The End of the Storm

With Kimi's Common Folk armed with identical swords and armor to hers - save for having the enchantments on both like she did - they looked into ferocious fantasy medieval combat within the walls of the fortress and armory - rapid and successive flashes of light emerging on both sides, with no clear winner in sight. All the while, Kimi used her shied improvised as a snowboard to dash around the moderately sloped ice that one of her Sorcerers and Slayers cards had created - delivering scissors kicks and expert enchanted sword slashes that took out at least two enemies each time, but even going up to as many as four at a time! 

"I won't let you win! You've demonstrated that you're evil - and evil has no place ruling over anything or anyone! So face me!"

Kimi yelled out to Riku - though she was momentarily unsure of where such confidence came from - since it was so uncharacteristic for her, save for having at least a moment of preparation to steel herself and her nerves. Though she quickly realized once again that the core and essence of the power that Kana had imbued her with - the power of love - ran through her now! And so, with glowing white and sakura pink eyes - she gazed at Riku as she glided and boarded towards him with dedicated intent!

"Foolish girl! Do you really think that you can stop the Sorcerer King who has become one with the darkness itself!?"

Riku bellowed - his voice noticeably and unnaturally deeper, though it was grimly fitting since he now had the facial features of an Oni, along with a dark aura all around him. 

"Yeah! Like this!"

Kimi yelled back as she launched the shield that she easily using as a snowboard at him, while simultaneously landing a dropkick on him - with both combat moves hitting him simultaneously as he momentarily stumbled back!

"You won't get so lucky again! I'll destroy you, your Common Folk, your fortress and armory - I'll destroy it all and rule as the scion of darkness and the tyrant of terror that I am!"

Riku bellowed as he quickly recovered, before throwing a mass of dark energy into the air and hurling it at her with an unnaturally swift wheel kick!

"I won't let you!"

Kimi responded quickly as she jumped and made a downward slash with her enchanted sword - the white and pink aura shining within the blade decimating the darkness energy midair. Kimi then recovered her stance, hurling light energy at Riku!

"Missed me! Do you think that this is a summer festival game!?"

Riku cackled in his evil, deep voice as he dodged her attack. Kimi looked at her hand for a moment, even now sill getting used to the fact that the magical essence of Kana's powers were now in her! Kimi recovered quickly though as she launched into an attack at Riku - jumping and slashing downwards as Riku then put his darkness aura-complimented arms with armored gauntlets up, blocking her attack successfully. All around them, the desperate battle still raged!

"Give up! You'll never win!"

Riku bellowed as Kimi looked around - realizing that she had to both fight him and his forces to break through stalemate! He may not have cared about the people who were transported to this other world and made to be Common Folk under him - but Kimi cared about those under her! And so, thinking on her feet - she leaped over Riku - delivering a two-edged swift rear kick to his back as she got back on the shield that she'd used as an improvised melee weapon against him - and used it as a snowboard once more!

"Two for one special!"

Kimi said as he delivered a swift scissor kick to two of the darkly enchanted Common Folk under Riku, before slashing to more nearly simultaneously as four flashes of light then appeared in their respective places! Kimi could feel the essence of Kana's power within her now - giving her a sense of confidence, calm, and even passionate humor in the face of the onslaught!

"That's what I call a mogul!"

Kimi quipped as she jumped with her improvised shield snowboard and slammed the front end into another one of the Assault Trolls at such a speed that the Assault Troll turned into a flash of light!

"And that's what I call Black Diamond!"

Kimi said as she launched through that flash of light into a second Assault Troll - resulting in it becoming a second flash of light! With a confident nod and seeing that the tide was turning in the battle in her and her Common Folks'  favor - she turned her attention back to Riku, deciding to take a different approach this time!

"You think snowboarding wisecracks and other quips will bring you anything but fleeting and false satisfaction!?"

Riku growled at Kimi with annoyance as she hurled volley after volley of dark energy, increasing their speed by hitting them with wheel kicks, roundhouse kicks, and tornado kicks - but Kimi dodged every single one of them on her improvised snowboard - slashing at the dark energy in parrying and slicing motions when she needed to as well!

"No - but I dod think that too much time in the darkness has given you the worst traits of every NEET that I've ever met!"

Kimi said with her newfound confidence - then feeling a surging within her - like she was suddenly energized to an entirely different level than she was before, a rich that she couldn't and wouldn't ignore!

"And now - it's GAME OVER!"

Kimi said as this feeling of being imbued with a dramatic energy boost was revealed - her and the magical essence that Kana had imbued into her with a Sorcerers and Slayers card manifested in the form of the shield that she was using as a snowboard glowing pink and white, with the same kind of oil shine just like her sword! Noticing this - Kimi surged forward on it - launching the now enchanted board at Riku, then going into a midair backflip kick that transitioned into a powerful upward slash, that was then topped off by a white and pink aura filled dropkick to Riku'd chest!

"NOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Riku said as she turned into a bursting flash of light - along with all of his forces! 

Kimi - had won the battle - and the War of the Realm!
