Nana - No Will To Lose

 West beach, Yuna and Makadu watched as the zeppelin appeared in the morning sky. Several missiles shot out from the zeppelin. “Sound Mafu : Utin’s Protection!” Makadu yelled out. The missiles blew up in midair. “Fire Majutsu : Jiichi’s Wrath.” Yuna said, shooting an arrow of flames, tearing through the zeppelin. The zeppelin started falling from the sky. “That was easier than I thought.” the Moshikuchi said. “It’s far from over.” Yuna said. “Pechin be ready for a fight.” Makadu said.

East beach, Hiroko and Yusuke watched as the zeppelin drew near. “Lightning Majutsu : Raijin’s Bolt!” Yusuke yelled, throwing a large lightning bolt at the zeppelin. The largest attack Yusuke has ever made, shooting through the zeppelin. “Spatial Control : Izanagi’s Path.” a voice said. As everyone of the Rooh Hunters appeared on the beach, among them was Riku. “Riku go after the queen. I’ll stay here, and take care of them.” the man, Menjo demanded. “Wind Majutsu : Fujin’s Knock.” Riku said, creating giant arrows in the sky slamming into the Rooh Hunters, destroying most of their forces. Menjo turned to face Fujin. “I take it you didn’t mean that.” Menjo said. “Oh I did.” Riku said.

Yuna, and Makadu waited for their enemies' next move. A woman landed on the ground behind Yuna and Makadu, the woman, Sato. “What a powerful attack.” Sato said, standing up. Yuna and Makadu looked back at Sato. “Star Majutsu : Mikaboshi Light.” Sato said. Before anyone could see anything Yuna was hit by a fireball, hot enough to instantly turn her Ryusou to ash. Makadu went to do a Majutsu, but Sato appeared behind her, wielding an obsidian Katana. A large wound appeared on Makadu’s chest. Makadu sighed, and pulled out her sai, before looking at Sato. Yuna got up, and charged at Sato, creating a blade of water, as Yuna swung the water evaporated. “Really?” Sato asked, looking at Yuna, before getting hit in the face by Makadu’s sai. Sato swung at Makadu who parried with her sai, and hit Sato in the chest with her other sai. Yuna created a blade of flames, and swung it at Sato. It hit, but didn’t cut through. Sato grabbed Yuna, and pushed her in front of her, letting Yuna take Makadu’s next attack. Sato kicked Yuna onto Makadu, throwing them both on the ground. “Mikaboshi Collapse.” Sato said, creating a white star, and throwing it at the girls. “Protect the Aji.” the Moshikuchi said, leading the small group of Pechin towards Sato. Sato turned to them, and instantly cut them down.

She turned back to find the girls not dead. In fact Makadu was standing over Yuna, protecting her. “How the-” Sato started. “Shut up, and fight!” Makadu yelled charging at Sato. Makadu attacked first, Sato parried, and cut into Makadu again. Sato noticed that Makadu bled RTK. “Is that, what are you?” Sato asked. Makadu sighed and ran away, towards the castle. Sato looked to Yuna, and assumed she was dead, before chasing after Makadu.

Sato caught up easily, and swung. Makadu avoided the attack by jumping onto a wall, and continued to run away. Sato followed. Sato shot out several stars at Makadu, who avoided the attacks. Makadu made it to the castle, and hid. Sato entered the castle, and looked around. “Annoying.” Sato said, sensing Makadu’s presence above her, and shooting a star at her. “Utin’s Direction.” Makadu said, avoiding the attack, and landing on the ground. Makadu’s Majutsu stunned Sato. Makadu charged at Sato, and hit her gut with the sai, then used the Yoku, to cut Sato’s cheek. Makadu’s sai, were specially made, the Yoku were sharp, meant for cutting. Sato gripped tightly on her katana, and swung it at Makadu. Makadu ducked the attack, and thrusted the sai at Makadu. Sato parried, and cut through Makadu’s body again. Makadu jumped away. Sato shot a star at Makadu, who used her Sound Mafu to block the attack. Sato rushed through the destroyed attack, and swung her Katana at Makadu, who parried, and counterattacked. Sato dodged, and shot another star at Makadu, hitting Makadu away. Sato went to attack Makadu, but Makadu’s spell stunned her. Makadu got up, and ran away again.

Makadu ran to the throne room. Queen Umitama looked at Makadu, and reached out to her. Before anything could happen, a Katana pierced Makadu’s heart, rushing out RTK, splattering on Queen Umitama’s hand. Sato stood behind Makadu, wielding her Katana, as it pierced Makadu. “My Darling.” Queen Umitma said quietly. Queen Umitama stood up, and walked to Makadu, hugging her. “Darling. My baby girl.” Queen Umitama said, holding Makadu close. Sato watched, as the mother held her child. “I’m sorry, but-.” Sato tried, rationalizing. “Don’t be. This is how it works in life.” Queen Umitama said, her voice changing from frail, and harsh to calm and soothing. Makadu’s body fell to the ground. Sato watched as Queen Umitama’s body pulled itself together, getting rid of any wrinkles, as well as her hair turning to black, and eyes glowed yellow. “But even so, you just killed my daughter.” Queen Umitama said.

Sato swung at Queen Umitama, but Umitama was too fast. Umitama appeared behind Sato, whose arm was cut off, and several cuts appeared in Sato’s body. Sato’s body healed instantly, and she turned to Umitama, seeing her wielding a sword. A golden one handed Katana. Sato lunged at Umitama, who slightly turned. Several slashes cut through Sato. Sato healed and swung at Umitama, who parried, and cut off Sato’s arm. Umitama followed up trying to finish Sato, but Garrote wire wrapped around Umitama’s stopping the attack. “Sorry for being late. The view on this island is amazing.” Masato said. “A bit busy bud.” Sato said. Umitama slightly removed her Katana from the wire, letting her cut through it with ease.

Umitama looked at Masato. Within an instant several slashes cut through Masato, and the wall behind him, turning them both to dust. “Masato?” Sato asked, quietly. “Does that pain you two see?” Umitama asked. “It sucks seeing someone you care for die. But sometimes orders are orders, even if you don’t like it.” Sato said. Umitama looked at Sato, a flash of something from centuries ago, a man surrounded by lightning. “I’m sorry, but orders are orders. You aren’t an exception from that.” the man said, his blue eyes staring at Umitama. “My love?” Young Umitama questioned the man. A sigh left Umitama, as she looked at Sato.
