Chapter 6:
Betrayed by my group, I walk alone in the shadows of the other world
I had to think of a way to use Slime’s Pleasure on Princess Margarida. I had an idea.
“Princess, please open your mouth quickly, if you do that I’ll go back with you immediately,” I said to her.
She didn’t understand why, but obeyed. As soon as she opened her mouth I used Slime’s Pleasure on her, Margarida’s body gave a quick shiver. Then I decided to test if it worked.
“Princess, I want to help this boy and defeat the minotaur, but do you really want to leave?” I asked her.
“No, I want to go with you, I want to go wherever you, my hero, go,” she replied.
I smiled because I realized I had controlled this bitch.
“Boy, lead us to where your sister is, and I hope you’re not lying. If you are, you’ll pay dearly,” I told the boy.
“I’m not lying! Come with me!” he replied.
We followed him and saw a minotaur knocking down trees in the forest. There was a wounded girl on the ground, and he was preparing to attack.
“Margarida!!!” I shouted desperately for Margarida to attack.
Princess Margarida then cast a huge fireball spell at the minotaur. The minotaur lost its arm and left eye. I opened Margarida’s bag that had some potions to recover HP and MP, I drank them.
“Thank you, Margarida, but now I’ll take over the fight. Also, boy, take your sister and return with Margarida to the field where we met you,” I told them.
“It’s an honor to be praised by the hero,” said Margarida.
“Hey sir, make sure you come back alive,” said the boy.
He picked up his older sister, then the three of them went back to the field. I was left alone with the minotaur. I couldn’t let Margarida defeat it, otherwise I wouldn’t get any experience points.
I then grabbed the two swords and went against the minotaur. He wielded a huge axe. I tried to attack, but his huge axe blocked all my blows. This was getting more complicated than I imagined.
Suddenly something flashed around me like lightning and cut off the other arm of the minotaur. The one who had done this damage was the girl I saved, but she collapsed to the ground paralyzed—it seemed to be a high-level technique.
“Attack him now,” said the girl.
Right, I couldn’t forget the minotaur was still alive. I then rushed at him and attacked. With the two swords I cut him down. The minotaur was defeated. I heard the sound of my level increasing and felt excited.

I gained 9 levels just from defeating that minotaur. I’ll also check the description of this ability.
Minotaur Power: an ability that doubles your strength and defense for five minutes.
Interesting, but it costs 30MP per use. The others cost 10MP.
“Hey, you’re a summoned hero, right?” said the girl.
“Yes, I am. My name is Hirokumi Araya. What’s your name?”
“My name is Sabrina Zairos. Nice to meet you, and thank you very much for your help,” said the girl.
I grabbed her by the waist and pulled her close to me. She blushed and stammered.
“What do you want from me?” asked Sabrina.
I smiled at her.
“Don’t tell me you want my body?” asked Sabrina.
“I’m the one asking the questions here. Do you happen to know who that woman with me is?” I asked her.
“Isn’t she your adventuring companion?” replied Sabrina.
I laughed.
“You could say that, but I’ll explain who she is and what I need from you,” I replied.
Then I took my hand off her waist and explained the situation—of course, I made up a lot.
“So you’re controlling the princess with a potion you ordered?” asked Sabrina.
“That’s right,” I replied.
“So you want me to make the princess act as a maid at my family’s house for today?” asked Sabrina.
“Yes, later this afternoon we’ll settle your debt with the noble,” I replied.
We returned to where Margarida and Sabrina’s brother were. Her brother’s name is Sairo. I told Margarida we were going to Sabrina’s family house. She accepted easily without complaining—the effect of Slime’s Pleasure really was good.
We returned to the kingdom of Argarill, entering through the gate where commoners go in and out. According to Margarida, there are two gates in Argarill, one only for commoners and another only for nobles.
Arriving at the commoner area, we went to the house where Sabrina and her brother Sairo lived. There, their mother and father were. Sabrina ran to her parents and hugged them—a very cliché scene. Sabrina’s parents looked at me and Margarida.
“Daughter, who are they?” asked Mrs. Zairos.
“They saved my life and Sairo’s,” said Sabrina.
“What are your names?” asked Mr. Zairos.
“My name is Hirokumi Araya, and my companion is Ayase Miyamoto. She and I are heroes summoned by the kingdom of Argarill,” I replied.
I had to lie about Margarida. If they found out the truth, it would be a huge problem. Back at the field, I had already agreed with Margarida, Sabrina, and Sairo that we would lie.
“We’re making lunch, so if you’d like, you can eat with us. I know it’s not the same as the palace, but it’s made with love,” said Mrs. Zairos.
