[Anime Review] - Clevatess

People who read the Line Manga/Webtoon knew how hype this anime is, and I'm so glad we got a season two.
It's a really rare sight to see a long-strip format manga become an anime. Many long-strip stories are usually done by the Koreans, and their medium is called Manhwa. I like those, but to see this long-strip manga get adapted was so exciting.

How did I find this?
I was already hype from the start. I have read it on Line Manga, then seeing this was on Anione Asia anime line-up in this season made me more hype.

Appealing (Why did I get into the anime?)
We have very few dark fantasy stories that are not just fantasy. I know we have dark fantasy like Overlord and Re:Zero, but those are "isekai". This! This one is not isekai. We need more of this!

But tbh, I just love Alicia so much, man. She was the core reason why I read the Line Manga in the first place. I felt like I wanted her to be my waifu, replacing Shana from Shakugan no Shana. No joke.

The review;
Plot/Story
[TL; DR] The destiny of the hero is a fraud, tells about the demon is twisted, and one of the demons, Clevatess, wants to uncover all of them and destroy the prophecy by taking care of a human baby, who is of royal blood, while also learning about the human.
I know I kind of spoiled that a little bit, but come on, if I told you just the start of the story, people wouldn't like it, because of how they treat Clevatess.
The overall plot of this series is still being discovered in the manga, but that's the basic understanding of the story that I have so far.

Character
Absolutely fantastic.
The layers of all characters in this series are stacked. I couldn't even talk about it just here; I would need ten pages just to explain how the character and the worldbuilding in this anime are so fascinating.
I love how the author portrayed their story. I always adore it.

OST/SFX
UWOOOOOOO MAYU AND THE MAMI COLLAB? AND IS THAT ELLIE GOULDING???? WHAT IS GOING ON?
How does this anime have so many different top singers in the industry? They are cooking hard!
Apart from that, even the OST in the anime itself is also cooking. I love it so much.

Animation
I have a nitpick! Again.
The flashback scene! I'm glad I'm not the only one who has complained about it; it seems like Cawcaw also has the same issue with me, lol. How the frick do you use a very fragrant color and a detailed scene, but then put a 244p look on top of it? My eyes can't handle that. If you want to do that, then do it properly with black and white! The manga didn't do it like that, by the way, if anyone is asking. I think the anime just wants to make it unique and use that technique, which I think is a stupid decision. Lol

Other than that nitpick, I love the '90s-style animation here. I'm so satisfied because the manga looks just like '90s-style comics, too!

The bad
I just wish this were more popular. I get it! Donghua is popular right now. To Be Hero X and Lord of the Mysteries are currently airing, and they take up most of the people on the internet right now. And finally, no! I refuse to hop on the hype train. I don't want those to consume my life.
