Chapter 703: The Mutant’s Rage

Narrator: Ronzic has just become a Stage 4 Blood Form mutant!

Emily is no longer in her Supreme Ancestral Form and is now tending to Joe, whose arm appears to be at least fractured. She looks at Ronzic with worry.

Emily: “A Stage 4 Blood Form… Just one step away from Stage 5…”

Sasha: “This brings back memories of our battle against Poleon, which is when Zeth and I went Stage 4 to kill him. Not that we even have memories of anything that happened after we went Stage 4.”

Zeth: “Let’s make sure we’re not on the receiving end of it this time.”

Stage 4 Ronzic roars as he faces Zeth and Sasha. The faces of Laura and Biff are no longer on his shoulders.

The mutant rushes toward Zeth and Sasha and attempts to slash them with its claws. They jump to the side in opposite directions to dodge but the mutant’s tail swings around and impales the right side of Zeth’s abdomen. He opens his eyes wide and grits his teeth in pain as the spiked tail releases him and flings him back into a wall, partially destroying it.

Sasha: (Shouting in worry) “Zeth, are you okay!!?”

Kurt: (Shouting urgently) “Sasha! Watch out!!”

Sasha: “Huh!?”

The mutant’s tail quickly swings around again. Sasha barely jumps over it in time to dodge, but the mutant pounces on her to pin her to the floor using its claws. With Sasha pinned to the floor, the mutant begins to charge powerful red energy in its mouth. Sasha tries to use her own arm strength to break free of the mutant’s claws but struggles to do so.

Sasha: “Damn it!”

Suddenly, a Soul Shooting Star comes flying out from the wall that Zeth crashed into. The Soul Shooting Star slams directly into the mutant and pushes it off her. The star continues to push the mutant until it hits the wall. The mutant tries to push against the star but is unsuccessful. Soon, the star finishes blasting the mutant through the wall before dissipating.

Zeth steps out of the wall with a bad wound on the right side of his abdomen that some blood flows out of.

Zeth: “Damn, that hurts. That’s what you get, mutant freak, for doing this to me.”

Sasha stands up.

Sasha: “Thanks for that. I would have taken serious damage otherwise.

Zeth: “No problem.”

Zeth looks down at his wound.

Zeth: “But it is disappointing that this mutant freak has caught up to our Soul Power strength, even if it did need to get to Stage 4 Blood Form to do so

Joe holds onto his left arm using his right hand. He speaks while still in clear pain.

Joe: “Hey, guys… I think it would be a good idea if you didn’t give the mutant a chance to recover…”

They all hear a roar coming from the wall that the mutant was blown into. More of the wall crumbles into pieces as the mutant blows through it with its physical strength. Back in the main room, the mutant roars. Bizarrely, more mutant heads begin growing out from different parts of its body. They all roar and then retract back into its body. At the same time, the mutant grows two more tails and now has a total of three tails with spiked ends.

Zeth: “I’m going to take a guess and say that’s not a good sign.”

Sasha enters her True Demonic Release form while still using Soul Power. Her personality becomes more aggressive.

Sasha: “Then let’s tear it apart!!”

Zeth and Sasha begin rushing toward the mutant. However, the mutant starts swinging all three of its spiked-end tails toward them. Zeth and Sasha dodge the tails as they rush. However, they have to dodge a lot as the tails are fast. Neither of them gets impaled but they have some close calls that result in a few slashing wounds on various parts of their bodies.

Zeth: “I’m sick of these tails!!”

Zeth forms three Soul Star Shards and throws them at the tails, slicing off two of them but missing one.

Zeth: “That’s enough to get close at least!”

The mutant uses its claws to grab both of the sliced-off tails and swings them at Zeth and Sasha, taking them by surprise. Sasha is slashed on her left leg while Zeth gets impaled on the front left part of his abdomen, leaving him in massive pain.

Zeth: “Gaarrrrrr!!!”

Sasha continues forward with aggressive anticipation.

Sasha: “Now, you’ve done it!!”

Sasha gets close and then uses her left claw-hand to puncture the mutant’s upper-right arm. She grits her teeth with anger.

Sasha: “I’ll rip off every limb until you die.”

Sasha squeezes her claw-hand tighter on the mutant’s arm. The tighter she squeezes, the more blood that spills out. The mutant roars.

Zeth rips the tail’s spike out from his abdomen, leaving another bad wound.

Zeth: “Oouuw!”

Zeth begins forming a Soul Super Nova star in his hand.’’

Zeth: “I’m tired of this. Let’s put an end to this right here and now!”

Kurt: “Wait, Zeth! If you use that in the pyramid, you will destroy it, and then we can’t research it!”

Zeth unforms the Soul Super Nova star.

Zeth: “Ugh. You’re right.”

Sasha fully squeezes into the mutant’s arm. She then slashes through it to slice it off.

Sasha: “Now, for the rest of your body!!”

Sasha charges magic energy into the entirety of both her arms. She begins rapidly slashing the mutant’s body as she circles around it at a high speed.

Sasha: “Take this! And that!”

Her slashes happen so quickly that the mutant can’t react to them.

Sasha: “…This!! And that!!”

The mutant roars as it continues to take damage and lose chunks of its body.

Sasha: “Just die already!!”

Soon, the mutant begins to look more like the blob that it had become before. Despite that, Sasha keeps up her attack.

Sasha: “I won’t stop until there is nothing left!!”

Zeth: “Keep it up, Sasha! Don’t let it regenerate!”

A strong heartbeat happens within the blob. It’s so strong that it causes the whole blob to vibrate.

Sasha: “I won’t let you!!”

Sasha keeps slashing, but after a few more seconds, the blob releases a strong shockwave of energy that knocks Sasha back.

Zeth: “What!?”

Sasha quickly balances herself on her feet, concern showing across her whole face.

Sasha: “I couldn’t do it in time...!”

The blob regenerates its head and roars. The roar is so loud that the whole pyramid seemingly vibrates. The heroes cover their ears for a few seconds, though Emily uses one of her shoulders to cover one of Joe’s ears since he can’t use both his arms at the moment. The blob begins to rapidly regenerate its limbs as it starts to significantly increase in size. Its size increases so much that it becomes too big for the room and pushes the heroes back against the walls until even those break apart from the size increase. Despite becoming too big for the pyramid’s main room, the mutant shows no sign of slowing in its size increase. It just keeps getting bigger and bigger.

From an outside view of the pyramid, the whole thing begins to collapse as the mutant becomes too big to fit in it. Soon, the mutant stops growing bigger, and by this point, it is larger than the pyramid was. It’s close in size to Madeena’s The Titan form. The mutant takes on the form of a massive dragon and is now a quadruped. It roars up at the night’s sky with a full moon shining down.

Narrator: Mutant. Abomination. Freak. – Ronzic… Stage 5 Blood Form.

Narrator: Ronzic has gone all the way to Stage 5 Blood Form! How can the massive monster be stopped!?