“Miyamoto and I accept your offer, and you can just call me by my first name,” I replied.
Suddenly, Mr. Zairos fixed his gaze on me.
“Hey boy, want to go to the field to train with me and my son?” asked Mr. Zairos.
A training offer was very interesting. I also wanted to ask him for a fight to test my strength.
“I accept,” I replied.
“Hey dear, I’ll be right back,” said Mr. Zairos.
They kissed, and as we were preparing to go I noticed Margarida was about to come too. If I wanted to discipline her, I couldn’t let her leave.
“Miyamoto, please stay here and help them with lunch,” I said to her.
“But I don’t know how to cook,” said Margarida.
Of course you don’t know how to cook—you have people to serve you and never had to worry about that.
“Don’t worry, my mother and I will teach you,” said Sabrina.
Well done, Sabrina. With that you’re following the plan. Margarida then stayed. I went to the field with Mr. Zairos and Sairo. We killed slimes, and I leveled up again, now level 16. But honestly, I was sick of killing only slimes—they gave almost no experience points. I alone killed about 50 slimes.
“Hey man, how about a fight as training so I can test my strength?” I asked him.
“Interesting. So you want to test yours, but I promise I won’t go easy,” replied Mr. Zairos.
I rushed at him with the two swords. He stood in a stance as if ready to strike. I attacked, but when I noticed he had vanished. Suddenly I fell to the ground, my body trembling.
He must have used the same technique his daughter used against the minotaur. So probably he would collapse too. That was my chance to attack.
The effect of the blow had passed. I got up, but when I turned around, I only saw an elbow hitting my stomach.
It was Mr. Zairos’s elbow. It seems he had control over the ability that caused his daughter to faint when using it. Right after that, he punched me in the face, knocking me down hard. This guy was strong. What level could he be?
“You’re really strong,” I said to him.
“Thanks, but I felt you were hesitating to use your abilities,” he said to me.
The truth is I hadn’t used the slime abilities so no one would suspect anything.
“By the way, what was that technique? I saw Sabrina use it against the minotaur, but when she used it, she fainted,” I asked him.
“That technique is Lightning Flash. It’s a very powerful ability, but it consumes a lot of energy, so you need to train a lot and level up to master it,” he answered.
“By the way, if you don’t mind me asking, what’s your level and Sabrina’s?” I asked him.
“I’m level 53, and Sabrina is level 27,” he replied.
Wait, Sabrina is such a high level and still can’t control that ability? Then it must be really powerful.
“Now let’s go back to eat, because I’m starving. By the way, my name is Beltrond, and my wife’s name is Clarice,” he told me.
So Beltrond, Sairo, and I went back to the Zairos house. The food smelled great. Margarida came running and hugged me.
“I made a dessert just for you, please eat it after lunch,” said Margarida.
“Alright,” I replied.
I never expected to see Margarida cooking and making desserts—this was hilarious. Then we began eating.
“Miss Clarice, your food is delicious,” I told her.
“Thank you,” Clarice replied.
We kept eating.
“Mom, did you know the heroes are going to solve our problem with the noble Christopher? They’re so generous,” said Sabrina excitedly.
“But what problem do you have with that noble?” I asked Sabrina.
“He accuses us of stealing several fruits from his house,” Sabrina replied.
“Did you by any chance steal them so you’d have something to eat?” asked Margarida.
Everyone reacted angrily at Margarida’s question. It seemed even Slime’s Pleasure couldn’t change her arrogant side. But this time, she was right to ask, because we needed all the details to help with this issue.
Beltrond then slammed the table.
“Are you calling us thieves?!” asked Beltrond furiously.
I had to reverse the situation.
“That’s not what Miyamoto meant, she only asked because we need to know all the details,” I replied.
“I understand, but that bastard started accusing us after one of his apples appeared in our house,” he replied, calmer.
There must have been some mark on the apples, otherwise anyone could just place one in someone’s house to accuse them. But what didn’t make sense was why that apple was there.
“You can’t go to Christopher’s house to talk about this!!!” shouted Clarice.
Everyone was confused.
“Forgive my reaction, but that man is dirty and perverse, from what I’ve heard. If you try to challenge him, he’ll definitely destroy you,” said Clarice in anguish.
“My wife, I understand you, but they are the heroes who will help us,” Beltrond told Clarice.
“The Zairos family really doesn’t need to worry, because we’ll help. I’ll talk to the noble, and if I can’t, surely we’ll use our influence as heroes to convince the king and princess to help you,” I told them.
They seemed calmer after my words, but surely the way Clarice told the story wasn’t like someone who just heard it, but like someone who had witnessed something. Something very strange was going on here, but I already suspected what it might be.
