The Way To Faye

The sun had just come out and the snow was melting. Winter was slowly coming to an end. 

Caitrin was sitting on the terrace, slowly sipping a hot tea with a blanket on her back. After the creature incident, she was exhausted. But the thoughts didn't stop bothering her.

*The path we followed was quite dangerous and also quite cold. And we barely escaped from some situations. But I'm glad we finally got the creature back to his family.*

Then she looked at Orano who was helping the village and said to herself,

"I can't understand how he can be so energetic, even after dealing with Creature problems. "

Then she said,

"But I have to hand it to him, even though we were in a dangerous situation, he helped me. I guess I made a pretty quick decision about what he was like."

And when she was full of thoughts, Mai approached her and called out to her,

"Caitrin!"

She got out of her thoughts and replied to her,

"Huh! Oh, sorry! I was just thinking about something."

Mai smiled and said,

"Your armor and bag are inside. I cleaned them for you. You can take them whenever you want."

"Thank you, Miss Mai. I hope we haven't been a burden to you."

"Absolutely not! You helped me and my village, so take this as a return of your favor."

And while they were talking Orano approached them and said,

"Are you ready to go?"

"Yes, I am ready. Where are we going next?" Caitrin replied.

"We have a lot of things to do. But first, let's revisit the contact center for the letter. And see if he replied or not."

Caitrin got up, took her stuff from inside, and got out again. 

And when they slowly walked towards the exit, Mai waved at them and shouted,

"Thank you two again! Come back anytime you want!"

"Okay!" Caitrin shouted back.

And they left the Frostford Village.

And after walking the same way they have walked, they reached The Contact Center once more.

Orano took the letter and started reading it while walking. 

While he was reading, Caitrin asked,

"What does he say?"

But after reading the letter for a couple of seconds, Orano's facial expression changed into a very surprised one.

"A second one?"

"A second one? What do you mean?"

Then he put the letter in his bag and started to walk rapidly,

Caitrin got confused and followed him. 

Then she said,

"Hey! What do you mean by "A Second One?" Did something bad happened?" 

"Looks like I am not the only one that has saw the rift." Orano replied.

Caitrin remembered and said,

"But I saw it too. What is wrong with that?"

Orano got surprised once again and said,

"Wait. Can you see it too?"

"Yes, but this bothers you this much?" She replied as she looked at him with confusion.

Then Orano said,

"While I was reading the books about the Rift with my friend, It said that only a few people can see it. That is why we searched it for so long. But the reason for it being this rare to see is never explained in the books. So it's really interesting that the three of us see the rift now."

"But we only saw the rift right? Does this means something bad is going to happen?"

"I don't know yet. We don't know anything about how the rift works, or what does it do. We are just searching for them because it is the only evidence we got."

"What do you mean by evidence?"

Then she remembered and said,

"Oh! Right! Why are you even searching for the rift anyways?"

"I will explain it to you later. Let's just find a ship to travel Faye." Orano replied.

" "Later" again?"

She then sighed and said,

"Okay fine, lead the way."

And when they started walking again, she said to herself,

*I guess I am not going to be able to learn what he is going to do for a long time.*

And after Orano and Caitrin got their ticket for the ship, they found a hotel and spend the rest of the night there.

They were ready to go to bed, but then Caitrin sat on her bed and said,

"Frostford village was tiring. I am happy that winter is finally ending and we are leaving Aetas. I hope we don't deal with creatures once again."

"Actually we are going to." Orano replied.

Then Caitrin said sarcastically,

"I knew you would say that."

"But Faye is getting protected by much more people, so it is safer than other kingdoms. If we can travel to the capital city of Faye, "Lavinia", safely, we can upgrade our equipment and we can buy more potions from there."

Caitrin then turned her head towards Orano and asked,

"Talking about Faye. You were talking about seeing a view on the rift, Where did you see?"

"It showed Faye. The first Rift I saw wasn't so clear, so I wasn't sure. But I am sure on this one. It showed "Nethilor", a city of Faye, that I have gone to before."

