The Superheroes' Daughter Can't Relax Eating Her Lunch

A silver sports car that unusually large front part is arriving at the police office.

After it finishes parking, the driver comes out. The driver is a short lady with long silver hair. She is wearing light blue kimono with sakura pattern. Then she walks to the police office while bringing her brown purse.

Few minutes later, the policeman opens the door to the room where the glasses girl is sitting.

Fumiko the glasses girl is surprised that the kimono girl is entering the room together with the policeman.

"My my... what kind of trouble you make this time?"

The kimono girl says that while smiling at Fumiko.

"No, that's..."

Fumiko wants to complain but she stops her sentence as she does not want to say anything bad in front of police.

The policeman looks at the kimono girl for a moment before asking a question.

"Excuse me but... you're not a human, aren't you?"

The girl smiles at the policeman before answering his question.

"Yes, I am a Yuki-onna Youkai. My name is Nakamoto Shizuka. As for my occupation..."

Instead of saying her occupation, she takes out her business card from her purse and gives it to the policeman.

"Cyber Vehicle Engineer huh..."

The policeman says that while looking at the business card.

"Yes, but my service also accepts older type of vehicle as well."

"Understood. Please sit down for now."

The policeman says that while putting another chair near the table.

"Yes, but..."

The kimono girl says that while looking at the air conditioner located near the ceiling.

"It's a bit hot here huh..."

"Ah, excuse me..."

The policeman says that and takes the air conditioner's remote control. Currently it is autumn so the air conditioner is set on warming the room. The policeman changes the setting so that the air conditioner breathes out cold air instead.

Yuki-onna is a female youkai that usually lives in snowy mountain. Being in hot place can deteriorate their health. The policeman sets the air conditioner with that knowledge in mind.

"Thank you."

Shizuka the Yuki-onna Youkai sits besides Fumiko after saying that.

"First, let me explain the situation."

The police says that the moment he sits in front of Fumiko and Shizuka.

After few minutes of explanation, Shizuka talks to the policeman.

"I see. So that's what happened."

"The investigation shows that Miss Fumiko fought out of self defense. She won't be deemed guilty."

The policeman says that while holding a report paper on his right hand.

"Then, can we go now?"

Fumiko asks that question while looking at the policeman.

"Not yet. The last suspect is still on the run. That person might still target you so we need you to wait here a bit longer-"

Before he can finish his sentence, his smartphone rings so he immediately answers the call.

"Yes. Miyama speaking."

Both Shizuka and Fumiko look at the policeman when he is answering the call.

"Yes, she is here together with her guardian. ... no, she is not injured. Her bag is burnt a bit but that's all. ... Yes."

The policeman then looks at Fumiko while talking to the phone.

"Yes, I'll tell them."

The policeman closes the call right after saying that.

"The last suspect had been caught and taken into the headquarters already. You can go now."

Hearing that, Shizuka and Fumiko goes out from the police office. Both of them enters the silver sports car with unusually large front part and leaves.

On the road, Shizuka talks to Fumiko while driving.

"Guess I'll be driving you to school from now."

"Sigh, no choice..."

Fumiko says while looking outside through the car's window.

"You dislike going to school with this car that much?"

"This car stands out too much."

"We only have this car you know..."

As Shizuka says that, she stops the car in front of red traffic light together with other cars.

Meanwhile a flying motorcycle without wheel is approaching the police station from above.

The rider is a superhero wearing platinum armor with a golden star on his helmet.

The moment his motorcycle lands on the ground, the superhero enters the police office.

The policeman who interrogated Fumiko earlier notices the superhero entering the office.

"Stargazer Platina-sama!? W- welcome!"

The policeman says that in panic while saluting the famous superhero in front of him.

"Good work, officer. Are you here alone?"

Stargazer Platina says that while looking around the office. There is no one else in his sight.

"No, the chief and one other member are currently interrogating the suspects. The rest is still out for patrol."

"I see. I'm sure that you received the report already, but I apprehended one of them. It appears that the suspect is actually a lycanthrope that can transform into a human. He faked his ID as a human that has therianthrope superpower."

"I- is that so..."

"The headquarters has given me permission to interrogate that suspect in my spaceship. As such, I would like to check whether the other suspects are also supernatural beings in disguise as well."

"Understood. The chief is this way-"

"Ah, before that..."

Stargazer Platina says that when the policeman is about to guide him.

"May I know what happened to the victim?"

Few minutes later, the policeman and the superhero are inside the interrogation's room where Fumiko was sitting before. The policeman is moving his computer's mouse while sitting on his chair. The superhero is standing besides him.

"She is unhurt aside from having her bag burnt a bit."

"After fighting against five superpower users?"

Stargazer Platina says that with a slight tone of disbelief.

"The person herself admits that she practiced martial arts since young. Here is her data."

The policeman says that as he finishes typing on his computer and shows Nakamoto Fumiko's record in the database.

Stargazer Platina looks at the record and his attention immediately goes to Nakamoto Fumiko's name.

(Nakamoto...?)

The superhero thinks that as he then shifts his attention to the photo revealing Nakamoto Fumiko's face.

Meanwhile, Fumiko enters her classroom. The students and the middle-aged male teacher's attention immediately feels like multiple drills piercing her skin.

She quickly goes to the teacher and hands over the excuse letter.

"Sorry, I am late..."

She says that with a soft voice but the teacher can still hear her clearly. The male teacher takes and glances at the excuse letter. He furrows his eyebrow a bit looking at excuse letter from the police station.

"I see. Go to your seat for now."

"Yes..."

Fumiko then quickly goes to her seat at the right back corner of the classroom while hearing other students' whispers.

The lesson goes on until it's finally lunchtime.

During class, Fumiko brings out her lunchbox from her bag. She opens it revealing rice, egg rolls, vegetables and sausages. She starts eating alone on her seat.

Many students go in and out of class. The group of students starts talking at the most left side of the classroom.

"I saw it with my own two eyes! She comes out from that big silver sports car!"

The male student says that while pointing at Fumiko.

"Really? So I guess the rumour was true."

"Yeah, I saw that car in the past. It has such a distinctive design that there is no way I can mistook it for another car."

From the moment the student says that, the group collectively looks at Fumiko.

"She must be the daughter of the superhero Machina Heart and Frost Zero!"

The group starts talking louder and louder in class.

(I can hear you guys you know...)

Fumiko thinks that and sighs in the middle of her lunch.
