Chapter 707: Planet Pylon Can Finally Heal

Narrator: Ronzic has been defeated! But there are still issues.

Zeth’s star begins to dissipate. He falls to the ground while The Titan begins to revert back into Madeena.

Zeth: “That was sweet. I can’t believe that worked.”

Sasha, Kurt, Joe, Emily, Pearl, Lavana, Dusk, and Herbie all walk toward Zeth and Madeena.

Joe: “I don’t know how you two did that but that was incredible!”

Zeth rubs the back of his head while smiling with his eyes closed for a few moments.

Zeth: “The funny thing is that I don’t know how we did it, either.”

Sasha: “Zeth, when did you get the power to create a star that you can fly on?”

Zeth: “I think it’s best that I explain that when we get out of here.”

Zeth turns to face Madeena.

Zeth: “How did you know that putting my star on in that indent on your forehead would do that?”

Madeena looks at her own hands with confusion before looking back at Zeth.

Madeena: “…I don’t know…”

All of the heroes look at Madeena with surprise and confusion.

Sasha: “What? How? You said ‘star’ to him twice.”

Madeena: “That’s the thing… I said those involuntarily.”

Again, surprise and confusion come across the faces of every hero.

Madeena: “In fact, everything I said after the star was placed in my forehead was said involuntarily. I’m sorry, but I don’t know what any of it means.”

Zeth: “Wow… That’s weird.”

Sasha: “I admit, I can’t even begin to think of an explanation. We might need to just put it off for now and revisit it later if necessary.

Herbie: “There’s one other issue we need to take care of. How exactly do we conclude this planet’s light versus dark conflict? They may have turned on Ronzic, but that doesn’t mean they’re just going to live peacefully with the light beings.”

Sasha: “Just like with Flora World, we’re going to bring them to the negotiation table.”

Sasha looks over to the large group of dark divine beings.

Sasha: “We won’t even have to walk very far to start it. Let’s go talk to them.”

With serious expressions on their faces, the heroes walk toward the large group of dark divine beings, who are led by Yotson and Hayleen. Once they get close, Sasha is the first to speak.

Sasha: “Dark divine beings of Planet Pylon, I am bringing you to a negotiation table to create peace with the light divine beings.”

Yotson: “You want us to make peace with the slaves? That’s impossible.”

Sasha grits her teeth for a moment, clearly irritated by Yotson’s answer.

Sasha: “I want no excuses! The planet our group is from has long since achieved peace between light and dark. We also just came from another planet where we created peace between them. Yotson, as the highest in command dark being left, you will sit at that table.”

Hayleen: “I am in favor of it, sweetie. After briefly getting to know your friend…” (She points at Herbie) “…I have come to the conclusion that your group is full of swell people.”

Yotson sighs.

Yotson: “All right… fine…”

All of the dark divine beings behind Yotson and Hayleen all look at each other with mixed reactions.

Narrator: A few hours later.

A rectangular table has been set up with Yotson sitting at one end and a male light divine being sitting at the other end. Zeth and Sasha sit in the middle section. A group of dark divine beings stands behind Yotson, while a group of light divine beings stands behind the male at the table.

Yotson: “The slavery system was implemented by Ronzic, Laura, and Biff. All of them are dead now. You are free.”

The male at the table pounds his fist on the table.

Male: “You oversaw the slaves! Don’t act like you didn’t have a part in it!”

Yotson: “That’s true, but I was under the belief that Ronzic was leading us all to salvation. That and… our two sides were enemies.”

Sasha: “I have a suggestion. Both sides should abandon the planet and return to Heaven and Hell. Reestablish yourselves and create a new Light and Dark God or Goddess. Let nature take its course on this planet.”

Yotson: “But humans are extinct. What need is there to go back?”

Sasha: “The point is to allow the planet itself to heal. Both sides drained it of its resources. But you will also go back so that both sides can cool down. Staying in close proximity currently just results in the chances of the conflict reigniting.”

Male: “You bring up good points, miss…”

Sasha: “Call me Sasha.”

Zeth: “So, does that sound like a plan to all of you?”

All the dark divine beings look at each other while all of the light divine beings look at each other. They all start nodding their heads.

Zeth: “Good. Then, it’s settled.”

Narrator: Another few hours later.

The sun is beginning to rise in the background. The Stargazer has landed on the ground. It sits behind the heroes, who are facing Madeena.

Madeena: “It’s been a short time, but I am going to miss you guys. Thank you for setting us straight.”

Zeth: No problem. We’re always down to kick some evil ass.”

Sasha: “You know, Madeena, you could join us on our ship. We could use someone like you, and it would be a chance for you to see other planets.”

Madeena smiles while looking down a bit with an almost sad look in her eyes.

Madeena: “I’m sorry, but I am going to decline.”

Sasha opens her eyes wider in surprise.

Sasha: “Are you sure?”

Madeena looks straight forward again and then speaks.

Madeena: “Now is not the time for me to go adventuring. I want to do some inner-focusing and gain the friendship of others, despite my eyes. I also want to thank you again for making me feel better about my strange blue eyes.”

Sasha: “I respect your decision. Do what you feel is best.”

Madeena: “That said, I don’t think this is the last time we will see each other. If you ever need me in the future, you know where to find me.”

Madeena winks for a moment. Sasha smiles back.

Sasha: “Yes, of course.”

Madeena runs up to Sasha and hugs her.

Madeena: “Knowing what you are investigating, I’m certain you and your friends will face extreme challenges and be in constant danger. Be safe out there.”

Sasha nods.

Sasha: “We will.”

Madeena ends her hug and backs away.

Zeth: “I suppose it’s time that we get going. See ya, Madeena.”

The heroes turn around and start heading up the ramp, back into the ship. Sasha is the last to reach the door. She turns around one last time and waves at Madeena, who waves back. She then walks through the door. The ramp retracts and then the Stargazer begins to lift into the sky.

Jeff is in the pilot seat and starts using the controls with excitement.

Jeff: “All right, everyone! We’re taking off!”

The Stargazer flies into the sky and out of the planet’s atmosphere.

Narrator: With their work accomplished, the heroes leave Planet Pylon. But they still haven’t been able to study an intact pyramid. Where do they go from here?
