Finale - This Ends Tonight

The story of "The Storm Within" tells the journey of Takehaya Kami, also known as the Storm Warrior, who had once abandoned his name because of the reckless crimes that he had commited amongst his family and to those of the Iza Islands. He is the ONLY son of Spirit Warrior Yu Kami and Enigma Hiveminder Kotone "Shiori" Shirogami and he possess elements belonging to the lightning, to thunder, to the wind, to the rain and to the sea but he chose to deny using all of these abilities as he saw them to be a danger to not just himself but to those around him and it was why he isolated himself from others.

It wasn't until he meet Mary Amano, whom he was working alongside her older brother and Police chief, Tatsuya, and at first, she wished to use him to escape her mundane and meaningless life and properly explore something different but when she was exposed, she came to learn how much Takehaya meant to her deeply and seeing how much he cared for her made her willingly reach the dangerous pits of Yomi to find and rescue him.

But now... Mary had been captured by the Spider Enigma whom now uses her body as a host as means to manipulate and abuse Takehaya for their twisted plan. But can Takehaya save her?

Takehaya woke up, finding himself surrounded by countless books and as he tried to stand, his legs were weak and he could not properly stand. He looked at his clock and realised that it had reached morning already.

He mumbled and groaned as he said to himself, "How long was I here?"

"Long enough..." said a feminine voice.

Takehaya looked around for the source of the voice. He looked up and saw Raimei standing atop some shelves, looking at him quite sternly.

"Raimei?" He said.

Raimei jumped down and kicked him in the face, sending him flying onto the wall.

He asked, "Hey what's your problem?!"

Raimei shrugged her shoulder and said, "I just like you needed to know how much I resent you for that day and also how you deserved that!"

Takehaya stood up and immediately attacked back but Raimei dodged it and pinned him to the ground.

She asked, "That all you got!?"

Takehaya answered, "Nope..." as he suddenly vanished and attacked Raimei from behind, sending her flying into the shelf, causing it to fall down but Takehaya stopped it from falling, saving her.

After fixing the shelf, he immediately asked "What is it that you want from me?"

Raimei stayed silent, staring at Takehaya.

He sighed and said, "You can do that Agent K look with me all you want but seriously, what do you want?"

"You've really changed a lot haven't you?" Said Raimei, she stood up and said, "When we first met, you were some loner kid that preferred to do nothing with his life but now look at you... You're actually doing something recklessly stupid!"

"Yeah well... after that big f-up back then, I knew I had to stop being that guy... and I even tried finding a way to get you back..." said Takehaya with his tone now changing as he explained, "What happened that day... It was a genuine mistake and... I can't change the past... But I can learn from it... And what I learnt was..."

Takehaya struggled as he just wanted to apologise to Raimei for what had happened.

Raimei sighed and said, "If you're going to say sorry then SAY IT! Don't go into some philosophical epiphany or whatever! You should know me by now."

Takehaya paused before saying, "O-okay... I'm sorry for what happened that day... I messed up..."

Raimei stood there in silence. She then said, "Dumbass!" As she smiled and punched him on the shoulder, "Even after what happened, I can't help but not stay mad at you."

"Nice to know." Said Takehaya. He then went back to the original topic as he asked her, "What are you doing here?"

Raimei then answered bluntly, "I've found Mary..." Hearing this made Takehaya jump, she explained "But you"re not going to like the details."

"What happened?" Said Takehaya worried about Mary.

"That Spider Enigma is using her as a host... In the hopes to get to you." Said Raimei, "Thought you'd like to know." Hearing this, Takehaya's head felt light for a second before he was ready to head out but Raimei stopped him saying, "Not so fast!"

"I have to go save her!" Said Takehaya.

"Not yet." Said Raimei. "That cowards going to torture your precious girlfriend of yours if you do anything too rash... You need to think before you act."

Raimei then let go of Takehaya's arm and he asked, "What do you want me to do?"

Raimei answered, "First... I want a rematch."

"What?" Said Takehaya, "But its been 15 years, why now?!"

"Simple, I want to see if you've improved or not." Said Raimei.

"Look I haven't got time for this, I need to save Mary!" Said Takehaya.

Takehaya left the area and took to the sky as he looked for Mary. Raimei followed behind him as she continously got in his line of vision.

She explained, "If you want to know where your girlfriend is and how you can save-"

But Takehaya interrupted as he said, "Like I said Raimei, I don't have time for your childish games!"

"Are you sure?" Said Raimei, "Even though I have the solution of SAVING your girlfriend while presenting no damage towards her precious body?"

Hearing this Takehaya stopped in his tracks.

He looked at her and asked, "Is it... actually possible?"

Raimei shook her head yes to confirm.

Takehaya, sceptical, commented "But the only way that you could escape unharmed was using abilities similar to all the warriors?"

"Wrong!" Said Raimei, "Even though you are freed and are undamaged, you still feel the effects of damage whether it be at a large or small quantity."

Raimei swum around Takehaya as she explained, hoping that he'll agree to play her little game.
