Volume 1 Chapter 4: "Deaths"

One year after we met, she became pregnant with our second child.

We already had our first baby... daughter named Yuki.

When she was at the hospital for delivery, I was sent home to take some documents for the operation.

I ran as fast as I could.

I was just a few steps from my front door...

But then, in an instant... I was summoned.

Back to that place.

The same place where I had accidentally killed the gods and goddesses.

But this time... there were no gods.

No goddesses.

Only one person stood before me.

He wore a black, full-face mask on his face and a deep purple suit.

He stared at me in silence... then finally spoke.

I was looking at myself and then he said something.

"Hey, you are finally here huh?" The masked man said.

Then I heard a familiar voice behind me, and I turned slowly...

I saw two people, both of whom had swords in their hands.

At that moment, I was frozen because I saw those people whom I thought I would never see again.

I couldn't believe it.

Those two people were none other than Butler and his brother's son...

....

"No way, you can't be here because you were not hit by any truck..." I said, shocked.

"Are you sure the only way to get in another world is hitted by truck?" The masked man asked.

"I think... he is right...

Because someone can be summoned so it will kinda like reincarnated in another world.

So butler and his brother son was summoned here huh?

But by who?

And why?

Gods and goddesses was died because by me accidentally.

So, who the hell is so strong enough than gods and goddesses who can summoned my butler and nephew who was dead in there world?" I whispered.

"Hey, who the hell are you really? What is your name? And who the hell has that much power to summon others from their worlds while they are dead? Tell me." I said.

"Oh my, please ask slowly you have asked so many questions at one time.

Let's start from answering your first question I am just a human and you can call me Shen it is a name from my favourite anime" The masked man revealed his name as Shen.

"So basically he is like me huh?

Not exactly but from the name of both us from anime...

Given a name by someone close to him or took the name from anime by himself and make it his name" I whispered.

"So you are saying me your name is from a anime like me?" I asked.

"What the heck you are saying? Your real name was given by your parents and it was orignal so basically you have not a name from any anime" Shen said.

"Huh? You have a real name too right? The name shen will be your second name right?" I asked.

Suddenly he began to laugh like a psycho...

"What the heck is he laughing at?

Is he laughing at me?" I whispered.

"You freaking psycho! Why are you laughing? Because of anything I said" I asked.

He doesn't answer still laughing.

"Do you really are some psycho? I am asking you something answer me" I said.

He doesn't answer this time too still laughing.

"Y-You! Freaking *** hole what is wrong with you huh? Did your family have kicked you out of home? Or your life is like hell huh?" I said, angered.

Suddenly he claimed down then looked at me and said,

"I am not here to answer your question *** hole"

"What did you just said now?" I said, angered.

Suddenly someone pulled knife in my body from back.

"What the heck happened?" I said.

"What the heck happened just now?

Why is my blood releasing?

Why am I feeled like someone has pulled a knife in my body from my back.

But behind me was only two persons my butler and his brother son no one else" I whispered.

I turned back to see and I find my heart last piece broken.

B-Because the person who pulled a knife in my body from behind was the butler whom I called grandfather too.

Blood out from my mouth...

"Why?

Why this all keep happening with me?

Why am I the unlucky one?

Do I did something wrong?

Do the creator is unhappy with me?

What the heck is wrong with me only?" I said.

Then butler brother son bring a iron hammer and began to came to me.

Then butler asked something to Shen,

"Can I use my assassin skills"

Then Shen nodded his head.

Then butler came to me with swords in his hand and began to cut my hand and feet fingers one by one.

"A-Aag-ggggh-hhh!" I screamed.

"What happened to you Shin Tomoko?" Shen asked.

Butler now began to cut my arms while the butler son was hitting my feets with iron hammer.

"A-Aaaag-ggggh-hhhh! Why are you doing this to me huh? Tell me Shen" I asked.

"Because I am stupid that's why I am doing this to you because I hate you.

Because I hate seeing you living a happy married life nothing more" Shen said.

"W-What? What the hell are you saying? You hate seeing me living a happy married life? But why? I don't know I have ever seen you?" I asked.

"You are right that you have never seen me but Are you sure you have never listen or seen me anywhere?" Shen asked.

"I am sure I have never seen or heard of you" I said.

"If you want to believe that... go ahead, and believe that" Shen said.

In the very next moment... my head vanished.

I was dead.

Before I could even process it.

I was regenerated... only to see my head lying on the ground, severed from my body in pieces...

My limbs scattered around it.

"A-aaahhhh...! A-Aaaa-g-ggggh-hhhh! T-That's not... my head! It can't be my head!" I screamed, trembling.

My body reformed... again... but something was wrong.

This wasn't like my usual regeneration.

My parts weren't just rapering me...

