Chapter 5:
My First Girlfriend Is A Planet Buster Volume 1
Saturday had arrived. After school Yuta and Hachimitsu went to the park. Though for some reason Hachimitsu was being a lot more quiet than normal. “Hey, are you okay?” Yuta asked, she gave a soft smile and nodded.
“Yeah, I’m just thinking is all…”
“I see, don’t think too hard. Your brain will rot.”
“Okay, I’ll try not to.” As the two continued through the park Hachimitsu eventually found a nice spot on a hill under a tree and sat down and Yuta sat beside her. Yuta stretched his arms above his head as he then laid down,
“Man, thank god it's the weekend.”
“H-Hey….Yuta-Kun…?”
“What’s up?”
“Well...it’s been a month or so since we started going out…”
“Really?” He said looking at her, “Has it really been that long? I guess time sure does fly.”
“Y-Yeah…and I was wondering…” she rubbed her arm nervously, “Um...wh-why are you still going out with me…?”
“What do you mean?”
“W-Well...you could really have any girl you wanted….I just don’t know why you’re still going out with a girl like me…”
“Hm,” he then looked up to the sky, “I don’t know. I guess it’s because you’re pretty cool. You’re a lot nicer than most people I know, plus I have fun whenever we hang out. Do you want me to break up with you?”
“N-No...I don’t...it’s just-“ The sky went dark and suddenly lightning flashes followed by thunder and it began to rain lightly.
“What the hell?!?!!!” Yuta screamed standing up, “It was a rather nice day and God just up and decided to take a piss on us!!!!!!” Hachimitsu frowned and stood up,
“Let’s go to my apartment, it’s not too far from here…”
“Alright!” The two went through the rain before they then came to Hachimitsu’s apartment. They walked inside and Hachimitsu flicked the light on. She sighed before she started to walk off,
“I’ll go get some towels and blankets…”
“O-Okay.” He said watching her walk off. Something was definitely bothering her and he didn’t know what. He scratched the back of his head as he looked around her apartment. It was a rather nice place, it had a couch next to a window and in front of the couch was a TV. Ahead of him were two rooms, the one on the left was likely the bathroom and the one on the right was likely her bedroom. He looked to his left to see a countertop and a kitchen with a fridge, oven, and microwave. She had a fairly standard apartment without much decoration.
She came back to him and handed him a towel, “Here…”
“Thanks,” he said as he took the towel and started to dry off his hair. She nodded as she walked away and came back a few moments later with a few blankets. She handed him a blanket before she walked over to the couch and sat down, Yuta then walked over and sat beside her. When he sat beside her they were almost the same height...keyword almost. “So...what were you thinking so hard about?”
“O-Oh...it’s nothing…”
“It’s not nothing, something’s wrong.”
“N-Nothing’s wrong, I promise…”
“Okay…” He sighed and looked away from her for a second. He didn’t know exactly what to say right now. He never thought he’d ever go this far with any girl. He looked over to see her wrapped in her blanket looking down at the floor. He took a breath and moved a little closer to her. He inhaled softly and looked over at her, he swallowed and looked away as she looked at him before she looked away herself. Yuta then looked over at her, “So...do you want to watch some TV?”
“Sure…” she took the remote from the arm of the couch and turned on the TV. She flipped through the channels until she found some anime before she put the remote down. He sighed and leaned back. He glanced down at her lap to see her hand, he took a deep breath before he reached over and placed his hand on hers. “Y-Yuta-Kun…” She then looked over to him, “What are you-“ before she could finish he quickly turned and pressed his lips against hers. Hachimitsu blushed as her eyes widened, her eyes slowly began to soften before she shut them and decided to kiss him back.
As the two pulled away Hachimitsu swallowed lightly, “Um...I think you should meet my dad…”
“HUH?!?!!!!!”
