Chapter 718: Caught in the Web

The heroes are confronted by a woman who looks nearly identical to Sasha!

Sasha grits her teeth. “Just who the hell are you!?”

Tyrant Sasha smirks and points at Sasha. “I’m you, but from an alternate universe.”

All ten heroes open their eyes wider.

“What!?” Zeth mumbles in shock.

“That’s right. I come from an alternate universe,” Tyrant Sasha replies. “Why don’t you guys follow me?”

She thrusts both arms forward, releasing a wide net of thick spider webs at all ten heroes. “Hell Spider Webs!”

Taken by surprise, the heroes are all caught in the web.

“You’re coming with me,” Tyrant Sasha says with an amused tone.

She yanks the web, pulling the ten heroes into the portal with her. Once they’re all in, the portal closes. On the opposite side of the room, Kasuma watches in horror, having seen what just happened.

“I need to get back to the ship to alert the others!” she urgently says.

Back to Harmona.

“You’re making no sense!” Harmona yells.

“Do we really need to spell it out for you?” Tyrant Zeth asks. “We’re from an alternate universe.

“An alternate universe? Is that even possible?” Harmona replies with unease.

“You better believe it’s real because Zaydra and I are standing right here,” Tyrant Zeth says before chuckling. “You see, in our universe, I killed you, Mother.”

Stunned, Harmona opens her eyes wide. “You did what!? Why would you do such a thing!?”

Smirking, Tyrant Zeth responds, “She was a roadblock to my ambitions. Why oversee and boringly watch mortals live when you can make them show you their appreciation?”

“That’s horrible! How could you have such little respect for the woman who gave birth to you!?”

Tyrant Zaydra points directly at Harmona, laughing, “That’s rich coming from you!”

“What do you mean!?” Harmona yells in reply.

“In our universe, you killed your own mother, Zothena,” Tyrant Zaydra answers.

Harmona grits her teeth. “And why did I do that…?”

“Because Grandma Zothena had the same perspective as us,” Tyrant Zaydra says.

“You grew up with a different view of rulership than Grandma Zothena and couldn’t stand how she treated mortals,” Tyrant Zeth adds.

“So, you fought and killed her,” Tyrant Zaydra finishes.

“Regardless of what you tried to teach us, Zaydra and I had the same mindset as Grandma Zothena,” Tyrant Zeth states.

Harmona’s magic charges up, her aura becoming fierce. “Then it looks like this universe’s me will have to teach you two some manners… I WON’T LET YOU RUIN THIS UNIVERSE TOO!!!!!”

Tyrant Zeth and Tyrant Zaydra charge their magic, preparing to resume the battle.

“It looks like we majorly pissed her off,” Tyrant Zaydra notes with amusement.

“She can be as pissed as she wants. The outcome will be the same as in our universe,” Tyrant Zeth replies.

Harmona launches herself forward directly at both tyrants. She holds both arms out wide and slams them into the chests of both tyrants. With that force, she continues her attack by slamming them both into the ground.

“I won’t give either of you a chance to do anything!!” Harmona yells, raising her arms.

A large number of meteors form in the air right above her. “Splatter them, meteors!!”

The meteors launch down from the air into the ground where the tyrants lie. Each consecutive meteor shatters the ground more and more until a large crater forms. Harmona jumps back to protect herself. She stares on as the meteors continue their barrage into the ground.

“Go back to your own universe…” Harmona angrily mutters.

Soon, the last meteor crashes into the now-large crater. Harmona walks up to the edge of the crater and looks down into it. All that is visible are tons of rocks and other shattered ground debris.

“Were they entirely obliterated?” Harmona asks herself. “No, I feel that is unlikely. Where are they?”

Suddenly, the ground starts shaking like an earthquake. After just a few moments, geysers of golden energy blast out of multiple places in the ground, concerning Harmona. “This is bad!”

Tyrant Zaydra breaks out of the ground right in front of Harmona at the crater’s edge, and tries to kick her. Harmona uses her arms to block the kick. However, Tyrant Zeth launches out from a hole created by one of the geysers and thrusts his left arm forward. “Downfall…” he mutters.

A large meteor forms and launches from his hand, blasting directly into Harmona and blowing her away while dealing a lot of damage.

“Aaaaaahhhh!!!” Harmona screams in pain as she is blown away.

As the meteor finally breaks apart, her body ragdolls across the ground before she finally comes to a stop. She has more wounds all over her body.

Meanwhile, Tyrant Zeth has very few wounds, but Tyrant Zayra gained a lot of wounds from Harmona’s attack.

“I sure took a beating from her attack,” Tyrant Zaydra pants, “but it worked as a diversion tactic.”

“Let’s finish her off before she becomes desperate. We agreed not to put any of the pyramids at risk.” Tyrant Zeth says.

Harmona coughs as she tries to stand. Tyrant Zeth’s attack was brutal to her body.

“There’s no doubt about it…” she pants. “Both of them are on my level, or at least close enough that when they work together, they can deal me serious bodily damage.”

As she looks ahead, she sees both tyrants rushing toward her.

“Not good!” she urgently thinks to herself.

Before the tyrants can reach her, a Shooting Star and a large beam of demonic red energy fly in from the side and blast directly into the tyrants, knocking them away enough to cease their pursuit.

Harmona opens her eyes wide as Zaydra and Keith land in front of her from above.

Zaydra swings her right arm in circles to loosen it up, looking generally displeased at the situation. “I don’t know what’s going on here, but you look like you need some help, Mom.”

Keith grins. “And once we're done, we can all go get a drink!”

“Zaydra…” Harmona starts, “Look at their faces.”

Zaydra focuses on the tyrants who stand up again after quickly recovering from the attacks. She opens her one eye wide, and Keith opens both his eyes wide.

“What is this!!?” Zaydra shouts.

“Since when did Zaydra and Zeth have twin siblings!?” Keith blurts out.

“They’re from an alternate universe,” Harmona replies, disappointment in her voice.

Zaydra and Keith turn their heads back toward Harmona and then forward again toward the tyrants.

“Wait, for real!?” Zaydra asks, her one eye opened wide in shock.

“That’s wild!” Keith responds.

“So, this universe’s version of me really does only have one eye left. How interesting,” Tyrant Zaydra says.

Zaydra has now met Tyrant Zaydra! Will she be a match for her evil counterpart from an alternate universe!?
