THE PLOTTING

A blue opaque dome hovered above them, creating a protective separation between the Star Awesome members and the howling and wailing enemies around them.
They all exchanged glances which clearly read, 'how the hell did we end up like this.'

Most of them were sitting apart from a few. Nive stood amidst everyone trying to explain the situation they were about to face soon.

"Amanda will stay behind at the Kemetian tribe; we'll be attacking the Jambudh tribe." Nive announced, looking at the scorned faces of Star Awesome members, and he sighed, shaking his head. "C'mon, if you guys want to take your anger out on someone, it's Yuzuru." 

Everyone turned, glaring at Yuzuru, who sat behind Sen. Trying to hide behind his legs.
"We can still see you." The girl Nive scoffed. 

Sen took a step on the side, showing Yuzuru.
Yuzuru waved his hands. "Guys, I thought we should show how useful—"

"BOOOOOOOOO!" A girl with green hair booed and walked over to Yuzuru. She began pulling his hair.
"Owwwwww, Sen, help!!!" Yuzuru screamed.
Sen grabbed her hand, letting Yuzuru free. "Rose, you love fighting, so shouldn't you be happy?" 

"Yea, but I was being rude to him like everyone else." She shrugged and ran back to Kaya. 

Yuzuru gasped; he grabbed his shoulder. 
"Haha, is it me, or did it get cold suddenly? Haha..."
He got up, tilting his head. "Hey, Rose, I won't help you in the fight!"

"Huh? I don't need your help; I've got Dan, Lea and Kaya." She stuck out her tongue.

"Okay, enough for now." Nive sighed.

"U-um, I am new, so should I be fighting?" Ren raised his hand. His hand shivered.

"Don't worry, death isn't permanent for us." Sen smirked and took a step towards him. Ren took a step back. 

"Quit it, Sen." Yuzuru grabbed Sen's arm, pulling him back.
Sen stared at him; that broke Yuzuru into a cold tremor. Yuzuru let go of his arm; Sen finally smiled and leaned closer to Yuzuru. "Yeah, go on, protect your type." 
Yuzuru was too perplexed to even blush at the remark. He watched Sen walk away.

A portal opened, and from within Hiroto walked out, accompanied by Philomena, Damian and Shar.
A silent commotion stirred up in everyone; they were visibly tense with the stress of the inevitable fight. There was a heavy silence in the air.

Hiroto looked at everyone with a smile and took a step forward. "Everyone, thank you for agreeing to take the first lines in this war. Hopefully you guys won't die that quickly." 

There was once again a shift in everyone this time, a menacing one. Yuzuru hid his face as they whispered curses at him.

"We'll be taking down the shield that's surrounding you guys." Hiroto smiled.
"Let's go." Damian shouted.
"Hopefully you weaklings will survive." Shar chuckled while pointing at everyone.
"Shar, don't be mean." Philomena nudged him.

Hiroto raised his hand to snap his fingers.
"Wait!" Sen got up.
"What is it now?" Hiroto sighed, rubbing his brows. He straightened and smiled at him.

"Answer a few quick questions, Mr Bookwriter." Sen pointed at him.

"I am not obliged to, but what is it?" Hiroto sighed.

"This is the Jambudh territory, right?"

"yes"

"It's extremely dangerous; even teleporting us here was awfully difficult."

"yes"

"This dome cost lots of manoid, too."

"Yes."

"There are plenty of enemies out there waiting for us, since we have been in here for about an hour."

"yes"

"We'll be killed."

"Yes...I mean, yeah, pretty much."

Sen smirked, "Prince Carlos definitely plans to get us killed, huh?"

"Somewhat." Hiroto twirled his hair. "Can you do something about it...you are Sen, right? The maniac." 

Sen's eye twitched, and he clenched his fists, but Nive patted his shoulder, walking ahead. "Sen is good at plotting; let us devise a plan. We can't be killed right away." 

"I am not so su—" Hiroto smiled and was about to snap once again.
"NOOO!!" Everyone shouted.

Hiroto felt a gentle tug from behind.
"P-please let u-us..." Nami softly pulled Hiroto's sleeve from behind. "I-I am too scared to d-die." Her hand trembled as she let go of his sleeve.

