Chapter 35:
Blades of the Shattered Chaplets: 4th Novel
Charles: “Damn, what did I just unleash? That must’ve cracked whatever seal was left on that.”
Titan looked over and smiled a devious grin.
A black and red monster that crawled on all fours with a mouth so big and a tongue so large that it could envelope an entire building. Next to him was a man with 4 muscular arms, encased in tattoos, wearing a blue and black robe, however his body was half black and half white with no eyes, mouth, ears, or nose.
Titan laughed while he chanted their names. “The Leech, Ruler of the Jungle Realm. Veymaru, Ruler of the Unforeseen Realm. Oh man, it’s been longer than when I last saw Ezra for you both. How’s your dark realms? I assume my renovations helped.”
In a scraggily voice, The Leech responded.
Leech: “Titan Alcion, I’ve crawled from the gates of the abyss to take revenge on you. Take me lightly and I won’t enjoy the fun in this.”
Veymaru didn’t say a word, but his power created a screeching sound that affected everyone in the area, including Titan.
However, the symbol still began to fall from the sky.
Leech: “Ah, the same power you used on me. Where is Ezra? She will be sure to help us.”
Titan: “Oh you see…I killed her.”
Leech: “Lies. Always lies with you. Well, regardless of where she is, we will take you on with these swordsmen…Leaves Victory: Culling Slaughter.”
Thorny leaves began to grow directly from Titan’s skin as if a tree had been planted inside of him.
He held out his hand and stopped them, but could not keep them from slowly growing even as a God.
‘It seems that everyone is sort of on the same level,” Aamon thought. “Although, Titan sure has the upper hand. Arata, when are you going to do it?”
Veymaru raised his hands and the more he went the higher the pitched noise got, affecting not only everyone physically, but with their mana.
Aamon triggered his moon to reactivate his mana, but for Charles, he had to exit the World of White at the moment due to Titan’s ability. Michiaki and Kaibo continued to battle a vigorous fight without touching the walls, but Isara suddenly began to understand the true grasp of the World of White.
Titan: “Power of the Morse C–”
Isara: “NO!”
Her words alone immediately shut down his powers and everyone else's. Michiaki understood this and used what he had left with Morlin to get Aamon and Charles out of there as he sealed off the hole in the World, leaving Isara with 3 Rulers and a former 1st Reverend.
Aamon: “Michiaki! What are you doing?! You left an innocent child in there alone!”
Michiaki: “Aamon, you do not understand. That child is stronger than both of us combined right now. There is no doubt in my mind that she will win. Plus, did you not put the connection together you stupid fool. Have you grown that weak?”
Aamon: “Yeah, I did you idiot. I know. That man, even though he was weaker back then for some reason unless he was always holding back, is the man that we fought in the Titan War and robbed me of my mind.”
Charles: “I’m going back in. My job isn’t finished. I have no reason to live except to protect that girl and defeat that man. I’m going! My will can bend to anything. You said that I cannot touch these walls or I perish, right? Watch me defy that law!”
Michiaki couldn’t believe his eyes, but Charles walked right into the World of White as if nothing was wrong. People continued to prove him wrong.
Aamon and him headed towards Kazuki’s location quickly to finally end this fight.
Inside, Titan consumed Token, The Priests, and Hachiro Jiro’s mana in rage, quickly eating their souls and killing some strong foes. Hachiro’s sword fell to the ground as Isara picked it up, knowing exactly what it was like she had knowledge of everything.
“The Selezzar,” she said. “An ancient sword so powerful that nobody has ever been able to fully grasp its strength because it does not form covenants. Interesting. Well, I don’t need it. After all, my sword is right here.”
She pulled out a replica of Alcion, crafted by the three master blacksmiths as Saikou’s plan began to work.
Titan stared down at it in concern, knowing that it was strong enough to defeat everyone here, but his pride did not waiver and he looked down on her like she was a bug waiting to be squashed.
Titan: “Little girl. Let me teach you something. Just because you have a strong sword does not mean that you have the power of a God.”
Leech: “Don’t forget about me, Titan!”
The Leech crawled forward, spitting out large webs laced with orange glowing mana lines that no regular person could get out of. The webs shook at the sound of Veymaru’s high pitched noise, causing them to tighten and condense on Titan.
He reached out one finger and completely dismantled the webs. “What?!” The Leech responded. “Impossible!”
Titan then pointed a finger at Veymaru and destroyed both of his hands with no effort at all.
He made them look like fools despite that they were Realm Rulers as Isara dashed at him with Alcion in her hand, sending him backwards just inches away from the wall as he stopped himself and laughed.
Isara continued to fight, slashing at him in a barrage that even he could not evade. She had him on the ropes until all of a sudden, her body paused and she couldn’t move.
Titan: “Ah, so it finally kicked in. You’re a stubborn one. That even worked on Ezra at full strength in less than 30 seconds. You see, am I a bad person? Sure. But you see Isara, I was meant to rule over the world with an iron fist. I am meant to destroy everyone in order to unify everyone! I am a God! I am the one you seek when you are at a crossroad! I am the one that gives you hope when you have no hope left! I am a Go–!”
Arata: “Not anymore you aren’t.”
Arata Sanji had been hiding all along using a Sphere Chaplet as an earring on the side of Titan’s ear. He awaited the best moment to disperse the Chaplet and use all his strength to pierce God.
Nobody could’ve known that Arata completely masked his presence, and not even Titan realized that he was wearing a small blue earring on his right ear.
Arata pierced God with his sword and his unusual mana spirals, giving everything he had when he saw that Titan was still alive and still moving.
Even with all his strength, it was basically useless. This plan that they had drawn up did not work whatsoever and Titan punched Arata right through his stomach, causing blood to spew down his body.
Alcion flew across and sliced at Titan, then took Arata’s body and exited the World of White’s barrier as Isara looked onwards at Titan, completely entranced as if being controlled. Her eyes were lifeless and she held up her hand without chanting anything, firing out thick mana lines in all different colors as wide as tree branches.
The World of White flickered as it followed Isara’s commands without her even recognizing this.
Infinite amounts of mana shrouded at Titan as he flicked them away like it was nothing, yet if the World of White did not surround them at the moment, the world as they know it would’ve been destroyed by the sheer power that these two were battling with.
Isara walked forward slowly while continuing to fire waves of mana.
Titan tried to activate an ability, but the World of White would not allow him to, however he did not struggle in his advance either as he walked forward face to face with her.
She spoke in a more mature voice saying, “You may be a God in the Realms of that World, but this is my World. You are no God here.”
Alcion flung back into her hands as she swung down at his shoulderblades, but before she did, her body went numb and paralyzed from using too much of her power. Her new body couldn’t adjust that quickly and Titan swung down at her, slicing off her right arm, then stabbing her in the stomach.
Titan: “Little one. Join my army and I will spare you.”
She tried to speak, but instead built up mana in her mouth and bit down on his ear as he screamed out loud in anger.
Gaps began to appear in the World of White, but small enough that no human could enter.
However…
A small black substance crawled its way through the holes into the World of White. A familiar substance that seemed to not ever go away, but this time, much stronger.
