0- The Seven Deadly Sins & The Seven Heavenly Virtues

I’m an otaku so I read many Light Novels, but I always ask myself.

Why do the protagonists’ be following the Seven Heavenly Virtues?, and why do the antagonists’ be following the Seven Deadly Sins?

Maybe you don’t understand so I’ll make some examples.

Don’t you think that there are many hikikomori in the world, and Especially they be teenagers? And when they sometimes leave the home and see a couple holding each other's hands, or flirting with each other. He stares at them with his eyes saying “why you, you who live normal that happy, and me not!!!? Did I do something wrong, why cannot I take your place. Why is it you, not me? I want to have lovers, and parents care for me. I want to have everything”

Envy and Greed.

Or a person who always does his club activities without taking a rest, and his parents force him to attend the school even if he is sick or soon will die. And then he runs away from home and rents an apartment, and all that he does. Sleep, reading manga, reading light novels, watching TV, and other laziness.

Sloth.

I think you understood. The seven deadly sins are: greed, sloth, envy, pride, gluttony, lust, and wrath.

The seven heavenly Virtues are: chastity, temperance, charity, diligence, patience, kindness, and humility.

For me the people who follow the seven heavenly virtues don't survive easily, but maybe they are the people who enter heaven.

There’s always people who have two sides. The dead sins, and the heaven virtues. Normally, the people are more dead sins. This is what I think.

Now you try to remember the memories with your best friends. See, almost many people will remember the bad things, not the good.

The bad is seven deadly sins, and the good is seven heavenly virtues.

To avoid these bad people, the government of Japan created a city named “Neon”, ro wait. City? I think calling it an island is better.

It’s a place surrounded by water. Don’t worry, this island is not like you imagine forests, mountains, or something like this.

It is normal, seeing it like seeing a normal city. The island is even the same size as the normal cities.

And I got a message about living there in one of the dorms.

I live in Tokyo, and don’t have any way of getting money, and other things. I heard that the system of money, system of education, etc. is different from usual, which made me excited to see it, and then I accepted and made the contract.

And from tomorrow. February 1, I’ll start my new life there.
