Chapter 31:

Catch the train.

Yui

“Next station: MaMaMall/ train station” the bus driver said loudly.

“It’s our station” Aku said quickly and walked outside the bus, the others followed her.

“The entrance is there right?” Minato pointed at an open gate.

“Yes it is” Aku said quickly “we need to catch the train, run” she started running very fast, Minato held Kimori and Eda and followed her. Nakata followed her too.

“Those legs are amazing” Nakata looked very amazed from the way he run “I’m as fast as an athlete but I’m not getting tired!”

“This is a story for another time” Minato said angrily, he needed to run as fast as Aku and Nakata while holding Eda and Kimori “right now we only need to catch the train!”

“Stop! we need to buy tickets!” Aku said loudly, she stopped just before she collided with the ticket stand.

“Hello, welcome to trains express, may I tell you the next trains?” the woman that stood there smiled and talked way too slow.

“No time!” Aku said quickly, she was very nervous and it showed “give me five tickets to the train to Himura neighborhood.”

The ticket seller slowly put five tickets on the stand “it will be 20,000 yen for all of you.”

The money was on the table but Aku is long gone, she doesn’t want to miss the train.

The four other boys ran quickly past the ticket stand.

“You need to buy tickets in order to enter the train” she said loudly so they will hear although they are going further and further away.

“We are with the girl that was here a second ago” Eda screamed back.

“And I thought she took five tickets to herself” the ticket seller said quietly to herself.

“The train to Himura neighborhood is leaving the station in five minutes” a robotic female voice erupted from the big speakers hanging on the walls.

“This way!” Aku pointed at a bunch of stairs.

She ran quickly down the stairs and Nakata and Minato followed her.

Here it is, they finally came to the train platform, a little more and they will catch the train.

“Run! run! run!” Aku encouraged the others to run faster.

After a few seconds of hard effort they finally did it, they sat their foot in the loaded train, it’s time to rest a little before they arrive at Yui, if he returned to his parents house something happened with him for sure.

“Is there even a place on the floor to bring us down?” Kimori asked.

On the train too many people sat or stood, there was no way to fit someone else in there.

“I can lift you the whole ride” Minato said, he hid how hard it was for him to run with two boys in his hands.

“It’s not healthy to lift us for so long” Eda said, he looked around “but I guess there is no choice for us.”

“I can lift them too!” Nakata wanted to check if he can lift something heavy with his new body.

“Thank you Nakata but I can handle this” Minato looked very unstable, it looked like he was about to fall any moment.

“I think you should give us to Nakata until people get out of here and we can stand on our own” said Kimori “Nakata’s body endurance has to be much better than yours considering the fact it’s made out of wood.”

“I surrender” Minato panted strongly “take them.”

Nakata took the two boys and lifted them up in the air so they won't collide with anyone.

Minato signed in relief, his body felt so light all of the sudden.

“Will you stay with us?” Yui’s mother asked Yui while he helped her to cut a salad.

“I think I will” Yui cutted a cucumber very unstraightly.

“So you will cut the connection with your friends?” his mother cutted a tomato very quickly.

“Of course not” Yui smiled fakely “I just want to spend less time with them.”

“What happened all of the sudden?” Yui’s mother was still surprised of the fact Yui returned.

“I don’t know myself” Yui looked down “something happened, I saw myself so happy with a bunch of good friends, I felt like I could trust them.”

“It’s a good thing no?” Yui’s mother looked at Yui “it’s what you always wanted no?”

“I understand friendship is a bad thing, it may make you feel safe for a second but in the long run no one actually actually likes you.” Yui stuck the knife he held in a cucumber.

“They don’t always hate you” Yui’s mother tried to comfort him “my best friend liked me so much and had three kids with me.”

“Do you say I need to marry Nakata?” Yui rolled his eyes.

Yui’s mother hugged him strongly “I want you to stay here but I still want you to see your friends very often.”

“You don’t understand” Yui pushed his mother back “everyone are perfect, if I want to catch up to them and actually feel like I’m not useless for them, I need to evolve myself, I don’t want perfect people in my way of being perfect too.”

“Let me tell you a little secret” she whispered in his ear “you will never be perfect, I will never be perfect, no one will ever be perfect.”

“You haven't met Aku yet” Yui didn’t know how he felt about her at that moment.

“Even that Aku you talk about is not perfect, it doesn’t matter how good at things she is” Yui’s mother tried to comfort him really hard.

Yui sighed and went away “this conversation doesn’t go anywhere, I’m going to sleep.”
