Chapter 29:
【Vodcast】 Error Love
Six months later
Kyroxfun’s profile no longer existed. It had been deactivated, and buried beneath newer names. The internet still remembered him but the discussions never lasted long due to lack of engagement. Another streamer filled the scandals he left behind, and the cycle continued.
Jitsuko moved through the terminal, surrounded by the low hum of rolling suitcases and overlapping voices. There was no way to tell between arrivals and departures. She sat down on an empty row of chairs.
Someone sat beside her.
“Hey.”
She turned.
Akira smiled at her. He looked thinner. Paler. His eyes no longer glistening, they stayed lowered, distant. One hand rested on the strap of his bag, fingers brushing it as if to confirm it was still there.
“Did you go to the psychologist?” he asked quietly.
“I’m going now,” she replied. She glanced at the departure board. “Your flight’s in an hour. Did you pack everything?”
He nodded.
A pause settled between them.
“I just wanted to see you,” Jitsuko said, standing. “I should go.”
“Jitsuko.” He didn’t look at her. “I’m sorry. For everything.” His gaze dropped to the polished floor, his reflection faint and distorted. “You don’t have to wait for me.”
She studied him for a moment. “It’s okay.”
“I’ll only hurt you more,” he said, standing and taking her hand. His grip was careful, unsure. “Find someone kind. Someone better.”
She squeezed his hand firmly. “You don’t get to decide that.”
Then she let go.
Jitsuko turned toward the exit and disappeared into the moving crowd, swallowed by strangers, the luggage and the motion.
Akira remained where he was, the seat beside him empty.
When his flight was finally called, he stood, shouldered his bag, and walked in the opposite direction.

Hello, dear readers,
I am so glad you were able to reach the end of this distorted story. I know, I know, the ending is kind of rushed, but, ehmm, the deadline came. I hope you were able to understand and enjoy the toxicity in the story.
I mostly covered everything except Akira's backstory within the narrative. Though it is shown here and there. I will slightly evaluate the character psychology here since I think it helps understanding them.
Akira
He is a character who was involved with someone who he considered family. This gives him distortion. He was made to believe that he had to earn love. He is a person who sees love as transactional. He is also the sort of person who can do anything to feel complete and loved.
But since Jistuko isn't rewarding in the usual ways, he is infatuated with her, or, to be accurate, he is attracted to her normalcy and kindness.
Jitsuko
She is the one girl with a stable and loving family. A complete contrast to Akira. She is the sort of person who maintains distance and allots boundaries not out of coldness but out of a sense of self-respect. Her kindness is out of humanity, not because she is unconditionally kind, which Akira assumed at the start.
Aunt Fuyuko
She doesn't hate Akira; she loves him. She doesn't want to harm him. Think of her as a twisted parent who is awfully controlling. But of course she isn't in a normal parent role; that has made Akira as twisted as he is.
What I wanted the story to portray was that Akira was raised in an abnormal situation, but that doesn't excuse him for who he is now. He is self-aware but cannot control his impulses.
In the end, thank you for reading the story.
