Chapter 7: — Tracked [INTERLUDE]

I kick opened the door to the garage and Rizzy instantly flinched, turning around to face me.

"B-Boss—"

"Track him down..." I said, voice calm but determined.

"A-Aren't you supposed to be at school?" He asked, his robotic voice shaky.

"Don't worry about it," I said, dragging a chair next to Rizzy, and taking a seat. "Open your HUD. I wanna see how the sonuvabitch looks like."

"Who?"

That question wanted me to punch that damn robot in the face with my bare hands and pull out it's batteries out violently, because how stupid could it be? It should already know who I'm talking about!

"Who do you think?" I muttered, slowly turning my head toward Rizzy.

"Uhm..." It just stood there thinking, until. "O-oh! Is it Kimura Yui, your classmate? Sure, I have some pic—"

"NO, NOT HER!" I'm talking about Arai's cousin... you know? Arai Akimitsu?"

Rizzy continued to stare at me with clueless eyes. "Arai?"

That's when I realized something.

"Rizz... how many percentage are you on?" I asked, annoyance visible on my face.

Rizzy opened his HUD and checked his status. "Yes boss. Here's an entire rundown of my status."

"NO! I DIDN'T MEAN YOUR ENTIRE—"

"Here's the list of my stats."

Battery Percentage: 9%
Durability: 6%
Armor Rating: 0.6%
Speed: 57%
Strength: 31%
Agility: 9%
Processing (AI): Average 18% and 1/5 stars.

"As you can see here, I'm pretty low on battery which is affecting my overall stats and—"

"ENOUGH!!!" I yelled at the top of my lungs, clearly not wanting to listen to a robots yap right now. "Listen... go charge up, I'll be back in a few hours I guess..."

"Affirmative!"

Rizzy then floated toward his charging station and he did his thing by inserting all sorts of wires.

"You're just an idiot sometimes, I swear to god.” I muttered, but luckily not loud enough for Rizzy to hear.

A few hours later, I was cleaning one of my weapons, whistling a favorite melody until Rizzy from behind called me.

"Boss?"

I turned around, "Cool. You all charged up now?"

"Affirmative. Do you want a rundown of my stats."

Panic washed all over me. Of course I didn't want to hear him yapping about stats again. I quickly yelled—

"NO! T-that's... that's fine..."

"Yes boss."

"Just call me Naomi. I've told you this so many times now."

He didn't answer.
I rolled my eyes, but I laid my weapon on the counter and walked toward Rizzy.

"Rizz. I want you to show me how Arai Akimitsu's cousin looks like. I want information."

Rizzy perked up and instantly brought up his HUD, finding any information he could. I swear it was like he just got an upgrade just from charging.

"Take a seat." He said, calm and focused.

I listened to him, dragged the chair from earlier and took a seat.

Finally Rizzy brought up a full ass picture of the dude, and even information.

"This is the guy who's after you. His name is Minoru Akimitsu."

"Minoru? huh..."

"Yes. He's looking for you, and he wants revenge for what you did to Arai."

I chuckled and smirked. This couldn't have been more perfect.
"Well. What's he doing right now?"

"I don't know, but for all I know is that he wants you dead Naomi."

"Yeah yeah, fuck that. I just need info. Does he know my brother? Itsuki?"

"Uhm... wait, give me a minute."

Rizzy began typing on his HUD, scrolling up and down, left and right, finding any info.

"He's one of Sato Yamaguchi's guys." He said, his voice calm

"YES! JACKPOT!" I yelled out, making Rizzy flinch, "HAHAHA! THAT'S MY LEAD RIZZY!"

"Yes... I guess it is."

"Good. So now we know that. Where's he at? Any locations?"

Rizzy opened a map, and began visualizing and scanning something. It looked something too complicated for me. I was more of a shooter, not some hacker.

"Lucky for you, he's online right now. Yūrei Exchange."

"Yūrei Exchange?" I muttered, confusing filling my eyes. "Wait wait. Isn't it the black market building where they sell illegal shit?"

"Yup. He's running that place."

I sighed, standing up from my chair and walking back to the counter. I then continued to clean the weapon for a bit before hanging it up in my collection.
I finally spoke up, looking at Rizzy, leaning against the counter.

"Rizzy. Today, 9:00PM. We infiltrate the Yūrei Exchange building, and we put an end to Minoru or whatever his name is."

"Affirmative!" He answered.

"Good."
