What kind of a reaction was this...? Firstly, your pace is too fast, lacking character development, emotions and depth.
He just became too accepting all of a sudden. if you would say you wrote " it took time for him to adjust", then that wasn't enough; it still seems he was here for very long, character got no depth
plus he is reincarnated, right or is that what he thinks depends on how youll take the story? but she had papers with facility symbols right , why did he not think if he was actually not reincarnated and thats all a plan? Because how can such papers exsists here.....these are two different worlds......internal conflict......his mind becoming a mess .....questioning reality ...... were those days real.....what is right what is wrong......but ..... no deep thoughts are mentioned here