They were forcing themselves back together.

"My head?

My mind is now breaked in pieces is this because I was not suffered like this from a long time?

From that time in lab by my mother and her assistant?

What is happening to me?

And most important thing" I whispered.

I looked at him... Shen.

"This man...

No... Shen...

He is not any ordinary human...

He is a monster.

He is more powerful than me...

He could crush me like a bug in seconds.

What do I do?" I Whispered.

"Are you worried about your family? Don't worry about that I have stopped time in this place" Shen said.

"W-What? You have stopped the time? No human can do this?" I said.

"Huh? No human can do this? What about you? You are also equal to me right?" Shen said.

The next moment my body melted by acid.

I was dead again.

Like before I could even process anything.

I was regenerated...

This time was to see nothing...

"I am regenerate again huh?

Let's see what are they going to do with me..." I whispered.

I tried to see anything but...

My eyes... they had already been ripped from their sockets.

I couldn't see anything even I was not able to cry now... because my eyes were gone.

"No! please, I don't want this... please" I said, trembled.

What happened? You are this much scared from this small treatment? Remember you have survived from the lab experiments..." Shen said.

Is butler is coming at me with something more scariest thing in his hand?

Is butler brother son is coming at me with some sword or hammer this time?

I-I am scared..." I whispered.

"Hey, If you don't mind can you please wait at least for my eyes to regenerate" I asked.

Next moment...

Everything above my nose had been cut away... my face, my identity... erased in an instant.

I was dead third time I guess.

Before I could even process this time again.

I was regenerated like before...

I died like this or rather say in more cruel ways one hundredth times.

"Hey, this is hundredth time right?" I asked.

"Yes, it is" Shen said.

"Can I get some drink before dying two hundredth time?" I asked.

"I think you can have at least one for your hard work" Shen said.

He asked them to stop.

And then suddenly a vending machine came out of nowwhere.

He ask me to choose one.

"Hey, which one would you choose?" Shen asked.

"He is being so kind with me...

Is he became kind to me?

Or is he had something planned cruel after this?

I think, I will think after drink this" I whispered .

"I think, I will have orange one" I answered.

He gave me drink.

"Take it, and enjoy" Shen said.

"I think he had reliazed he is doing not right.

I am very happy for him" I whispered.

"Thank you for drink, you know what...? You can be kind too" I said.

Then I drink it.

Just one sip, and next moment my body was explored...

I was dead again...

Before I could even process anything.

I was regenerated...

"Why? Why does people always keep breaking me? Why people always make me believe than crushed it? Why?" I said.

"What the heck are you even saying?" Shen said.

"Why? Why does the people I belived always betrayed me? Like you did just now..." I asked.

"So, you were hoping to me for some pity on you?" Shen asked.

"Yes, I was hoping from you some damn pity but I was wrong because you are *** hole so you can't..." I answered.

Next moment like before my head split from my body fall on ground.

I was dead again then I regenerated again.

I died four hundredth time in cruel ways which was even more worst than the lab experiments.

"So this is the four hundredth times now, huh?" I asked.

In the very next moment... my head was sliced off again.

I died.

And then, I regenerated... like before...

Slowly, painfully, I sat up.

"Hey, I want to ask something" I asked.

"Go ahead. Ask what you want to know" Shen answered, calm as ever

"I am... hungry. Can I get something to eat?" I asked, almost like a joke.

Shen tilted his head slightly.

"If you want us to shove a red-hot put iron into your mouth, we can arrange that" Shen answered.

I died one hundredth to fifty hundredth time.

Then fifty hundredth to eighty nine hundredth times.

I kept dying.

I screamed, I cried. I begged them to stop.

I asked what I had done wrong... why this world hated me.

They just killed me. Over, and over, and over.

Sometimes I was burned alive.

Sometimes I was torn apart.

Other times... they made me watch as my body was slowly crushed... bone by bone, inch by inch.

I tried to escape from reality that they are killing me but I can't escape it.

I tried to keep quiet because I don't want to kill my butler or his brother son.

I died many times...

But every time I died, I came back.

Not stronger. Not braver.

Just more broken.

Sometimes I was unable to count so i skipped counting.

I thought every time it will be last but it wasn't.

The pain kept returning.

Again. and again. Until the time comes where I was not human anymore.

Where I was became a monster.

Breathing.

Existing.

But I am not alive.

I don't remeber how many times did I scream, beg, and break?

I died one hundredth million billion times... by my butler and his brother son I think.

"This is one hundredth million billion times right? There is no way I could be wrong about counting" I asked.

"Huh? Sorry to say that but you are wrong... The real counting of your death is ninty nine hundred million billion *** hole" Shen said.

"Huh? I think you are right because my brain was stopped for some deaths" I said.

