Chapter 8:

Couple Saturday.

Yui

“It’s Saturday morning!” Aku said happily.

“Yes, it is, it’s not any different than Sunday morning, Monday morning or any other day’s morning. Yui said while eating his cereal.

“Come on! it’s the perfect day to do something together as a couple.”

“We are not a couple.”

“We absolutely had a moment yesterday.”

“One moment doesn’t make us a couple.”

“Are you sure? we held each other's hands and I wanted to dance” Aku made sure to say that loud enough so everyone outside the kitchen so everyone will hear.

Yui started blushing and heated the table, a few drops of milk fell on the table “every morning is going to be like that now? you will interrupt my breakfast?”

“If you will be a boring jerk I will” Aku laughed.

“What do you want to do today?” Yui surrendered.

Aku looked pleased and said “I thought about going to the mall”

“You have enough clothes” Yui said and sipped from his water glass.

“Come on, it will be fun. You like ties right? we can buy you some ties too” her head was really close to Yui’s head, she smelled like citrus.

“I don't want more ties” Yui lied.

Aku closed her eyes and moved, finger from left to right and sang “if a man says he doesn't want something that means he wants it a lot.”

“Fine you won, but at least let me finish my breakfast.” Yui tried to play tough although he was as happy as a little boy in a candy store.

“Yay! I won once more” Aku said in joy.

Yui finished his cereal and the two wore their clothes, they went to the bus station in the main street and waited for the bus that goes to the mall.

“Look! there are almost no people beside us so we can sit whenever we want!” Aku don’t like standing.

“I prefer standing than sitting near you” Yui kept his character of a tough guy.

Aku made her bitter face “what did I say about being a boring jerk?” she catched Yui’s body and made him sit near her, when she was done making him sit she just put down her hand on Yui’s thigh. He tried standing up but somehow her little hand was strong enough to make him stay in place.

“You are cute” she smiled with her brightest smile.

Yui accidently looked straight at Aku's face but he didn’t wanted to move his head away. This time the one blushing was Aku.

“You look at my face more than you do to anyone else, is something wrong?” Aku was actually scared.

“It’s nothing, it’s really nothing except how pretty you are.”

Aku blushed even harder “you called me pretty, it’s really not like you, tell me if something is wrong.”

Yui’s deep blue eyes shined brightly and his lips started to get closer to her.

“Last station!” screamed the bus driver.

Yui blushed and moved his view from Aku’s face as the two of them exited the bus.

“Let’s forget what happened in the bus” said Yui.

“It’s fine I will not tell anyone” promised Aku.

They entered the mall.

“Where should we start?” asked Yui.

“We can start with your ties if you want, I know a very nice accessories shop, they have nice ties there, come, I will show you” Aku started walking to the escalators.”

“Yes please” Yui followed Aku.

They went upstairs to the accessories store, on the inside the store was too bright for Yui’s eyes. Plastic colored to look like gold and silver, glitters, diamond like stones and everything in such a big amount. Jewelries, bags, phone cases, everything is so shiny, the closest thing Yui saw in a long time was the little golden like button on his bag.

“The ties section is over there” Aku pointed to a place with a lot of ties.

The ties looked very different then the ones Yui already had. Their colors and patterns screamed, one in strong pink with a teddy bear pattern, one light green with pink hearts so many colorful things!

“I want you to choose something colorful so you won’t look boring like for example this one…” Aku took a deep blue tie with white stars all over, she handed over the tie to Yui and said “here, try this one.”

Yui tied the tie on his neck and watched his reflection in the mirror.

“I think you look very handsome, it’s exactly your eye color. Do you like it?” asked Aku.

“I do like it but I will like it more if you will have a tie your eye color too.” Yui searched for a tie in Aku’s eye color. “I think I found one” he pulled out a beautiful azure-green tie.

“I don’t know how to put on a tie so you will have to help me with this.” Aku said to Yui hoping he will look at her face again.

His cold hands reached her warm neck and gently warped the tie around her neck. Yui looked at the tie and then looked for a second on her eyes, she liked that second, Yui tilted his head a little and said

“It’s not exactly your color”

“I don’t care, I like it” Aku looked much more formal than she expected.

They proceeded to the cash register and paid for the ties.

“I don’t have clothing that matches ties, how about we will go to buy some” Aku suggested.

“And the clothings will match your eyes?” Yui asked.

“They don't have to, right now I'm wearing a light pink overall, it doesn’t match my eyes right?” Aku pointed on the pink, short and open shoulders she wore.

“It does match the flower pins on your hair.” Yui said knowing he knows nothing about fashion.

“What a silly conversation.” Aku started laughing uncontrollably, Yui saw Aku laughing and felt like he needed to laugh too.

The two exited the store happy with their purchase.
