Chapter-2 A new world

" How long are you guys going to keep staring outside the window?"

"I was just looking back on how things would have gone if it weren't for you guys rescuing us from the Bloodened captain. By the way, we haven't introduced ourselves yet. I am Adam, and this is Go Tanaka."

"I am the vice captain of this ship, Diana Quinn. I am an official wanderer registered at the Wanderer HQ"

" This still doesn't feel real, all these wanderers, our planet getting destroyed by the Bloodend civilisation, what do you say, Adam-Kun?" 

"Yes, it definitely feels like something out of a webnovel, but the reality of things is that our planet has been destroyed, and our families are dead. Only 5 people from Earth are alive, Go-Kun"

"It is indeed very unfortunate that our planet has been destroyed, but we are also fortunate enough to be rescued, right, boys?"

"Who are you?, Are you one of the 5 people that were rescued from Earth?" asked Adam

"Yes, I am one of the girls who was fortunate enough to be rescued by these wanderers. My name is Lyra Mendez."

"There were 3 boys and 2 girls that we rescued from Earth: Adam, Tanaka Go, and Lyra Mendez. You three are not seriously wounded, but the other 2 are getting treated by our team right now. It is not life-threatening, so need to worry. You guys should take a rest, it must be hard after you went through all of that"

Adam, Tanaka, Go, and Lyra Mendez sit in the common area on the spaceship and talk about each other's lives before the invasion took place.

" My team finished treating the two people who were seriously injured. They are awake now. You can go talk to them if you want," said Diana Quinn.

"Let's go, Lyra-san and Go-kun"

The three of them go to visit the last two people rescued from Earth.

"wh-where am I? am I in a hospital?" Who are you guys?" 

You tell them what's going on, and they are shocked to hear about all the events that took place in such a short time.

"My name is Miles Carter"

"And I am Riya Patel"

All 5 of them are still talking about how they were rescued and about the mysterious power that these wanderers were using, and were becoming very good friends despite all the trauma these guys went through.

"Looks like you guys are getting along well and seem to be healthy. Ah, my bad, I forgot to introduce myself. I am Bolt Vex, the captain of the ship, and my wanderer rank is captain. I was the one who sliced the head of the Bloodened Captain."

" Thank you very much for saving us, Captain Bolt," replied Riya-san

"There is nothing to thank me for. We noticed that the bloodied civilisation was about to plan something big again, so we kept an eye on them. As soon as we realised that they were invading your planet, we informed the HQ, but it was too late to send reinforcements from the HQ they ordered us to save any remaining survivors and bring them back to the HQ. I am sorry that we couldn't do more than this"

"There is no need to be sorry, Captain. We are thankful that you managed to save the 5 of us," said Adam.

" We have so many questions to ask you, Captain Bolt. Can you please answer them for us?" asked Lyra-san

"I know you have many questions to ask, but I am not allowed to answer any questions until the HQ approves of you guys. As soon as you get to the HQ, everything will be explained to you in detail. The only thing I can say for now is that the HQ is located in the centre of the Universe. We will reach the HQ in 32 hours. Please rest until then."

"Alright, Captain Bolt, we will rest just like you ordered," said Adam  

The 5 survivors have a nice chat and bond over the 32 hours they spend together, and become very good friends. 

"We will arrive at the Wanderer Main HQ in 10 minutes. Please be Ready"- Announcement

"Are you guys ready and excited to enter a new world?" Adam asked with excitement

"Of course, we are", everyone replied in unison

As the spacecraft's main entrance opened, they were welcomed on an artificial planet created just for the Wanderers HQ, where there were different types of people from various civilisations. The majority of the population looked like human beings with small variations to their limbs, hair, teeth, or skin colour and the size of their bodies. while some were looking totally different, like they used to show in the sci-fi movies.

"This looks so advanced, just like in the fantasy movies, right, Adam-Kun?" said Go-Kun

"Yeah, Go-kun, everything looks so advanced with all the flying cars, flying trains. Robots are doing the repairs to cars, robots are selling goods, everything is so automated." Said Miles-kun

"If you guys are shocked after seeing this much, what will you guys do when you learn about the cosmic powers?" said Captain Bolt

"Cosmic powers? Is that the mysterious power that the bloodend were using?" Lyra-san asked with curiosity

"You will get to know after you reach the HQ This is just the area where people live and sell their goods or run stores to make a living. The huge building you see in the exact centre of this city on this small planet is the main HQ. Let's not delay any further and visit the Headquarters."
