Fifteen: Emptiness

Albert quietly escaped from his prison, carefully waiting for his food to arrive. "Looks like I'm waiting for dinner to try to escape here," said Albert who did the action, "Please, enjoy it," said the guard, then Albert asked carefully, "Can I go to the bathroom?"

"Yes, but you have to finish your food first so I can go to the bathroom," said the guard. Albert had to finish his meal first, then called the guard again and said, "Officer, I'm done eating. May I go to the bathroom?"

The officer asked, "Yes, but don't stay too long, okay?" Albert hurried to the bathroom carefully with another officer who would guard Albert. "You guard him, okay?" said the officer, then another officer said, "Okay, sir." In that cell, there were many cases similar to Albert's, there were people who killed their wives because their wives were having an affair with other men, serial murder cases that raised concerns about the killer, there were people who were addicted to illegal drugs that were not authorized by the government, and so on.

He had to be careful because there was an officer guarding him from behind to prevent him from escaping. Albert went into the bathroom and he told the officer to guard the bathroom. "You stay here, I'm afraid there's something suspicious in this area," then the officer said, "Okay, I'll wait."

Albert entered the bathroom to block out any movement around him. He noticed an empty air vent and proceeded cautiously. "Oh no, there's a bolt too. How am I going to get out of this?"

Albert felt confused because the ventilation was apparently locked so he had to ask the officer, "Excuse me, do you have a screwdriver?" then the officer said “for what?” He then said, "Here, the pipe is loose. I need to fix it." The officer said, "Okay, you'll have to wait."

Unknowingly, the officer was taking the screwdriver, then the officer came while bringing the screwdriver to Albert. “Here’s the screwdriver,” Albert said, “okay, thanks, oh yeah, you have to guard here, okay?” Then the officer said, “Okay, don’t take too long, okay?” Then he said again, “Yeah, it won’t take long, just a moment.”

Albert immediately rushed to open the ventilation carefully, while the officer asked another officer. “Is Albert still in the bathroom?” The officer said, “Yes, it looks like it’s being repaired, it looks like there’s a leak or there’s a problem with the pipe” and he said, “Hmm… why don’t you call a repairman for a leaking pipe?” Then he said again, "He said he could do it himself."

Albert immediately panicked, as an officer tried to enter. "Oh my, what should I do? I haven't even opened the door yet." Albert was worried that he would be caught trying to escape. *toktoktook* The sound of knocking on the door was heard outside the bathroom and the officer suddenly entered, without thinking, Albert immediately opened the ventilation in a hurry.

But outside there were people fighting in the dining area, the officer went to calm the prisoners down as quickly as possible and Albert crept in carefully because the ventilation had a winding and winding direction and he was confused about which way to go out.

"How do I get out, it's like a maze," said Albert, confused, while trying to find a way out of the Frozen Mountains. At the same time, there was an officer waiting for Albert, he was confused whether he was finished or not. “Sir, is it finished?” said the guard, without thinking the guard opened the door and, "Sir, are you finished yet... Why didn't you hear me? Maybe I should go in so you can see." The officer entered the bathroom and... (Sorry, I'm not running out of ideas :0)

*kreeekk...* The door opened and the officer was surprised that Albert wasn't in there and the officer had been fooled by Albert himself, "Huh? Why isn't he here? I felt like he was here." The officer was confused because Albert had run away and he forgot that the ventilation was open. "Hey?" The officer was confused as to why the ventilation was open and the bolts were lying on the toilet floor, then the officer used the walkie talkie and, “Sir, Albert has escaped, the entire squad is to catch him now.” then his subordinate answered, "Ready, sir." The officer called the police to search for Albert.

Albert hurried into the ventilation shaft, just as the alarm sounded, signaling that one of the criminals had escaped from the cell. The police were on duty to find Albert as quickly as possible.

"Ah, that deaf person was so quick to get caught, looks like we have to hurry up, we're afraid of getting caught again," said Albert, who was angry and immediately moved quickly to escape from the prison.
