Chapter 13:

Disagreement - Desecration Arc

Engulfed in Darkness - Becoming a Villain in Another World (Part II)

Wisteria and Tomokazu pushed past Hiroshi in the door, and stood menacingly in front of Bibi, who seemed to get uncomfortable very quickly. She looked really small on the couch, fear in her eyes.

"What the hell guys?!" Hiroshi exclaimed, walking over to them. "I never said you could come in!"

"I live here too, Hiroshi," Tomokazu hissed, not keeping his eyes off Bibi, anger plaguing the whites of his eyes.

"That doesn't mean you could come in without asking. It's MY house. Still, Wisteria you have no excuse."

"I'm your girlfriend. I have every right to be in here," Wisteria told Hiroshi in a deep tone, also not focusing her gaze off Bibi, who was only being made more uncomfortable

"No, it doesn't. Get out."

"Or what?!" Wisteria turned around and yelled at Hiroshi, who took a step back. What on earth was happening?!

"Tomo! You were defending her during the Number One fight! Why are you teaming up with Wisteria?!" Hiroshi yelled back. He could feel his anger bubbling up inside of him at a rapid rate.

"Wisteria told me she might be a threat. While I didn't believe it at first, she has huge explosive power, and she's faster than any one of us. I think she could doom us all if the mission continues," Tomokazu tried to talk sense to Hiroshi, but from where he was standing, Hiroshi thought Tomokazu was in the wrong.

"You put ideas in his head?! Why Wisteria?!" Hiroshi yelled at her for the first time in their relationship. Wisteria wasn't backing down.

"She is a danger to this mission. Who knows what will happen if her father is actually alive? She could kill us in a revenge quest if we get in her head or try to reason with her. I'm saying this for our safety, Hiroshi," Wisteria told Hiroshi, gritting her teeth.

Hiroshi. She never called him that. Only when she was upset or serious.

"She found out great information though! You should sit down and listen-"

"Shut up Hiroshi!" Wisteria cut him off, and she and Tomokazu faced Bibi again, who was now shivering in fear.

Something in Hiroshi snapped.

He didn't want this to happen again. They had enough arguements before their fight with the heroes in Lodestown. He moved behind Tomokazu.

"Get out. Now."

"And what if I don't-" Tomokazu started, turning to face Hiroshi. He could hardly finish his sentence, before his friend's hand was around his throat. He lifted him off the ground, and Tomokazu gagged, trying to pry Hiroshi's hand off with his fingers, to no avail.

"This," Hiroshi stated coldly, before throwing Tomokazu as hard as he could through the open front door. Tomokazu ate the dirt, landing with a few flips on his back in the middle of the village square. Hiroshi walked outside, facing down his challenger.

"Back off, Tomo. I won't ask you again," Hiroshi pleaded with Tomokazu. The God's Child face changed to a smirk. Hiroshi dodged to the right, narrowly dodging a strike from behind from Wisteria with a fist covered in ice. The force of her punch sent her flying across the square, falling beside Tomokazu.

"Why are you doing this?!" Hiroshi pleaded with his friends to tell him why, but Tomokazu shook his head. He unleashed his presence, hoping to take Hiroshi off his feet.

It failed horribly.

Hiroshi unleashed his own presence, clashing with Tomokazu. Both men had the same strength. It was impossible to tell who was winning the battle and who was winning. It looked like their presence would be clashing for the rest of the day, until of the other's manna ran out.

A figure appeared from the invisble particles of the air, and was stood in the middle of the two men. At first, both were confused at who the figure was, until he unleashed his own presence. Tomokazu and Hiroshi were both blown off their feet. Hiroshi slammed into his own house, knocking the wind out of him.

Tsuyoshi Kage.

"Enough."

That one word was all the three had to hear. Even Hiroshi, who hated kneeling, walked over to his mentor, and kneeled beneath him, alongside Wisteria and Tomokazu. Bibi walked to the doorway, and watched from afar. Kage signalled to her that she should stay put.

"What was that?" Kage asked, scanning his students faces.

None of them answered.

"What was the disagreement?"

A moment of silence. Then, Tomokazu spoke up.

"With all due respect, me and Wisteria think Bibi could jeopardise our next mission. Her emotional state would not hold up, and she would make an irrational decision that could get not only her killed, but us too. You seen how she punched Hiroshi at the Great Encounter Battle Tournament. She is not ready for this mission."

Kage nodded, taking all the information very well. Hiroshi looked at Wisteria, who now had her head hung in shame. Did Tomokazu put her up to this? He knew it seemed out of character for her.

"Yes. You are correct. Her emotional state might be detrimental. However, we embrace that as a flaw, and we carry our friends to the finish line with that flaw. I argued with some of my friends during the war. You know what happened? They died before I could apologize. And now I have to live with that for the rest of my life. I do not want to see this crap happen again. You guys are all supposed to be good friends. Do you understand me?"

Kage spoke one of his speeches confidently. Hiroshi felt bad for him. For a powerful man with great direction and a wonderful smile, he really was just full of pain.

Empty.

The three of them nodded, and Kage gave a small smile.

"Good. Now..." he continued. "I suggest you three go to Titania for a high grade sword each, and take Bibi with you. You guys need to get along more, seriously."

Wisteria signalled to Hiroshi, as if she wanted to talk with him. Hiroshi rolled his eyes.

What now?
