Chapter 34:

Isara's Hidden Weapon

Blades of the Shattered Chaplets: 4th Novel

Isara had tried to make her way back to the fight, but her fairies held her back. However, even as she tried to venture forward, the immense pressure from the mana would not allow her body to move forward.

She wondered if this was an actual barrier that would not let her move forward or if she was so terrified by this clashing of mana that her mind forced her back.

A figure appeared behind her, spooking her and the fairies. “Saikou,” she whispered. “Where the hell have you been?! Where is Welpen? Tell me the good news, Saikou.”

Like always, he did not speak, but he shook his head and pointed in one direction. She didn’t understand though. “What? I don’t know what you want.”

He grabbed her arm and pulled her, but she stopped and questioned him again. She was stubborn at the moment with all that had happened, but her fairies quickly revealed to her that she should listen to the young boy in the astronaut suit.

He jumped up with excitement, taking Isara with him to an unknown place to her, but she would see what would emerge when they arrived.

However, Astro appeared quickly by their side.

Astro: “Stupid girl. What are you doing here?”

Liz: “You should thank her! We left her location on for you.”

Astro: “Stupid fairies. This is a mess. I’m gonna need a few drinks once this is all over. Listen up you bunch of fake, powerless, tiny, impudent bastards. Right now, there are some pretty strong fools fighting each other. We don’t stand a chance. I got knocked away and then I heard a voice from Kazuki to come to Isara. I assume he knew that the boy was here. So, what’s the plan then? There obviously is something.”

Saikou jumped up and down as if he nailed it on the head. He grabbed both of their arms and tried to drag them. “Easy kid. Where are we heading? I can teleport us all there. I have a little extra mana at the moment if you know what I mean.”

He pointed again in one direction and Astro knew exactly what it was.

“The Infinite Library,” he said. “Now why would we go there? We’ve all already been there. We don’t have any more wishes.”

He pointed vigorously as if he had a plan. Astro believed that Kazuki knew what he was doing and teleported them all at once to the entrance.

Astro: “By the way Isara, nice sword. The last time I saw you, it was a lot different.”

Isara: “Oh. Thank you.”

Astro: “So kid? We gotta do this whole process again. What a pain in the ass.”

However, as Astro said this, Saikou pressed both his hands on the bridge of the first island and the board flipped over, revealing a red button that he pressed and they instantly teleported to the Great Sovereign.

The gigantic blue head was familiar to them, scaring Isara especially, but Astro did not care and spit aside on the ground.

Saikou walked forward and hugged the head, whom was supposedly unbiased in this world, but looked at Saikou as if he were its child.

“Saikou Mistefen, son of Alcion Kazuki, the Creator of Light. My Creator. What have you come to ask me for?”

Saikou did not talk again, but telepathically spoke to The Great Sovereign as it said, “As you wish. Then I shall wish you luck on your endeavors. I shall grant that to you and Kazuki, however, remember that even though he is my creator, my rules abstain even myself from helping him. I will perish from this wish as that is his will and how he created me. By the laws of the Worlds of Protrations, I represent fairness and equality. Goodluck Saikou Mistefen. A wish of this magnitude goes against this world’s order. I wish you luck in your fight, however my knowledge goes beyond anyone. I know what the result will be however I will not say as that was not a part of your wish. What a future I see.”

Saikou ran and hugged the gigantic head as if they were friends. As he stepped away, the inside began to go haywire. Crumbling down like rocks, the space start to disperse before The Great Sovereign pulled itself backwards into what looked like an infinite glass wall.

On its face, Saikou and Isara could see it begin to crack and break down before the floor beneath them broke and they fell through to the depths of the water. Unlike last time for Isara though, they teleported midair to the Temple of Time, a place where neither of them had been.

When they arrived, 3 beings were standing in the middle of a large open building with iron columns and pillars. One of them Isara recognized. “Rugs,” she whispered, not loud enough for anyone to hear.

Her fairies lay dormant for now, not knowing what was going on, but knew that this was part of Saikou’s plan.