He then turned to her and said,

"You must have seen something since the Rift was visible to you too."

She looked at the ceiling and said,

"I saw somewhere very luxurious. Since I didn't saw anywhere except Ravaryn, I have no idea."

She then held her necklace and said,

"But it might have something to do with the necklace. Maybe I can sell it there."

"I don't think you can sell it there. It might be even dangerous for you." Orano replied.

"Why? Are there dangerous creatures or bad people there?"

"No, but it's not a place that likes people like us."

He then laid down on his bed and said,

"Enough of talking. We have to travel as fast as possible to Faye tomorrow. So get your sleep well."

Caitrin then said sarcastically,

"At the end, you were talking about something interesting but you even interrupted that too."

But after Orano gave her a look, She sighed and said,

"Okay, okay. Goodnight to you too."

They laid down on the bed as usual. 

But they both couldn't sleep again and thoughts covered their minds.

At sunrise, Caitrin woke up and looked around. She saw Orano picking up his stuff.

So she said,

"Hey, what are you doing?"

Orano turned to her and replied,

"So you are awake early."

He took his bag from the ground and added,

"Come on, we are going."

Caitrin looked at him with sleepy eyes and a sarcastic look and said,

"Are you serious?"

"I bought tickets for the early hours, so have to get going now."

He then looked at her and said,

"Come on we have a ship to catch in ten minutes."

She sighed deeply and said,

"Can't I just rest for once?"

Then Caitrin gathered her stuff and they left the house. Then they made their way to the ship. 

Since it was early hours there weren't many people around. It was either authorized people cleaning around or people who just woke up.  And after walking for a bit, they finally reached the ship and got inside. Then they found the room that they have booked and started resting there.

Orano said,

"We have a day and a half to reach Saricha, so we can just rest for now."

Caitrin grumbled with her face pressed against the bed,

"Uh-huh."

Then a day passed and they finally reached Sarichia. Then they left the ship slowly.

Caitrin took a deep breath and said,

"Ah! Finally, we are in Faye!"

"Come on, we have to visit the town." Orano replied.

She followed her and they have reached the town after walking for fifteen minutes.

And while walking in the town, Caitrin said,

"Does Sarichia have places to visit?"

"It does have feasts and events that happen occasionally, but It doesn't have anything special like Lavinia."

Her expression turned into a disappointed one once more and she said,

"We are going to wait for there too, huh?"

She then looked around and said,

"I understand it's not lively as Lavinia, but is it normal for no one to be around here?"

There was nowhere around except Orano and Caitrin. It was just like everybody decided to move to another city. And even they walked through the town, there was no sound either they saw somebody. 

Then they stopped and looked around. 

While Caitrin was looking at a little Mask counter, Orano opened his Zon Device and tried to contact Yuma.

Soon enough Yuma opened his device and started talking with him,

"So you have finally arrived at Saricha. That is great, I was just about to travel Lavinia."

"When we arrive at Lavinia too, I will contact you since we can meet up there."

"We? Is somebody with you?"

"I will explain it to you whenever I can. Now I have to go."

"Alright then, take care."

After their conversation, Caitrin yelled at Orano and said,

"Hey! Tatsumi! Look at this cool mask!"

But when he was looking at her, he felt a vibration under the ground and stopped for a moment.

Then the vibration happened again.

It was coming from down below.

He said to himself,

"It can't be!"

Then he raised his head towards Caitrin and shouted,

"Caitrin! Get away from there!"

Then he started running at him.

Caitrin looked around to what he was worried about. 

Then she saw the Giant Snake coming towards them from the beginning of the road and it was coming towards them at a high speed.

Fortunately, Orano made it in time, pushed her to the wall by holding her, and waited for the Creature to go away.  And since the creature couldn't stop because of its speed, it continued down the road.

Caitrin then asked scared,

"What was that?"  

"It was a "Pyron"." Orano replied.
