The Golden Wall — Hero Kemp’s First Stand Against the Demon King

The sky glowed with a dangerous mix of black and gold.

Black—coming from the Demon King.
Gold—coming from Hero Kemp.

The two powerful forces collided again and again, sending shockwaves across the broken city. Buildings shook. Roads cracked open. Flames spread. The world looked like it was tearing apart.

But in the middle of this destruction…

the heroes were standing tall.

Because they had hope again.

Because Hero Kemp was fighting.

Half of the Demon King’s gigantic body was now outside the portal. His legs, his waist, and part of his torso had emerged, covered in black flames. Each movement he made sent huge waves of dark energy across the battlefield.

The Demon King slammed his hand forward.

Demon King:
“HERO KEMP…
YOU CANNOT STOP MY DESCENT!”

A massive black energy fist launched from his hand, ten times bigger than a truck, heading straight for the heroes.

Sumit:
“EVERYONE, MOVE!”

Ayon:
“IT’S TOO FAST!”

Jirsong:
“We’re gonna die—!”

But before the attack could hit them—

BOOOOM!!!

A golden shield appeared in front of the heroes.

Hero Kemp stood between them and the attack, holding the glowing barrier with one hand.

His voice was calm.

Kemp:
“I will not let you harm them.”

The black energy crashed into the golden shield like a falling mountain. The ground cracked beneath Kemp’s feet. His armor glowed brighter. The pressure was immense.

But he didn’t move.

He didn’t fall.

He didn’t break.

Sumit stared in shock.

“He blocked it… on his own!”

Ayon smirked, amazed.

“That guy is insane…”

Serdihun 1 covered her mouth, tears in her eyes.

Now that the Demon King was halfway out of the portal, his army grew stronger. Bigger demons with horns, wings, and twisted armor poured out. Each one looked powerful enough to destroy a building.

The rest of you protect the civilians!”

The battlefield exploded with movement.

Ayon rushed forward, his body covered in lightning.

He punched a demon so hard that its body burst into sparks.

Another demon charged at him, but he kicked it away with a spinning lightning kick.

“I won’t lose today!”

Sumit stepped forward with flames covering his arms.

He punched the ground, sending a fiery shockwave that knocked down six demons at once.

A giant demon roared and swung an axe at him.

Sumit grabbed the axe with his bare hands, flames melting the metal instantly.

“I’m not afraid!”

Jirsong’s body radiated electricity as he dashed around the battlefield.

Jirsong:
“Thunder Dash!”

He moved so fast that demons couldn’t even see him. Only electric streaks were visible in the air.

He appeared behind a demon and tapped its back.

A massive lightning explosion blew it to pieces.

Jirsong laughed.

Jirsong:
“I’m warmed up now!”

Serdihun 1 created healing barriers.

Serdihun 1:
“Barrier of Light!”

Injured civilians recovered quickly.

Serdihun 2 cast support spells.

Serdihun 2:
“Speed Boost! Strength Blessing!”

The heroes suddenly moved faster and hit harder.

Serdihun 2 smiled.

Serdihun 2:
“We can do this!”

Alir climbed a rooftop.

She took a deep breath and aimed.

Her arrows glowed with magic.

Each arrow shot through three demons, clearing entire paths for civilians to escape.

Ajmal floated beside Kemp, holding his glowing staff.

Kemp stepped forward.

“Then we stop him now.”

He raised his spear.

Half of his head was forced back into the portal.

“He actually pushed him back!”

“No way…”

Sumit:
“He did it…”

Serdihun sisters cried with relief.

The heroes cheered.

But Kemp…

slowly fell back to the ground, landing on one knee.

His breath was heavy.

His armor flickered.

Inside, Buddhist was trembling.

It drained… almost everything…

But he smiled.

The Demon King forced his head back out.