The other monster next to Rugz was someone they did not know, but introduced himself as Ijuro, Master Blacksmith of the Tombs of Bramblebind, and finally in the middle stood a woman with long black hair, red eyes, and pointy ears.

Isara for some reason knew who this was, but this was the first time ever witnessing her in person. She had been told a story of a monster that looked exactly like her that disappeared long ago. “The Leader of the Elves,” she called out.

???: “Oh? The little girl knows of me?”

Rugz: “Knock it off, Rapscalia. We cannot even defy these orders right now.”

Rapscalia: “Hmph, who said I wanted to? I want to see this happen too. All these years and barely anyone has found me. Oh how I wish to see this happen. These shared memories with the Great Sovereign are so…invigorating.”

Ijuro: “So? Who was the one that made that wish?”

Saikou raised his hand, which angered them all as a heavy aura came raining down, however their skillsets differed. Rugz was not much of a fighter, but the other two were, especially Rapscalia.

Isara spoke up and explained the situation the best she could, but didn’t know what the plan in mind was.

Although, she didn’t have to say anything as they all knew what the plan was from the memories.

Rapscalia: “Listen little girl. Run back to your mommy before things start to get dangerous. Oh, and you know Michiaki Sen, right?”

Isara: “Oh! Yes! He is a Great Swordsmen and–”

Rapscalia: “Tell him when I see him next I won’t grant him mercy this time. I’ll murder him and his entire family if he calls upon my elves again. BE GONE!”

She transported her away into the battlefield amongst Michiaki, Aamon, Titan, and the others that fought alongside. However, Rapscalia must’ve sensed her power because she teleported her right in front of Titan who stabbed her in the chest as if she knew what would happen if she died.

Bleeding out, she reached her arm out to Michiaki and panted for breath at the unexpected event.

Aamon: “NO! Time’s Revers–!”

Liz: “DON’T DO IT! Let her die! It’s earlier than we expected, but let it happen!”

Sarz: “Trust us!”

Ine: “Morlin–”

Liz: “I see her too, Ine, but right now we have to focus on Isara…Morlin! You’re going to explain to us later what happened in the past, but as of right now, Isara is more important to us than anything.”

Sarz: “Liz, we have to do it now or it will go away!”

The three of the small fairies held hands and spun in a circle until all you could see was afterimages. They fell down into the heart of Isara where a beam of light rained down from the sky with red, green, and blue coloring as well as a connecting light all the way to the Temple of Time.

Isara’s body floated midair as nobody knew what was going on. The light got bigger and bigger until it enveloped the area and nobody could be seen.

Then…

A blank white space came into existence as Michiaki Sen recognized it right away.

Michiaki: “The World of White? This girl? She is the ruler of this world? How come I never noticed? Was her soul hidden inside her own? No, that’s impossible. This must be an entirely different person that was hidden away. My power stems from her? Who is it?”

Rapscalia entered from out of nowhere as everyone stared at her. Titan was becoming annoyed at this point, but as a God, he knew that he could destroy everyone here, or so that’s what he believed.

Rapscalia: “So…What do we think of this, Isara? Your fairies probably did not know either, but I sensed it immediately. Would you like to know why? Well, just look at your appearance.”

She stood up confused, but looking at herself, she looked almost identical to Rapscalia. “Wh-What am I?”

Her fairies had merged with her and could no longer speak or think at the moment, so Isara was on her own.

Rapscalia spoke.

Rapscalia: “Allow me to introduce you all to this beautiful young girl. This is my daughter, Isara Alcion, heir to the Alcion clan.”

Everyone looked baffled and confused. Michiaki even questioned his own intelligence of the world, but they didn’t have time to think as Titan approached Isara slowly.

Aamon: “Time’s Theory!”

Titan stopped and held his hand out, and completely paused the space around them. It was an unbelievable feature that made everyone wonder why he hadn’t done it before. People could still see and think, but nobody could move, even Titan himself, but he could talk.

Titan: “Isara Alcion? I don’t recall you being a part of our clan.”

