NOMED POSSESSION

At some point, during the fight, demons had stopped regenerating, leaving a mess of black gloop. Sen gasped for air, leaning against his scythe. Ren walked closer to the shield; he was about to speak, but Sen raised his index finger. Ren realised that he was asked to stay silent, and he obliged.

The gloop began vibrating, slowly moving in the same direction. The slithering fastened, combining into an enormous monstrous being with a pentagon sigil carved over its chest. 

Now, WE will SEH who wiLL WIN.

An unharmonious blend of multiple voices echoed. The creature laughed and howled. Its numerous glowing eyes blinked in a discordant manner. 

Sen straightened up, tightening his grip on the scythe. He paused when the glow in their eyes began flickering.
He abruptly turned to Ren, yelling, "Tell Nami to deactivate her powers; they are trying to—"
"We already took over, the Nomed girl." Nami stepped out of the tent. She played with her gelatine-pink hair, smirking at Sen.

Sen's eye twitched, pulling on his hair, "What the f*ck is wrong with you, pathetic piece of—"

The demons burst in a chorus of laughter.

Sen took a step towards the shield.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you." Nami's gel-like hair, flattened into normal. She chuckled, walking out of the shield. "Oh Sen, better not let your guard down."

Sen turned towards the demon monster; it whacked Sen, throwing him afar. Sen got up, attacking the demon, but as soon as his eyes fell on Namis, he was again thrown away.

Ren stood still, watching Sen's desperation.
Should I help him, the guy who killed me?
But he is also the guy who saved me...

Ren closed his eyes. He took a few deep breaths and ran out of the shield.
He grabbed Nami and tried pulling her back in. But she didn't even budge.
"Nami, snap out of it!" He grabbed her shoulders, softly shaking her. 
"What a pain~" She grabbed Ren's collar and pulled him closer. Her eyes glowed red, her canines elongated. She was about to bite him, but a sigil formed between them, blasting Nami away.

"You trash, I will kill you!" Sen yelled while dodging the monster. 
"Sorry, sorry, I won't hurt her!" Jacksaw yelled back, stepping out of the shield.
Jacksaw walked to Ren. "Newbie, you are hella weak. Next time we aren't letting Riley be the newbie guide, or is it just you?" 
Ren looked at Jacksaw; he quickly diverted his eyes to the ground.

Nami got up; her hair became gelatine. 
"W-will I get attracted again?" Ren tried his best not to look at her.
"Nah, the curse I did on you lasts for a week." Jacksaw took a step in front of Ren.

Nami's body was suddenly glowing. She smiled at them and waved them bye.
The sand beneath their feet began to slide. Around Ren and Jacksaw long cuspids emerged, moving towards them.
A sigil formed beneath them, lifting the two into the air. 
From within the sand, a long centipede emerged. It rose to reach them, but the sigil moved up until the centipede collapsed onto the ground.

"Ren, you stay here; it's a matter of time before others will wake up." He sighed and jumped down. 
Ren looked down, but due to the height, he felt dizzy. He curled up in the middle of the sigil.
"Why am I completely useless..." 

He noticed a light; he looked towards it. It was a blue moon amidst the stars.
"Huh, it wasn't there before." 
There was a long sheet of a paper-like curtain in front of it. The sigil had carried him at a height where seeing the curtain and moon was possible.
"Weird, why are they covering the moon..." Ren scratched his head.

"Who knows..." 

Ren gasped; there was a black-haired man sitting next to him. Ren tried to move away, almost falling off the sigil. But the man grabbed him.
"Aha, no worries, I am a Star Awesome member." 
Ren tried to escape, "I am not falling for—"

Ren remembered his first day, the photos and the man who seemed to have gained invisibility. 
"I am Alexander." He pulled up his sleeve; there was a batch similar to Ren's. "Demons can never imitate this batch, so I am not lying."

Ren clenched, looking away. "I—I can't believe you yet."
Alexander chuckled, "Fair enough..."

The two sat quietly up on the sigil. The uproar down was completely inaudible. The silence haunted Ren more, as he was still unsure about Alexander.
"Ren—" Alexander spoke softly.

"I didn't tell you my name?" Ren once again almost fell off.
"Oh, silly, I can read minds; that's no big of a deal." Alexander chuckled in an exaggerated manner. Abruptly he stopped laughing. "Well, I realised you aren't able to use your powers; may I assist you?"

Ren stared at him with a deadpan look. "No, thank you."
"Whyyyyyyyy??" Alexander whined.
"I aint trusting a man who randomly showed up here, was an ex-member and can read minds....I am better than that." Ren sighed, scooting away from Alexander.
"But let me help!" Alexander scooted closer.

"WHAT CAN YOU DO!?" Ren yelled. 

*THUMP*

Suddenly darkness surrounded him. Ren felt his body rise, and then there was a sudden fall. Alexander's voice echoed.

YOU SHOULD BE SICK OF BEING A WEAKLING

YOU PATHETIC EXCUSE OF AN EXISTENCE

STOP, STOP, STOP, STOP
The world became normal. Ren looked around at the covered moon; he was on a floating sigil, with Alexander sitting there. Ren gasped, his heart pounded, and he noticed his hands were translucent. 

"I read your mind and realised you activate your powers when your self-hatred reaches its peak." Alexander chuckled and got up. "Ren, if you need me, give me a call when you get your phone; my number will be there." 

Alexander's body began dispersing. "Oh, and I was keeping you on the sigil; you will fall off now. BYE BYE."

"What the..." As soon as Alexander disappeared, Ren slid out of the sigil and began falling. But his fall was slow, as if a feather were falling.
"O-oh, so I guess it's a matter of time before I land."

He finally reached the ground. 
Sen and Jacksaw were bleeding heavily, but they were still fighting.
Kaya, Nive, and a few unknown boys, along with a few unknown girls, had joined the fight.
There were numerous giant centipedes and many demonic beasts.

"How the hell did things get this bad?" Ren looked around.
Nami walked up to him from behind. "Because I took over the Nomed girl."
