Unknown menace

I was just doing the same thing, searching for herbs and flowers to sell to the flowerist and the herb specialist. I was keeping my things in the bag, then the mask then suddenly asked, “Hello, may I ask, I have been wondering where you gotten your bag. I have been wanting to ask but it kept slipping past my mind somehow,” I answered “I just found it in the room when I woke up, after the gang raided the Moze’t,” The mask then replied with a surprised sound and continued with saying that it thought it would be something special.

When I was walking around the town, I heard rumours about there being a murderer or assassin who murders people without making a sound. There was a report where the body was only found 2 or 3 days later judging by the body that was already roting. They said that if you get caught within his clutchus, you might as well start praying. I didn’t think much of it, since it was a rumour after all, but I was aware since it wasn’t 100% false as well.

I then continued to travel further to search for more valuable herbs and maybe search for something that may worth a lot of Loct. I was busy picking up some herbs, then out of no where, I got shot with a bullet and it was in my right arm, but I still was dead so I couldn’t feel the pain, I could just tell the wound was there. I didn’t even hear a gun shot, I turned around and I didn’t see anyone. I was starting to think if this is the same type as magic as the mayor, but it didn’t add up to not hearing a gun shot.

I got another bullet stuck in my right arm again, the bullet came out of no where again. I turned around and see the enemy, he wasn’t holding a gun or anything. He somehow shot another bullet that I barely blocked. The man then asked “How are you not already dead?” He then continued “I already shot your artery, you should be bleeding and on the verge of dying,” I thought to myself that its a good thing I was dead, even though I didn’t know if its actually good. The man then threw bullet onto the ground, but he somehow dropped the bullets that they were all positioned towards me on the ground.

He then snapped his fingers and then all the bullets started to shot in the direction that it was pointing at. All the bullets came it, I had to use my shadow manifestation and good thing I had 5 of them or not it would have been...well not pain, but just, I would have been filled with bullets. I wasn’t sure what he did, but again I had to guess. He either have the ability to control metal or the bullet itself or something even more scary, he can move anything, but least likely. The enemy then said, “Looks like you are strugling to figure out what I can do, let me tell you since you seemed to have been the only that somehow survived all my shots. My ability is to store potential energy into objects and release it whenever I want,” That made much more sense.

The enemy then continued “Well is that infomation even useful to you?” I then continued to rush him. My shadow manifestation came out and I attacked him. I had to give it to him, he somehow dodged all of attacks, he has high physical attributes, I can tell. I had one good hit on him, but it didn’t seem to damage him. He then said “Amazing, you are also the first person to hit me, I will award you, with death that is,” I thought to my self, does he not know that I am dead? I thought he already knew since I took a shot in the artery and also in my right arm. He later took out a manifestation of his magic, so he does have a level 3 magic. So both of us had the same level magic. This ought to be challenging. He seemed to be experienced in fighting.

Both of the magic manifestations went head on on a barrage of fists, which I was surprised he could catch up since I had 5 arms, his maigc manifestation was a like an extension of himself, I guess it doesn’t break the rule of the magic level, despite being a somewhat humanoid form. During the barrage of manifestation of physical magic, I suddenly heard something, probably my mask, said something “Magic evolved complete : Level 4 gained, new ability unlocked, ability is ______,” I was curious to how useful can that new ability be.
