CHAPTER-8 Lightning Rabbit

One year has passed since Adam-Kun started training his Star Severer Sword Art and Spiritual Dominion Manipulation Art.

" Adam-Kun, it has not been long since I started to train you, but you have mastered the level 1 of all the Secret Arts I have taught you. It took me 5 years to master level 1 of all the secret arts. You have more Talent than I, Adam-Kun. Perhaps you will be able to reach the Fifth level of these secret arts."

"Sensei, do you mean that you haven't reached the 5th stage in any of the secret arts you taught me?"

"Haaa!, Adam-Kun, I was not that I couldn't reach it. An unfortunate event took place because of which I couldn't reach the fifth stage," Goro-Sensei said in disappointment

"What was that Unfortunate event, Goro-sensei?"

"If you remember, 3 years ago, I said that I would tell you everything once you finished my training. Today is that day, Adam-Kun, but before I tell you what happened, I want to test you to see how much you have improved. Your test is to kill that rank 2 lightning rabbit and bring me its cosmic core as proof."

"Yes, Sensei, I am ready for the rematch between me and that lightning rabbit," says Adam-Kun confidently.

After Adam leaves for the restricted zone of the forest to find the lightning rabbit, Goro-sensei starts coughing up blood and faints on the ground.

" Where could the lightning rabbit be hiding? I am already deep into the Restricted zone. Why does it smell so bad here?"

As Adam-Kun kept moving forward, the smell got worse. After walking around, Adam found the dead body of a cosmic beast. Upon closer inspection, he recognised it as the dead body of Solmane, a peak rank 3 fire elemental cosmic beast.

"From the wound marks on the solmane's dead body, it looks like it was the lightning rabbit's work. It must have evolved into a rank 3 cosmic beast; otherwise, there is no way a rank 2 cosmic beast could kill another rank 3 cosmic beast. It must be hiding to recover after its battle with the solmane."

Adam realises that there were traces of Lightning elemental cosmic power leading deeper into the restricted zone. Adam follows the cosmic power traces.

" There it is, the lightning rabbit. Look at how peacefully it's sleeping after killing the solmane, it's my turn to make sure you don't wake up from that sleep again, you little bastard," he thought to himself

Adam uses his manipulation art to transform his cosmic power into Rocky elemental, as it has high resistance to lightning element and good defence. he jumps at the lightning rabbit, trying to finish everything with one move of Star Severer Sword Arts, but the Lightning rabbit's reactions were too quick, it was barely able to escape Adam's Star Severer Sword art with a minor injury.

"You were able to react to that move, huh? Looks like I underestimated you too much, Lightning rabbit. I was not using my cosmic power to enhance myself and was only using the cosmic tempering Art. That won't be the case anymore. Now I will take you seriously."

Adam enhances his body, which was already enhanced through the cosmic tempering art, further with lightning elemental cosmic power. Adam quickly flashes right by the lightning rabbit and slices the rabbit into two halves.

"That is the end for the lightning rabbit. It might have been troublesome if the rabbit hadn't already fought with the solmane and wasted its exhausted. Now I have to take its cosmic core."

Adam slices through the lightning rabbit's dead body and finds a cosmic core full of lightning elemental cosmic powers.

" After I show this to Goro-sensei, I will consume this core and absorb all this cosmic power to advance my cosmic tempering art to a further level, hahahah."

As Adam walks back to their camp in the forest, He sees a person lying down near the camp. He soon realises that it was Goro-Sensei and rushes towards him.
