Chapter 711: Earth has an Abyss Pyramid!?
In Earth’s Heaven. January 6th, Year 14,198.
Harmona sits at a desk in a conference room. Three angel advisors stand in front of her desk. Two of them are males and one is female. Harmona reads over some documents while they look at her, curious to know her reaction.
“What are your thoughts, my goddess?” one of the male advisors asks.
Harmona rubs her chin as she thinks it over. The advisors tense up as they await her reply.
Harmona puts her hand back on the desk and looks the advisors directly in the eyes.
“I can say this, we were spot on to check other planets for pyramids,” she says. “But what concerns me is that the dark divine ruler of Planet Pylon had merged with the abyss AND was obsessed with the pyramid. I’m also curious about this Dark Divine Being with blue eyes.”
“It’s unfortunate that Prince Zeth and his team were still unable to learn anything specific about the pyramids while there,” the female advisor replies.
“That’s true, but they will keep finding planets with pyramids. It’s only a matter of time until they come across one without a major conflict getting in the way,” Harmona states.
The female advisor grits her teeth and clenches her fists in frustration. “If only we had a pyramid we could study ourselves!”
The second male advisor rubs his forehead for a moment. “Do you think… that perhaps Earth has a pyramid like the ones Prince Zeth has found on the other planets?”
Harmona and the other two advisors open their eyes wide.
Harmona leans forward with her hands clasped on her desk, eyes focused on the advisor. “What is your logic in creating that hypothesis?”
The advisor responds, “Well, from their reports, we’ve learned that both Flora World and Pylon have had mortals who use Abyss Magic, and both had pyramids. Earth had a mortal with Abyss Magic, Korobu, so I think it’s possible that Earth could have one of these abyss-influenced pyramids.”
Harmona and the other two assistants open their eyes nearly as wide as they can, as if they have just seen a ghost.
“That is an excellent point!” Harmona concludes.
“Would you like us to launch an investigation into Earth’s pyramids to see if there is an abyss pyramid among them?” The first male advisor asks.
Harmona narrows her eyes. “Yes! Launch it immediately!”
The three advisors nod, bow, and then leave Harmona’s office.
Harmona speaks to herself, thinking aloud. “To defeat the Abyss, we need to stay ahead of the enemy. We may not know what the enemy is planning, but we can stop them.”

In Rom’s room at an unknown location.
Raylee, the fairy, flies into Rom’s room. Rom is sitting comfortably in his chair, watching what appears to be a battle scene on his TV screen. Bennu is sitting on the floor next to the chair.
“Hey! Listen!” Raylee shouts. “Was it truly wise to let another pyramid fall? They don’t exactly grow on trees, you know.”
Speaking calmly, Rom replies, “It wouldn’t have been worth saving. Pylon is becoming too barren for life anyway.”
“If you say so. I still don’t like letting it fall, though,” Raylee pouts.

In the Tower of Suns.
Solen leads Zaydra, Maiyo, and Keith into a room on a higher floor. Unlike the last trial, this room is much smaller. It’s designed to look like a sauna, with much of it being tan-colored. Benches extend out from every wall.
Keith rubs the back of his head. “This just looks like a sauna…”
Solen chuckles. “That’s exactly what it is.”
Zaydra and Maiyo raise an eyebrow.
“Why would you have us come to a sauna?” Zaydra asks, deeply confused.
“A sauna is a magnificent place to relax but doesn’t serve any trial purpose,” Maiyo adds.
Solen holds up his index finger. “That’s where you’re wrong. The next trial is a heat endurance test. If you cannot handle the sun’s heat, you would not be able to wield it.”
Zaydra mumbles, “So, what you’re saying is…”
“That’s right,” Solen confirms. “The heat in here will feel like the heat of the sun.”
He turns around to face Zaydra, Maiyo, and Keith. “You must endure the heat for a set period of time. If you leave the room during that period, you automatically fail.”
“So, we’re just going to sit in here and do nothing else?” Maiyo asks.
Solen grins. “That’s up to you. As long as you stay in this room, you can do anything you like to help you endure the heat.”
Solen then focuses on Keith. “And you, you will not be doing this trial. As we discussed at my personal bar, you will be doing separate training.”
Keith fist pumps with excitement. “Let’s hurry and get their trial started so I can do my training!”