Looking at Rapscalia he said, “You wretched whore. Breeding with a man outside of the Alcion Clan? You dare to defy God himself?”

He released the ability and went to pierce Isara before Aamon’s ability stopped his sword and he dropkicked him across the ground.

Titan: “You’re an abomination. Something that should’ve never happened. I’m done playing around. All this time I have been in my slumber, enjoying my time, but now, I will make this entire world perish…Infinite Cornacopia!”

A goat’s horn symbol appeared in the sky that lit ablaze in a red and black flame and began to descend slowly onto the world.

Michiaki: “MORLIN! Fuse with me. NOW!”

Their souls collided and he formed an arrow so large to target the sky, but it barely did any damage to the massive symbol that came raining down.

Michiaki: “AAMON!”

Aamon: “Right! Eclipse of Time! Saint’s Theory of Aparthagen! True Order!”

White layers started to form in the sky underneath the symbol and time slowed for everything around them except for the people. He was able to extend the time that the symbol lowered, but not completely stop it.

Aamon: “Michiaki, we need Kazuki. I admit that I am the strongest of this world, but that is impossible to stop.”

Kaibo: “Oh really?”

He pierced Charles who was standing behind them this entire time, figuring out what to do, and didn’t even sense him.

Michikai: “Kaibo! What are you doing?!”

Kaibo: “Oh, I didn’t know I had to pick a side to fight on, Michiaki Sen. Well, I guess I’ll pick that man’s side. Hahahahah!”

Charles thrusted the sword all the way through his chest and elbowed Kaibo in the face before Kaibo became angered and pulled the sword back out to cut off his neck.

Michiaki clashed swords with him while Charles somehow regenerated through sheer willpower, proving that the mind is truly a powerful tool, just as useful as a Chaplet.

Rapscalia had left the World of White long ago, leaving Isara to deal with it.

Michiaki: “Aamon! Get Kazuki over here! I will deal with this stupid man! If that symbol touches the ground, then our world and this world will be destroyed! Find a way to stop that!”

Aamon: “Who do you think you’re talking to? I’m the strongest in this world. Titan Alcion, come. Let’s have some fun.”

Charles: “Don’t forget about me you fools. I won’t let you. I wasn’t revived for no reason. Aamon Krozolo, allow me to fight alongside you with my pride at stake. If I cannot keep up, then you may put me back in the grave.”

Aamon: “Ha! Alright, show me your worth, Charles Foster.”

Titan: “Enough of this nonsense…Reversal Domain.”

Aamon charged at Titan with a powered up sword full of mana and threw a barrage of Chaplets at him knowing that they wouldn’t work, but as a cover for Charles to reveal something that he had been hiding this entire time…

His true sword.

The Pixel.

A glowing white sword that was known for slashing realms that Arata Sanji tried to control in his previous fight, but couldn’t grasp the true power of it.

This sword solely belonged to Charles Foster in a covenant that nobody else could form. He slashed down at Titan with an immense strike, tearing apart his left side of his body.

Titan laughed as Aamon continued his strikes towards him while bending time on his side.

It was no easy fight even for Aamon Krozolo, The Ravaging Void. God defied his ability with time and shaped it in his favor, but Charles aided in this.

Isara sat back still confused at who and what she was, but slowly started to hear voices that guided her in what to do. The whole space around her was controlled by her. The World of White was her domain right now.

She slowly reached out her hand and white blobs began to peel off of the sides of the walls and shoot towards everyone, forcing even her allies to move out of the way.

She tried again, this time moving the wall forward completely at a rapid pace that was unavoidable. Anyone who touched it would perish, but Michiaki recognized this and immediately sent out barriers made from the white substance with his own partial control of the world, protecting his allies.

Kaibo and Titan took it head on, both somehow managing to take little damage through the protection of their mana.

Titan: “Immortal Rejection!”

Everyone’s powers became dormant. Aamon’s abilities shut off along with Charles. The Pixel sword was the only thing that stayed lit for a moment while he sent a slash at the wall so that they could escape if needed.

However, something eerie came through that hole. Something that was unexpected.
