Chapter 5:
I Never Asked To Be Isekai'd!
“OOOOOIIIINNNNKKKKK!!!!!!!!!”
“I expected as much.”
Well there goes my perfect window to escape, so the next order of business is running! However, before I could make my desperate escape, I noticed the Slime I helped out before. It was happy to be saving, and started to bounce up and down with a smile on its face. I’m glad I could save you, now I need to save myself.
“You want me tough guy, well come and get me!”
“OINNKKK!!!”

The chase began again, and just like before I ran up a tree for shelter. The Orc just like before began trying to knock the tree down, I had find some way to prevent its attack. That’s when I felt something was off with my foot and remembered that one of my shoes was at the point of breaking. I pulled my shoe off and immediately threw it at the Orc.
“EAT THIS!”
“Oink?”
The shoe hit the Orc’s head with an amount of force that wasn’t impressive. The Orc stopped attacking the tree and picked up the shoe I threw. It then began to eat it, geez pigs really do eat anything. Wait a minute, that my ticket out of this I gotta feed it! I began taking out the apples that Ant-eater gave me and started throwing. The Orc caught each one and began to eat, after five minutes of throwing I was down to three apples and the Orc was still hungry. What should I do? As I asked that a new challenger joined the feeding frenzy.
*SPLAT*
Blue goo splattered onto the Orc’s face, I turned to the direction the goo came from. It came from the slime I helped, he followed me and climbed up the tree I was on while I didn’t notice. It began to pelt the Orc in the face with slime each shot causing it to grow smaller. Don’t tell me, if it uses up all of it’s slime does it die? I gotta think of something, otherwise-
*Plop*
“Owch! What was that!”
I picked up what fell on my head, it was some kind of pear shaped fruit. Don’t tell me, I was in a fruit tree this whole time! I turned around to the slime and gestured upwards, it gave a motion like a nod and began to snipe down some pears. I began to launch them at the hungry Orc, and he grabbed them to fill its belly.
This continued for a while, until…
“Ooooooiiinnnnkkk!”
The Orc tapped it’s belly in satisfaction and started to walk away happily. I took a moment to sigh and then I packed some of the pears that dropped. That’s when I remembered my little helper and turned to see my slime friend grinning at me, now the size of a baseball.
“I owe you my life little guy, sorry about before.”
“Poyo!”
So that’s what it sounds like, I started to ask it questions. In particular if it was a boy or girl, I told him to jump once for yes and twice for no. He jumped once for a boy and twice for a girl, so he’s a guy. I decided to give him some pears as a reward, after dissolving about three of them, he came back to full size. My next question was my lifeline, I hope he can answer this.
“Tell me, do you know where I can find humans just like me?”
“Poyo!”
He turned in a different direction and shot out a bit of slime, I looked that way and saw it. There was a castle in the distance and below seemed to be a town surrounded by a wall. I began to pet my adorable friend and after a while we parted ways. I finally know which way I’m heading, hopefully nothing else will go wr-
“OOF!”
I tripped on a vine and fell over, geez can’t I just have a normal day without something going wrong!
