"You should get some sleep, this spell doesn't remove the curse fully and your body will get very tired from it." The woman also looked very tired, but it's understandable since this took many hours.

"Thank you, but can I at least know your name?" I was already starting to feel tired. "I'm Domino."

"Sylphia." That was all she said, then she left.

I watched her as she closed the door, I must've fallen asleep pretty soon because I don't remember more after that.

I now woke up to a familiar smell; eggs, tea and burned toast. I was home! 
My room was just as I left it, my homework was laying at my black desk, the desk was a simple top and four legs. My bed was messy as always, my pillows were the usual grey color and the sheets were the ordinary white.
My wardrobe was open and my t-shirts, skirts, jeans and well, basically everything was hanging inside of it.
The floor had some things on it; some pencils, my sketch block and some books.
The book that I bought was at the foot of the bed, I picked it up and opened the first page but it was empty. The second page was too.
I can go eat breakfast and take a walk with Thillia. I thought.
Thillia was our dog, she was an Australian shepherd, the color blue merle.
I walked to the kitchen and the familiar smell made me so happy, I had a big smile when I walked in.

"And what are you so happy about? Zeph was making breakfast, he might not be that good but you can feel that the food is filled with love. "Wait, let me guess, ehh, you got a boyfriend?"

Zeph, my stepfather is working as a news reporter, many girls like him and he is really nice.
He has black hair, in a messy style when at home and but always formal when at work. He is basically the opposite when at work then at home; he wears costume at work and t-shirt and jeans when at home, I could probably say countless of things but you probably get it.

"Zeph!" I was kind off embarrassed since I confessed to my crush just the other day. "It's not like that!"

"No, no I believe you kid." Zeph was definitely kidding, I could both hear it and see it on him.

"Eh, whatever" I just ignored him.

"Then shall we eat!" Zeph was finished with the breakfast. "I'm starving!"

We started eating.

"You know, this is better than usual." I said, it actually were. "But the toast is still burned."

"The toast is better burned, don't you think?" Zeph answered, I guess that is just him.

"I don't think that's your real opinion, you just can't make toast without burning it" I said.

And then my phone called, my ringtone was a piano playing some music.

"Ugh... Who could be calling now?" I went and picked up the phone. "Hello, this is Domino."

"Hi girl! It's Crystal, can we meet in the park? She called without any notice.

"Ehh, can I bring Thillia?" I said, I was actually a little confused. "She needs to go for a walk anyways."

"That might not be the greatest idea." Crystal answered, she then quickly ended the call.

"Huh? Weird, well she's my friend."I said and well, it's true that everyone I know is kind of weird.   "Hey Zeph, I'm meeting some friends in the park."

"Okay sure, be back before dinner, otherwise give me a text." He answered, and I didn't plan for anytime later but who knows. "Oh, and don't too lovey dovey with your boyfriend.

"Well, I'll get going now" I took my things and left, I just ignored him. I mean, what can you do?

I live about one kilometer from the park, on my way there I pass five houses, they are all pretty big. 
The designs on the houses are modern, the typical big windows, at least one balcony, and since all the owners of the hoses were pretty rich there were a swimming pool in 3 of the backyards. Which, if I’m going to be honest, is really weird.

There were also two red cars that passed me, one red and one silver. I’m not very good with cars but they looked like plain cars to me.

Let me just say that even if I have been living with Zeph for my whole life, he got very famous just five years ago and I haven’t gotten used to anything yet.

Before I knew it, I was already at the park, Crystal wasn’t there but he was, Taera, the guy I just confessed to!
