Sixteen: Forbidden Hope Letter

After winding his way through the hosting, he finally made his way out to the service room. "I think I have to hide," Albert was confused until he found an empty box big enough for him. "Finally, I found it. I have to hide here so I don't get caught." Albert hid in an empty cardboard box to trick the officer.

Suddenly, a repairman came in for a break, and he quickly killed him. Albert peered out from the room, and *tekk* the cleaning man was killed on the spot, his body stuffed into the empty box. Albert immediately put on his service uniform, and his clothes went into the box along with the body. Albert immediately grabbed his tools and looked for the door Bima had given him a few days earlier.

The cleaning man entered the service room and called him back to work. "Sir, is your break over?"

Albert said in a heavy voice, "Y-yes, it's done, sir."

"Okay, let's get back to work," the officer said, and he said, "Ready, sir."

Albert immediately followed the officer, looking for a way out. Suddenly, the officer sprang into action, searching for the escaped prisoner, who was none other than Albert himself.

"What's wrong, sir?" said the officer, then Albert, who was in disguise, said, "It's okay, what's wrong?"

"It's nothing, you're new here so I'm the one who helped fix the pipe. Oh yeah, my name is Samuël, I'm the boss here. You're Troy, right?" The officer, whose name was Samuël, and Albert, who was disguised as Troy, asked, "Yes, sir, what's the problem with the pipe?"

"So, there's a broken pipe in the sink. It's old and wasteful, so it needs to be fixed," Samuel said, walking toward the men's restroom where Albert escaped. He asked, "Can you still fix it?"

“It’s still being repaired,” Samuel immediately went into the men’s toilet and started repairing it. Albert, who hadn’t been noticed, only helped him look for a new pipe in the service room.

"Please get a new pipe from the warehouse near the service room," Samuël said. Albert, playing Troy, said, "Okay, I'll get it."

Albert was worried about being caught and fainted, feeling guilty. The police approached him and asked, "Where is one of the prisoners named Albert?"

“Oh, I think he’s going that way,” Albert was immediately scared and almost made his real voice and the police immediately went that way. Albert panicked and immediately took a new pipe before they found out.

While in the warehouse, Albert found a new pipe and at the same time one of the police officers named Kän came and said, “Excuse me sir, do you know one of our prisoners, Albert?” Then Albert, pretending to be Troy, said, "Nothing, sir. I think you saw wrong."

Kän was suspicious of Troy's behavior, but Kän left, confused. "Okay, you can go there, but if he's there, just go straight away," Kän said, and left.

"Huh, luckily he didn't get caught. Okay, he must be waiting for me," Albert said, his face pale with fear.

When he arrived in the men's restroom, Kän came in and spoke to Samuël. Albert immediately asked with concern what he was doing.

“Here’s the pipe, sir,” Albert said hurriedly, then he replied, “Oh, thank you. By the way, why are you in such a hurry? Are you sick?” Samuël was confused when he saw Albert disguised as Troy, panicked and almost peed his pants.

Albert immediately went to the restroom to take a break. "I need to go to the bathroom, I can't hold it in anymore." then he said, “Oh, okay, please.” Samuël allowed him to go to the toilet for a moment.

Albert entered the toilet with a face full of sweat, making him worried that Kän, who was asked by Samuël, knew that Albert was pretending to be a repairman here. The anxiety that Albert experienced made him think hard about leaving the Northern Border Fortress.

“This looks like it’s going to be bad,” Albert immediately had an idea to get out of here, he held back his fear and got out with lots of small stones that he was carrying.
