Chapter 44:
Rockstar Isekai: fighting against Silence
The day of the meeting at the royal palace arrived. The group had prepared for the event and bought elegant dresses to wear.
Natsuo fought Tristan to make him pull back his hair on the right side and make him show his face and succeeded. Also, Gregory was disappointed because the clothes covered his tattoo.
Those two were already inside the carriage, while Natsuo was waiting outside for Olive. She was inside the garage, getting ready.
After some time, the shutter was raised and Olive got out. She glanced at Natsuo and blushed a little.
“How do I look?” she asked.
Natsuo was staring at her, speechless. She was wearing a long green dress that rested gently on her body, enhancing her elegant figure. It suited her so much, she had never been so beautiful as that day.
“You look stunning” he replied.
Olive’s cheeks reddened violently and she lowered her head to not show him.
“Thank you…” she mumbled.
“Of what?” Natsuo approached her and raised her chin with a hand. “Don’t cover your face, it’s the best part.”
Olive’s heart skipped a beat. What did he have in mind?
Natsuo chuckled and let go of her face. “You’re red like a tomato.”
“You just wanted to tease me. Stop it!” Olive complained.
Natsuo smirked, amused.
“It’s better if we go, otherwise we’ll be late.”
Olive nodded. Natsuo turned to his back to get in the carriage.
“Natsuo” she called him.
He glanced back. Olive clasped her hands before her chest.
“You’re pretty too, today” she said.
Natsuo raised an eyebrow.
“Only today?” he asked ironically.
Olive shook her head, laughing. Why was he always so unserious?
She reached him and followed him inside.
When they arrived at the royal castle, the coachman drove the carriage along a cobbled path that led to the main entrance.
At the sides of the path, a crowd of people was gathered and a lot of them were holding banners with Rockstar Isekai’s name or specific members’ names.
When the carriage got into their sight, they all cheered.
“It’s them! They’re arrived!” they exclaimed.
People started cheering and waving their hands at the carriage.
Natsuo glanced at the crowd from a small window. It was huge enough to cover the entire path and his heart was flattered by that sight.
All of those people were waiting there for their arrival just to greet them. They were all their fans. Just at the thought of it, he felt moved. He waved back and smiled at the people that could see him through the window, enjoying the moment.
Even if his previous band was a bit successful, he had never seen so many fans gathered together. Was this how it felt to be a celebrity?
The other three were flabbergasted to see such a big crowd and they felt grateful for every single one of those people who were waiting for them.
The carriage reached the main entrance and crossed it. In the courtyard, there was a large group of people with a huge banner that said: “Welcome to the Royal Palace, Rockstar Isekai”.
Olive brought a hand to her mouth, moved.
“These people are all so kind!” she exclaimed.
Gregory nodded. “I didn’t expect someone to welcome us so warmly.”
“They’re too much, I will surely disappoint them…” said Tristan, anxious.
“Don’t worry, they like you the way you are. That’s the beautiful thing about fans” replied Natsuo.
Tristan nodded, still a bit insecure.
The coachman stopped in front of the crowd and opened the door for the group.
The first to get out was Gregory. When the people saw him, everyone started cheering.
“Thank you, thank you!” he replied, waving his hands.
He unbuttoned his shirt and showed his tattoo to the crowd. His fans started screaming crazily and waving the banners with his name.
Natsuo sighed. It was impossible to see Gregory covered for more than a few minutes.
Olive was the next to get out. Everyone cheered for her, even if the boys seemed to be more loud for her. A boy on the first row lifted a banner that asked her to marry him.
Olive burst out laughing and smiled at him, a bit embarrassed.
Tristan got out of the carriage trembling. Anxiety was consuming him. He felt all the gazes on him and he lowered his eyes.
As soon as they saw him with his new hairstyle and his face free, all the girls blushed hard. He was very beautiful. They started screaming as loud as they could.
“Tristan, I love you!”
“Tristan, you’re my prince!”
“Be my husband, please!”
“You’re beautiful!”
“You saved my life!”
Hearing all those praises, Tristan turned to the group of people, surprised.
They’re not… judging me.
His face relaxed a bit. Those people were really there to support him. He couldn’t believe that somebody who would like him existed.
He smiled softly at them.
“Thank you for saying such precious words” he said, a bit moved.
The girls on the first row almost fainted.
“My man! He’s so gentle!” they giggled.
Lastly, Natsuo got out of the carriage. The cheers for him were extremely loud and the fans started chanting his name.
Natsuo motioned for them to make it louder and the crowd started screaming.
He smirked and waved his hand, satisfied.
A girl with blonde hair tied in two low ponytails on the first row screamed his name to get his attention.
“Natsuo, I love you more than myself! Can you be my boyfriend?” she asked.
Natsuo ran a hand through his hair and winked at her.
“Of course” he replied.
The blonde girl freaked out and the others joined her.
Olive glared at Natsuo, a bit annoyed. She didn’t like when he acted like this.
“Okay, guys, it’s time!” The blonde girl exclaimed.
She took out the speaker of Rockstar Isekai’s album and the song Somebody who saves me started playing.
“We wanted to dedicate this song to you, Rockstar Isekai. We love you!” the blonde girl said.
Everyone started singing the song together, under the group’s surprised eyes.