"You are right and I know you are saying right" Shen said.

"Do you know? My family? I had no one except butler and his brother son.

I know sometimes they both act like jokers and showed me things which I shouldn't watch but it gave me some strength too.

It make me different, when other boys was lost in lust I was one to ignore that because I had learned about this from early age so I had no habits to do what most boys do over lust.

So I really am glad to take them us my family" I said, with a gentle smile tears were falling from my eyes.

Suddenly butler and his brother hands stopped and tears started to fall from their eyes.

"Hey, y-you are my master no my grandson I have remembered now" Butler said.

"Yes, I am your grandson even if it is by some fake documents" I said, with a gentle smile.

"You really are Shin Tomoko right?" Butler brother said.

"Yes, I am" I said.

"My grandson, I am really sorry for what I was doing with you" Butler said.

"Don't worry about me, your memories are finally returned I am very happy for you" I said, with a gentle smile.

"Now, Shen can I ask what you have done with my family a moment ago or rather say...

or rather say...

Forget it I don't know how much time has passed, just tell me now what you done with my family" I asked.

"So, let's start from beginning...

At first, I make your butler and his nephew summoned here and erased memories only of you and your family.

Then, I made them alive.

After that I said them to use their previous life talent to kill you and that talent was that your butler was an assassin once and you know what most assassins are good in right?" Shen said.

"Then, do you mean... my butler was a assassin for real...

And that you erased their memories about me and my family...

But you know what? You fallied because the people who loves me most are butler and his nephew or rather say my family.

Because they get their erased memories back..." I said.

"You are right..." Shen said.

Suddenly, Shen came close to me.

Next moment, he bound my hands in chains... not just cold metal, but chains that stole my body to move a bit and turned me into nothing more than a prisoner of his cruel plan.

"What happened just now?

My hands have been bounded by chains?

But how?

This happened so fast I couldn't even see him come near to me?

Then how did he did it?" I whispered.

"What the heck you did just now? Why did you bound my hands with this damn chains? Answer me..." I asked, screamed.

Then suddenly he raised his hand and a lot of torture tools came out of nowhere...

"What are this for?

Are you going to torture me?

Or are you going to kill me?" I asked.

Suddenly he laugh for a second then began to laugh like a devil.

"What is he actually doing laughing or crying?

Why does it seems like he can became even more cruel this time?" I whispered.

"Hey, What are you laughing at *** hole? Will you tell me?" I asked.

Then he stopped laughing and answered,

"Did you have heard the story called a broken shell?"

"A broken shell? I doesn't have heard..." I said, but stopped at middle of talking.

"This story... why does it seems like something important to me?

I think I heard this from someone previous to me?

But there is no one precious to me other than butler and his nephew then who the helll told me this story?

My father?

My grandfather?

My mother?

My grandmother?

Wait...

My mother... yes I heard it from her when I baby.

It was about a boy who was lost in wars because of what the pirates did to his family.

He spent his all childhood in war from age three to sixteen...

Because after sixteen he found happiness but it was not on any planet or universe but in heaven..." I whispered.

"Yes, I heard this story before by my mother so now why did you ask?" I asked.

"B-Because I think like the boy in story i am lost in wars which i never want...

I wish to be free... but I know I will only get it in heaven not in this world but I know this too that even hell will reject me to enter for what I am going to do..." Shen said.

"What the heck did he is thinking about?

Even hell, the place where all evil souls enters will reject him?

What the heck is he going to do?" I whispered.

"Uumm... I forgot to told you that your chains are very strong you will never able to break them and I am not going to do anything with you instead i will do this with your all family include your wife..." He said.

"So you aren't going to torture me instead my fam..." I said, but I stopped in middle.

"What did he meant?

Did he is going to torture my family like the way I was tortured?

No way this will be worst... it can't be... never" I whispered.

"Hey, If you want then kill me but please leave my family" I said.

"Don't worry they will not die because I will give them immortality first..." Shen said.

"Immortality? No way no one is able to give someone this then how can you do this? Seriously who the hell are you really?" I asked.

"Who I am? Like I said before I am Shen and you can also call me the main character of the book named A broken shell the story your mother told you Shin" Shen said.

Next moment, I saw my wife... Yurina Tomoko there.

"Yurina? Why is she here? Tell me? Please don't answer me with this is related to something you just said a minute ago" I asked.

Without a warning... He began to torture my butler and his nephew infront of me with torturing tool, acid and many more things.

At first, Shen cut butler hand finger and then butler screamed...

"A-Aaaaag-ggggggh-hhhhhh..."

"No...!" I screamed.

Then he raised he raised the acid bottle with his hand, set it atop the butler's head like a crown of cruelty... and began to unscrew the cap, letting fate drip one turn at a time.

