Silent Support

The Silent Officer heard the sound and felt the shaking moments before the creatures emerged. She immediately ran out of the way as they erupted like a volcano from the cave's entrance and ceiling. Just as this began to happen, she received a call from her walkie talkie. The Chief insisted they all needed one just to be safe.

“It’s - It’s - Me - e - It’s - Me! - Get out of there - there - there! Get - Get - LEFT! REMEMBER LE-”

The Silent Officer nodded to no one in particular as the transmission cut out, and turned to escape the rapidly burning forest. Though not before purposefully dropping a strange device she had been told to bring with her. It was designed to help with cave navigation, and a paired device could be used to lead to it if set up properly.
