Chapter 1:

Reality

Loneliness is a Concept

Tick tock.Hands stained with blood, her soul could no longer leave. The horrid reality, the brutal sight. Why was she here? What had happened? All those lies, all the fantastical thoughts....Three, two, one. Tick tock, time goes by.Five, six, seven, eight.Drip drop, they slide down. Leaking, dripping, flowing. The deep red stain of blood.

Piled up on top of each other, she could not leave. Nor did she want to, was this what she truly wanted?Who was she truly? What did she want truly? How long had she been here? What had she been doing here? Her heart raced, trying to find the truth.Maybe, what she truly needed was comfort. They talked down on her, when she tried to reach out for comfort. When she was surrounded by loneliness, did they come to help? They didn't, and they mocked her. They excluded her, no one ever thought of staying with her, no one even remembered her.

Why should she have shown them mercy? When once again, they reached out to her only to throw her away once again. How much did they enjoy giving her hope only to take it away once again? Plunged into warmth, then being thrown out into the horrid cold. They hurt her, they shouldn't have done that, they did it anyways, they shouldn't have done that, THEY CAME BACK, AND THEY HURT HER, THEY SHOULDN'T HAVE DONE THAT, THEY SHOULDN'T HAVE DONE IT AGAIN!

NO ONE HEARD HER, NO ONE SAW HER, NOT UNTIL SHE DOES SOMETHING TERRIBLE, SOMETHING THAT PAINS THEM INSTEAD. WHY DOES THIS ALWAYS HAVE TO HAPPEN, WHY?!WHY IS EVERYTHING ALWAYS LIKE THIS? NO ONE STAYED, THEY'LL END UP FORGETTING HER OR HATING HER!NOT EVEN HER - father...?He wouldn't approve of this. He w-would never approve of her d-doing this... no..What did she do...? No.. please...

She didn't do this...She didn't do this. They killed themselves, for one last attempt to hurt her. One last attempt.

It was done. That's fine, it's none of her problem after all.

. . .
Everything was sickeningly quiet.  It was - dark. Past midnight, most likely. A quick meeting in the orphanage - the place where they were brought up together. Though... it had long been forgotten and abandoned. The orphanage itself still seemed to be in great shape, the walls have barely started to crumble and the roof was still intact.

She was currently standing in the middle of the hallway. A long, white hallway, with doors at specific intervals and on both sides. Those were the bedrooms. She remembers running down this hallway, being chased by her older 'siblings'.  It was once was a place filled with laugher and chatter - and now it was replaced with darkness and silence. White walls seemed to stretch beyond sight - or was it just how dim this place was that caused her to feel like that?

Lilin looked around her. It was... a bloody mess. The smell of blood - overwhelmingly metallic - wafted through the air. The bodies of those people - those who have wronged her, and caused their own demise - laid peacefully in pools of the icky red substance. She's going to be here for a while, cleaning all this up.