"Fine." Hiroto stared at them. "I am off. Philomena, take down this dome as soon as you all are ready."

Nami walked over to Nile and Sen, who were whispering to each other. Yao joined the three too. For about half an hour they spent discussing. Some trembled in fear, while others laughed at them. Then finally, when they agreed on the plan, they turned to others.

"We are surrounded by tribesmen and demons... So we will be sending out a few of you guys first; don't disappoint the rest..." Nive glanced at everyone; they fidgeted. 

"We have been in here for a while, so we have no idea of what the situation is outside, so the approach is to stop those who are way too close to the dome." Yao glanced at the dome and looked at Sen.

"Philomena, open the dome slightly to let Shar out so he can freeze the ones who are too close to the dome." Sen pointed at Shar.

Shar got up and flipped his hair. "I don't freeze; I stop time..." 

"Same thing, Shar." Sen sighed. "As soon as that happens, Philomena, tell your poke-digi—I mean Damian—to thunderbolt everyone to the extent the weaker turn into ashes."

"B-but..." Philomena got up. "They'll die..."

"Otherwise we will," Sen spoke softly, while he directed his gaze at everyone. 

She pressed his lips and smiled. "Okay."

"Kaya, you erupt tornadoes, and Jacksaw, you cast a spell to escalate the extent." Nive patted Kaya's head and turned to Jacksaw. "And I will turn them to sand, as many as I can."

"Damn it, I wish I wasn't this useful all the time." Jacksaw went to Yuzuru, pressing him down. Ayu quickly snapped a few pictures.

Nami looked at Ayu, then Yuzuru, and mumbled. "Poor Yuzuru." She peeped at Sen. "W-when I was possessed, centipedic monsters kept emerging from underground. I think there are demons down there." 

Yao gently nudged her. "So you should control those demons; make sure they don't send up those centipedes." Sen gently shoved him back and came between the two. 

"And when they are all freaking out, I, Sen, Rose, Philomena, Damian, Shar, Sephora, Jacksaw, Yuzuru and Riley will attack them." Yao patted Sen as the latter took a step away from him. 

"What about the rest of us?" Vivian glanced at Nami then at Sen.

"When the area around the dome clears, we'll lower the dome, and the rest of you join in on the fight...you good with this, Ren?" Sen took a step closer to Ren.

Ren gulped and smiled nervously. "Y-yes..."

"Haha, the approval is here; let's start this and get over with this." Jacksaw chuckled.

Amanda stood outside her tent, with her sword in her hand. Mud huts were in rumbles; the oasis had dried in a couple of hours. Leaves and flowers were scattered all around but were lost in all the dust and sand. Even the bright sunny sky was overshadowed by the grime of war.

A portal appeared in front of her, and Hiroto walked up to her. "They are ready to fight; let's end this here so you can join them." 

Carlos came out of the tent; she sighed at him and turned to the other side. Walking out of the tent, she tightened her sword and leapt onto a cracked wall of a former hut.

She turned around to face Carlos and then her awaiting army. "I, heir to the throne, declare war on the Jambuh tribe for their crime." She raised her sword up. "Let's end this as fast as we can! W-we are strong, we are capable, we are, um... a-awesome...."

An uproar erupted in the army as they cheered for the princess. Amidst the uproar there were a few curious debaters.
"That's Princess Amanda, right? She has an older brother, doesn't she? 
"Yes, but the king made her, the bloodthirsty exterminator, the heir..."
"Why's she called that?" 

"Don't you know she wiped off the entire race of power takers?"

Hiroto glared at the curious gossipers and looked at Carlos, who paid no one any heed. Hiroto took a step ahead and looked at Carlos' face. He stared at Amanda as she continued shouting motivational phrases. Occasionally messing up her words. He seemed mesmerised.

"We will win and show them—um, never mind, you get the idea...I am charging ahead!" She shouted, finally giving up her speech, and jumped on the other side.
The general commanded the army to charge behind her.

Carlos smiled and looked at Hiroto. "I am glad no one sees what I see in her."
