UNDEAD

"I was scared for no good reason; we did this quite smoothly...." Ren stepped out of the dome as it vanished behind him.

"Yeah sure, wolfy..." Yuzuru sat at the side, trying to stop the bleeding from his head.

"Here." Jacksaw handed him the mud. His clothes were torn and had many blood stains.

"U-um, yeah, the plan was great, S-sen." He turned towards Sen.

Sen was busy massacring the dead bodies as if they would rise. Yao sat near Sen, applying mud to his arm.

"Hey, I want some mud..." Rose walked over to Yuzuru.
"What happened to you?" Yuzuru glared at her.
"Ahaha, you see, I haha, um, lost an arm...." Rose lifted her shoulder with the missing arm.

"Serves you right..." He continued applying mud.

Ren trembled and walked closer to her.
Rose looked at him. "AHHHHH, THIS HURTS, NEW GUY, GET ME THAT MUD!!!" She dropped down on the ground, wailing dramatically. 

He quickly looked at Yuzuru and tried to snatch the mud, but Yuzuru tightened his grip.
"NO, NOT WASTING IT ON HER..." 

"Ren, she can regenerate; she is overacting..." Jacksaw whacked her.
"Ow!" She glared at Jacksaw and growled. From her arm, nerves and vessels erupted out, while the muscles formed. Finally wrapped with skin. She smiled, looking at her arm, and leapt onto Jacksaw.

Jacksaw sat down next to Yuzuru and applied mud to the scars on his face.
"Feitsy..." Yuzuru chuckled. 

Ren looked around while everyone applied mud over their wounds. His pupils dilated as he felt something approaching. His ears tickled as he heard the shifting of sand under footsteps.

"Aww, did the wolfie boi hear that before...?" A soft voice came from his side, "Hehe..." *phuu*

"Eeeek..." Ren covered his ear, backing away from him. "Why did you do that?" 

A brown-haired boy stood there. He smirked, running his fingers past his shoulder-length hair. At the top of his head, a pair of pointy conical ears flickered back and forth. A bushy tail swayed behind him.

Ren's eyes darted along the moving tail. "A-are you a f-fox?"

"I am Cero..." He smiled and looked in the direction of the sound Ren had sensed earlier. "Wolfie, can you tell how many people are approaching us?"

Ren tried to concentrate but couldn't make out the exact numbers. "N-no?"

Cero snickered, slowly getting behind Ren, his tail brushing against Ren's chin. "There are three of them and maybe one more which isn't touching the ground..." 

"Cero, aha, don't mess with Ren..." Riley poked Cero's cheek and stepped in front of them. 

"And amongst the walking ones, two of them might be women..." He moved away from Ren and walked away from him, taking slow steps.

"How does he know...?" Ren looked at Riley.

"That fox is a womaniser." Riley chuckled and grabbed Ren. "Let's move back; we'll be facing stronger enemies now."

Since the previous dome had disappeared, they decided to form rows, with the stronger and more experienced individuals at the front and the weaker ones at the back.
They knew three people were surely coming along with one uncertain one.

Far from them, the sand rose and, like a ripple of a wave, went past them. Everything settled and calmed down.

"What was that?" Yuzuru yelled and looked around. He noticed one of the tribesman's body shifts. "I think that man was alive; he called backup." 

"What tribeman!?" Sen yelled and grabbed Yuzuru. Yuzuru pointed at the tribesman who lifted his finger.

Sen stared at him and took out his scythe, cutting off his head. He stared at his head, panting. "I-I am sure I ripped them all apart....." He stared at another that was also in one piece. "I am sure I ripped them all apart; did I g-go crazy..."

"It's okay, Sen, maybe they can regenerate; we'll fight them again..." Philomena patted his shoulder. 

"T-they can't regenerate; that's not their species." Sen grabbed her closer, and they both looked around.

"They were all ripped apart until the wave came." Yao glanced at Nami, who was pouting.

"They are all moving..." Damian pulled Philomena away from Sen.

The corpses began flailing their arms and legs around in an awkward manner. Finally sitting down, their eyes blinked asymmetrically.

"Guys, the dead people are standing nowwwww." Yuzuru's eyes shone, forming a protective shield, like a fence, around them. "I am not sure if you guys have seen such things on TV, but—"

"ARE THEY ZOMBIES...!" Ren yelled.

"Yombies...living dead...?" Yuzuru looked at Ren.

"Yeah, living dead." Ren nodded.

The undead rushed in their direction, bumping into the transparent shield.
"Haha, they are dumb...."

The undead began piling on each other; some climbed on top of the pile and jumped into the shield.

"Not dumb!" Yuzuru shrieked.

Sen slashed the zombie that entered. "As far as I know, don't let the undead bite you if the movies were right back in our old world." Sen crushed the severed head with his scythe.

"So you are the famous warriors called Star Awesome..." A man in a black suit came into sight. He adjusted his tie.

"He's hot. Who are you?" Shar shouted.

"That's unimportant." The man smiled.

"Huh? I wanted to tell my name." A girl walked closer to him; she had snake-like creatures for hair.

"Sedusa!" Yuzuru yelled.

"No, Medusa!" Ren yelled.

"No, no, Patricka." She snorted and patted one of her snakes.

"They don't look so warrior-like?" A needle-felted human-sized doll hugged Patricka. One of her eyes was a blue button, while the other was stitched. 

"You said two were women, one is a puppet, and the other is Medu-er-Patricka!?" Ren glared at Cero.

"They are still women...even if they are Patricka and, um, a puppet..." Cero shrugged.

"She isn't a puppet; she is Twinkle!" Patrika yelled, hugging Twinkle.

"Who cares..." A crackling sound echoed as a lightning bolt struck in their direction. Something emerged from the sand covering the enemies. Smoke blew around; Damian tsked, preparing for another attack. 

The smoke finally settled, revealing an enormous reptile-like creature with many horns all over its body and eight legs. It was grey; when it opened its mouth, it was full of large canines. Patricka kissed the creature and looked at Damian.

"That is a Horte; they are animals, or to be exact, monsters," Nive observed the creature. "There must be more."

The sand rumbled around them as more Hortes emerged from the sand.

"Let's all split up." Philomena looked around.

"I will take on that stupid Patrika!" Damian shouted.

"I want the hot guy..." Shar sent a flying kiss his way.

"You take the puppet..." Nive nudged Philomena. "Those three must be something that they were sent."

"The rest of us will take care of the undead and the Hortes." Yoa looked at everyone; he sighed as soon as his gaze met Ren's. 

"What's that?" Riley pointed at a darkness in the sky that hovered next to the villains. They all tried to make out what it was. The darkness took the form of a girl. She glared at Cero.

"That c-can't b-beeee..." Cero trembled, hiding his face in his tail. "T-that is U-umano, m-my e-ex..."

"This won't be the first time we clean your mess." Yuzuru sighed, glaring at Cero. Cero snarled, whacking his tail onto Yuzuru's face.

"YOU ARE UP AGAINST YOUR EX!" Yuzru shouted.
