New Plan - Mesuda Village Arc

After around an hour both Witz and Ash started to wake up, first was Witz then in around the same time as she made it to the main room Ash woke up.

When Witz entered the main room, she saw the sight of a battered and blooded Honō sleeping on the couch causing her to rub her eyes in disbelief as she walked over got on her hunkers and shook Honō awake.

As Honō woke up Witz began to ask, “you, ok?”

Honō half asleep looked at Witz for a minute before answering her Question. “Ya I’m ok” he answered in a tired yawn of a voice.

“Good, good so what happened? Rough Sex?” Asked Witz in a curious manner as she looked at the countless cuts, bruises, and bandages around his body before continuing “Scratch that you’re too plain a person for that.”

“Ya no that didn’t happen” spoke Honō as he began to sit up and look over towards Ash who was still stretching oblivious to their conversation. “I’ll tell you what happened once Ash is ready so that I can tell you both at the same time”

“Ok fine with me” replied Witz nonchalantly before standing up and yelling at Ash to hurry up already causing Ash to just stare at Witz in tired confusion.

After around five minutes when Ash had fully wakened up and realised Honō did he sit down to listen to what happened.

Over the next hour Honō explained everything about what happened excluding certain details like him passing out and his other soul taking control. At some point during his explanation Selene sat down and listened after returning to the cabin as she had left to pick more of the herbs, she was using to make the pain killers for Honō.

They all had a moment of silence after he finished explaining the story. After a minute Witz made a fist and tapped it on Honō’s head. “Why didn’t you wake us we could have helped you if not me Ash very much could had” shouted Witz angrily at Honō as Selene smiled and got up to go make more of the coffee with painkillers mixed in that she had made Honō early that morning.

“Sorry” spoke Honō looking down as he knew Witz was right.

“Witz go easy on him he had to make a quick decision he had no time to wake us if he had tried to then Osore would had gotten away with the beast corpses and we’d have no more information on him” defend Ash who had been quiet the entire time up to that point.

“I know but still it doesn’t matter if he got away with the corpses or not. Honō could have died because of it” shouted Witz now turned towards Ash.

“I’m alive though am I not” spoke Honō as Selene sat down with a tray of drinks including Honō’s painkiller infused coffee, a normal coffee for Witz and a tea for Ash.

“Yes, I know but still don’t be so reckless” spoke Witz having finally calmed down. 

“I promise I won’t be” smiled Honō before continuing, “so we should head to Mithhar and get permission to explore the centre of the forest to see what’s causing the beast attacks” 

“Sounds like a plan when do we leave?” Asked Selene to everyone’s surprise.

“You want to come with us?” Questioned Witz took back by Selene’s statement.

“Yep hope that’s ok” answered Selene in a meek voice.

“There’s no problem just what about Thaddeus and the people of Mesuda?” Asked Witz unsure how to feel from the request. 

“It’s ok Xander is finally going to the head church in the capital to do something about Thaddeus so in a week or two it will be ok” explained Selene lying only somewhat in her explanation about Xander’s visit to the head church.

“That’s great news to hear” exclaimed Witz as a large smile appeared on both her, Honō’s and Ash’s faces as all were happy to hear the news.

“Yep sure is” said Selene as she put on a meek smile to hide her lie.

“Well I guess I’ll go call Armatura and give him the report of the Mesuda mission along with our new plan and Selene’s joining us in it” stated Witz as she stood up and began walking outside to the back patio.

After a few moments a knock could be heard from the front door. Before Selene could even get it though the person who knocked on the door let himself in.

It was Xander Benedict.
