.:

Joe: “And being outside means I can unleash my full Storm Lord powers.”

Sasha: “Good. Charge up whatever you've got and unleash it while that monster is focusing on something else.”

Everyone fully leaves the pyramid’s rubble and stands on solid ground. Joe begins to charge up his magic significantly. Even in pain, he begins to grin with anticipation.

Joe: “It’s not very often I get to use this stuff! I’m excited!”

Major storm clouds begin to form in the distance above the mutant dragon. The mutant looks up as rain begins to fall from the clouds. Then, hail begins to fall too. The winds start to pick up as the storm clouds start rotating.

Joe grins with even more excitement and anticipation.

Joe: “I bet you’ve never seen one of these before, you bastard! Now, unleash… the L5 Tornado!!!!!”

A massive wedge tornado descends from the clouds and fully engulfs the mutant dragon. The tornado’s winds are extremely strong. The mutant dragon begins to shake as it tries to hold its position. It digs its claws into the ground to keep itself from being blown away.

Emily: “Woah!! It’s withstanding even the winds of the most powerful tornado!!”

Zeth: “Not a problem! We just need to assist!”

Zeth looks at Lavana and Herbie.

Zeth: “Do the same thing that you did earlier.”

Lavana and Herbie: “Right.”

Herbie carves a plant through the ground.

Herbie: “Release the lava on my signal.”

Lavana: “All right.”

After a minute, Herbie shouts, “Now!”

Lavana releases the lava into the path that Herbie’s plant took. It doesn’t take long before the underground lava begins affecting the mutant dragon. It roars as it takes its claws out of the ground, allowing the tornado to finally pick it up and swirl it around.

Pearl: “So, what now? The tornado’s winds are powerful but not powerful enough to tear the mutant apart.”

Joe: “I’m not done yet… Razor Hail!!!”

Raining down from the clouds are razor-sharp hail pieces, and there are thousands of them. The razor hail shards get caught in the tornado and swirl around with it.

Joe: “The tornado’s extremely fast wind speeds will increase the power of the razor hail. Depending on how strong this Stage 5 is, this attack could tear that mutant dragon to shreds.”

Just as Joe expected, the razor hail begins tearing the mutant dragon apart. However, before it can take too much damage, it roars and fires off a red beam of energy into the sky. The beam blasts through the clouds and disrupts their rotation, significantly weakening the tornado. Once that happens, the tornado is no longer strong enough to carry the mutant dragon so it lands back on the ground.

Joe opens his eyes wide in shock.

Joe: “The energy in that beam must truly be incredible to disrupt my tornado like that!”

Joe ends both the tornado and the razor hail.

The mutant dragon sees the heroes and begins walking that way as it roars.

Kurt: “This is bad!”

Zeth: “Everyone! Prepare for battle!”

Suddenly, the mutant dragon stops moving. It roars again as part of the scaly skin on each shoulder starts to rumble.

Emily: “What is happening to it now?”

In just a moment, two more dragon heads with long necks sprout from its shoulders.

The main head starts speaking with Ronzic’s voice.

Ronzic: “Yes!! It worked!! Halhalhal!!!”

Zeth: “It’s talking!?”

The three heads look at the heroes.

The right shoulder head speaks with Laura’s voice.

Laura: “It’s just a shame it took longer than expected.”

The heroes are all speechless in shock for a moment until Sasha breaks the silence.

Sasha: “You’re Stage 5!! How are you able to control yourself!!?”

Ronzic: “In my research into Blood Magic, I was aware of this possibility.”

Laura: “Ron is a brilliant thinker. He can think of things nobody else would even consider.”

Ronzic: “It’s true that upon going to Stage 4 that I lost control. However, I theorized a workaround. What if we have more than one mind?”

Laura: “A mind is still lost but there are two others still working. We just had to decide which of us would be the one who goes.”

Ronzic: “Biff doesn’t have the greatest brain smarts so he decided to take the fall. Laura and I are still here.”

Zeth: “Very impressive, jackass, but you’re now stuck like that forever as long as you live!”

Ronzic: “Yes, that does appear to be the case. I think we will use this new form to conquer all other divine beings in the galaxy. If we can’t have happiness, then no one can.

Zeth: “You three are so misguided and delusional…”

Narrator: A Stage 5 Blood Form that can be controlled!? Ronzic has found a way to make it happen!
