Hirokumi Araya, an otaku, is transported to a fantasy world after reading a mysterious novel. There, he is summoned as one of four heroes chosen to face the Demon King. However, his companions betray him, leaving him on the brink of death. Now, he seeks revenge against those who deceived him, while planning to defeat the Demon King on his own terms.