At that moment I was unable to closed my eyes because of Shen spell.

I was seeing butler body melting right infront of me...

"A-Aaaaag-ggggh-hhhh..." Butler screamed.

"Why am I always trapped in situation like this...

I was trapped in a baby body when a man with masked pulled the knife in my mother body...

I was trapped in lab when Elwin was melting, tortured screamed infront of me... I was sat on chair like an idiot seeing her but doing nothing...

Why am I always the one behind to watch?

Why does they all suffer... just for knowing me?

Mother... Elwin... butler... his nephew...

I-hate I hate myself...

Why?

Why?

Why does this always keep happening with me?

My voice cracked...

If there is a god in any multiverse... I will curse them all.

Why?

Why does always a innocent soul has to suffered...

Why my butler, butler nephew, Elwin, my mother suffered...

Why does they all choose me and suffered instead of running or leaving me...

Why?

Tell me?" I whispered.

Like this he tortured my butler fifty thousand times infront of me with acid and torturing tools...

Then he put his hand on butler head and next moment...

Butler memories was erased again...

Suddenly, he leaves butler and began to came close to butler nephew who was asleep beside me.

That was because of Shen spell...

"I am warning you," I said, dead eyes." Don't make me suffered that much that I even forgot I had any heart in me.

If you kept suffering me I swear you will be erased your existence" I said, with dead eyes coldly.

"That's exactly what I want," Shen said.

Shen came close to the butler nephew...

The butler nephew was still unconscious, his breathing slow and unware of chaos around him.

With a single motion, Shen wiped his memories from his mind, leaving him empty, hollow... obedient.

"Then, Shen stood tall, his voice echoing unnaturally, like a decree from some twisted gods.

"Listen carefully, From now on, you both will now do what I will say, you both will only serve me"

He looked at me... eyes soulless, smile cruel then he said,

"Your only task... Your only task is to destroy everything he loves"

I froze.

Shen turned his gaze to the girl beside me... my wife... who was watching in fear, chained and trembling.

"You will do exactly what I say,

Go now... violate her. Take everything from her. Shatter her completely... break what's left of her soul" he said coldly.

"No matter how cruel. No matter how vile. You won't even know it's wrong... because I have taken your hearts away."

My body trembled.

I felt like vomiting.

My soul screamed.

"If you touch her... if you even breathe wrong..."

"Then what?" Shen interrupted. "You will kill me? You can't even blink without my permission."

He smiled.

"This our punishment, Shin. To watch everything you love... shatter."

My voice broke.

"I swear, Shen. I will erase you from all timelines... even if I lose myself doing it."

Shen stepped back, watching with that same twisted smirk.

The girl... My wife ... lay trembling, barely covered. Her voice had vanished.

Her eyes were empty.

I screamed, voice broken, fists bloddy from pounding against the chains.

"STOP IT!"

Tears was keep falling from my eyes like water from cloud In speed.

But Shen does not laughed or cried instead he started to punch his self very hard...

"What is he doing? " I whispered.

Then after a while he started laughing like a psycho.

"He is laughing now huh?

I was already knew that...

He is not a normal human or a god.

He is a vessel for someone" I whispered.

"You said you'd do have anything to protect her.

Now watch what that means" Shen said.

The two men, once loyal, now hollow puppets, backed away.

They didn't even seem to know what they'd done.

And yet... silence said everything.

The shame, the slintness, the way she couldn't meet his eyes.

Something had been stolen... and it would never return.

Like this she was violated ninety-nine hundred million times right in front of me... and I just sat there, watching. Helpless. Pathetic.

Just like when I saw Elwin melt.

Just like when the masked man killed my mother. Just like when they broke my butler, tore apart his nephew... again and again.

And I-I did nothing.

Nothing.

"Sorry, butler me friend and my wife because now I am not feeling anything but a feeling to kill him fast as I can without giving any suffering to him.

I just want to give him a peaceful dead.

I just want him to not feel what I felt, what Elwin felt, what butler felt , what his nephew felt , what my mother felt.

I just feeling a light in my heart..." I whispered.

Next moment, the chains broke in pieces...

I could feel it now.

A surge within me.

Not rage.

Not fear.

Power.

A power beyond anything I had ever known.

More then Shen.

More than what he thought was possible .

"At last... your power has finally awakened huh?" Shen said, voice clam... but I could hear the happiness beneath it.

I didn't say a single word.

I stepped forward. Slowly, Deliberately.

"What happened? Are you that scared your feets are not moving now?" Shen said.

I stay slient stepping toward Shen.

I stepped forward. Or rather, I ceased to be bound by time.

In the time it took for a Planck moment to flicker, Shen's defense shattered.

"I moved," I whispered., "in the speed of planck."
