Chapter 2:

"If" I have any questions...

I became a god!?

When I looked behind me, I saw a massive figure on one of the big thrones. He was the one whose voice I heard. He looked like an old man and he seemed to be almost twenty meters tall. I didn't hear him but after a short while he repeated what he had said. "I am the god of order and light, my name is Solomon. And who might you be?" His voice echoed throughout the giant hall. "Are you a god and where am I?" I asked Solomon which in response he once again asked who I was.
After a while of just looking around me and seeing all these giant humanoid figures on the thrones, I looked back at Solomon and responded "I am Yuki Kuratami. Where am I?"

Some of the other gods around me started to whisper and point at me. When suddenly a woman with long red hair started to speak behind me. "So, Yuki, what are you?" She had a sharp sounding voice, but she mostly sounded a bit bored. "I am a human." I responded a bit surprised at the question. What else would I be? An elf? After I said that the woman looked at Solomon. "So, did you summon him here?" All the other gods turned towards Solomon.
I started to think that Solomon was some type of leader of the gods, like Odin or Zues.
"No, I did not." Solomon scratched his head and looked me up and down. "Yuki" He paused for a second and sighed. "This is new, but you are now a god." All the other gods started to loudly talk to one another and the red-headed woman looked at me then back at Solomon. Who was sitting there and scratching his head.

Suddenly a god stood up. "Everybody be quiet!" A boy that looked a bit younger than me (except the fact that he was like fourteen meters tall) started to walk down the steps of his throne. For every step he took he seemed to shrink until he was as short as a normal fifteen-year-old. "Hello, nice to meet you, I am Genjo." The boy induced himself and bowed slightly. I bowed back and then he turned towards the old man. "Solomon, what is his powers and what is his title?". Solomon once again looked me up and down. He suddenly stood up and spoke.
"You are The Endless Darkness, Yuki, the god of the darkness and eternity. " When he had finished speaking, most of the other gods turned to smoke and disappeared. The only ones left were the gods and goddesses who had sat upon the big thrones.
The woman with red hair approached me a firmly shook my hand and introduced herself as Louisa. She then proceeded to leave by turning in to smoke. Genjo also shook my hand and then turned into smoke.

The where four left, excluding the old man. Another goddess stepped forward, she had long blue hair. She also took my hand and shook it. "I am the goddess of water, my name is Erena." She had a thin voice. She turned away but instead of turning to smoke she became mist and slowly dispersed. One of the gods stepped towards me. Suddenly the surrounding air started to feel heavy. For every step he took closer it got harder to breath. "I'm Kishi." I couldn't see his face, but I knew it was him speaking as the voice sounded sick. Then I fainted.

When I fainted, I dreamed. In my dream, I saw a girl around my age. She was wearing medieval clothes. She was walking in a forest at the foot of a steep mountain. The girl found a dark purple ruby, it had the shape of a snowflake. When she picked up the sugilite she seemed to first plan to bring it home. But she noticed that in the wall in the mountain was a hole the same size and shape. She put it in and the wall started to crumble.

Then I woke up. I was laying in a small bed. I barely remembered the dream, but I still felt a massive way of relief when the wall had started to crumble. Not only that, but I felt more free. "You awake?" a muscular man wearing a leather apron sat in a chair in the corner of the room. "I am the god of smiting, Cham. And this is Azar, the god of fire." He pointed to him self then towards another person who was leaning towards the wall next to the door.
The room I was in was empty and quite small. It had the bed I was on and the chair that Cham was sitting on. It also had a desk next to the chair. But that was it. Azar made eye contact and left. "He isn't super... talkative..." Thanks... I noticed. "By the way, if you have any questions. Go and meet Solomon in the grand hall." Cham stood up and left me all alone. If I have any questions... No, of course not. I was in a buss crash and now I am the god of darkness, that makes a ton of sense.

I started to think about what had happened. So after the buss crash I woke up in that room. Did I die? Or did something or someone save me? As I was thinking, I slowly started to realize that if I died and got reborn or if I got saved... What about the rest of my class. Quickly after think about what happened and the rest of my class, I fell asleep.

There was a sharp smell, the smell reminded me of a cave or an old castle. Basically, it smelt like old and wet stone. When I opened my eyes I saw two people chained on a wall in front of me. It was a girl with long, flowing purple hair flowing down to just past her shoulders. She looked up and I made eye contact. She had deep purple eyes and she was also wearing a black coat with purple details. Next to her there was a boy hanging. They both seemed to be around their twenties. The boy had short, dark cyan hair. His eyes were a light cyan color. He was wearing a similar coat like the girl but with dark blue details. I tried to move towards them, but I was also chained.

When I later woke up. I saw Solomon sitting on the chair that Cham had sat. "Good evening, I as you now am Solomon. I also go by the title The Old Man." Fitting I thought. "When you didn't come for me to ask questions, I decided to search for you. Because I too have some questions for you." Solomon looked out a small window that I hadn't noticed before. Outside the sky seemed red as if there was a sunset outside. "Can I start?" Solomon turned his head towards me. I nodded. I spent the rest of the evening answering questions about where I am from and how our world came to be. Well into the night, he asked his final question. "Have you had any dreams?" I was surprised by the questions, as the rest had been about my world. "Yes…" He nodded and sat quiet for a while. "Our dreams as gods either have some meaning about what will happen or are direct depictions of what will happen." He then said good night and left.

I was once again left alone with my thoughts. I sat and wondered about my dreams. Did they have a hidden meaning, or were they what would happen?

The next morning I woke up with a change of clothes next to my bed. They were similar to the ones the people who also had been imprisoned with me, had worn. But half was the boy's dark blue details and the other side had the girl's purple details. I started to fear that, that dream had been a view into the future. I also realized that this night I hadn't dreamt anything.
