Powers of the end

We all got off the sidewalk to test our powers in the middle of the street.

"What should we do now?" Rika asked with a lazy tone.

"Rika, you will be the first one" I answered "The voice had said 'fire' to you wasn't it? then try to breathe fire."

"I'm not a dragon you asshole" Rika replied screaming.

"Then try to throw it through your hands." I replied pointing to her hands.

"I hope it doesn't burn my nails." She responded with a worried face.

Rika then raises her arm and keeps swinging it to see what happens.

"Nothing happened" Rika looks happy about the fact.

"Of course nothing happened you didn't even try." I was pissed. "Try to concentrate and yell 'Fire' it might work."

Rika didn't answer anything just raised her arm and yelled with an angry face:

"FIRE" 

At that moment a flame came out of her fist that was big enough to consume a person Rika let out a startled scream right after the flame left.

"It scared me and nearly burned my nails." she said that looking at her own nails.

"Let's ignore the fact that your nails are more important than anything else and move on to the next one." So I pointed to keita.

"Alright I will try." Keita looks confident.

Keita approaches a rock and prepares to punch it.

"Please don't break my hand."

"Keita I think you don't need to say anything, your power is similar to Hideki's, just try to think that your punch will be strong." I advised him.

Keita nodded and went back to concentrating on his punch and then he with a yell punched the stone causing it to shatter into pieces. Everyone applauds Keita as if it were a karate performance.

Keita and I did a High Five after that Hana was about to test her power.

"LIGHTNING." Hana yelled

After she screams a lightning bolt comes out of her hands making even her hair stand up as if they were alive frying a pole that was close to her making the pole fall slowly to the ground she moves out of the way so the pole doesn't fall on her she looked at us and said with a small smile on his face:

"I think this will be good against the skinny creatures."

At that moment I remembered Saya was with us she is so quiet that I almost don't notice her.

"Saya you said the voice said 'speed' right?" I asked looking directly at her face.

"Yes." She replied with her face down and completely red.

"Maybe you have super speed I just don't see much use for it." I gave my opinion.

"Sorry for being useless." She said this with tears in her eyes.

"I didn't mean you're useless, we just need to confirm what your power is and try to think you're super fast." I tried to console her and shift her focus.

She nodded and started making a face like she was struggling a few seconds passed and I was already thinking she wasn't going to make it until a strong wind hit my face and Saya was no longer in front of me I confused looked around and saw Saya a few meters away from all of us.

We all asked her to come back and she was back in the blink of an eye.

"Satisfied, let's go to your house." Hana spoke with a commanding tone.

Everyone agreed and we started walking the streets again we could see the crater that had taken up across the street.

When we were getting close to my street we could see that the houses that hadn't been taken away by the explosion were just cracked and had broken windows.

When we arrived at my house she was still standing with only a few windows broken.

"Glad your house is still whole." Hideki tried to comfort me.

"There seems to be some cracks there." Hana complained.

"That was already there." I replied with a small forced smile.

I went straight to my door and unlocked it as soon as I opened it I said:

"There is no one at home, you can be at ease."

It's not like I live with anyone else.
