Chapter 29:

Chapter 29: Do You Know How Long I Licked This Cone?

I’m Too OP, So I Decided to Troll My Loli Master Instead of Saving the World

"..."

"..."

An eerie silence descended upon the street.

The Headless Knight stopped his rampage. He stood up straight, turning his detached head to stare at this abnormal human youth.

He scanned him up and down. He analyzed the energy fluctuations. But all the feedback told him the same thing... This is just an ordinary, powerless human.

Can't you see I'm in the middle of a massacre? You're sitting there cutting strawberries? That is incredibly disrespectful to my profession!

(艹皿艹)

Thud. Thud.

He stomped over to Lynn. His massive shadow swallowed the young mage. He looked down (from his chest level) and spoke with a hint of confusion.

"Can you not see me?"

Lynn focused on slicing a strawberry. "I see you."

"Aren't you scared?" The Knight asked.

Lynn popped a strawberry into his mouth. His dead-fish eyes didn't even blink. "Scared. Super scared. Terrified."

"Then why don't you run?!" The Knight yelled.

Lynn pointed his fruit knife at the cone. "Can't you see I'm cutting fruit? If you have nothing else to do, piss off. I'm waiting for my Master to come back."

The Headless Knight was stunned. You puny human! How dare you be this arrogant in front of me?! Do you have a death wish?!

"By the way," Lynn looked up at him with those lifeless eyes.

"Just a suggestion. If you want to destroy the city, fine. But can you stop shouting those Chunibyo (Edgy Teenager) slogans?" "Didn't you see my goosebumps? Can you please respect other people's feelings? It's cringe."

"..."

"..."

Silence. You could hear a pin drop.

"You... You dare give me suggestions?" The Headless Knight was flabbergasted.

Does he not understand the situation? I am a Demon! A terrifying, murdering Demon Lord!

Ah. I get it. He's mentally ill. Brain damage. Advanced stage.

"Heh." A cruel, twisted smile ripped across the face held in his hand.

"Interesting."

Just as Lynn was about to place the final, perfect strawberry slice onto his ice cream... The Headless Knight raised his massive armored boot.

SPLAT.

He stomped on the fruit stall. The stall shattered. And crucially... the remaining strawberries were crushed into red paste.

"MUAHAHAHA!" The Knight laughed mockingly.

"I don't know what game you're playing, but you're amusing. You're the first human to stay this calm in front of me."

Lynn: "..."

The Knight spread his arms wide, reveling in his cruelty. He didn't notice Lynn slowly raising his head. He didn't notice the look on Lynn's face.

"What? Upset?" The Knight grinned, raising his massive blood-sword. "Doesn't matter. To die by my blade is the honor of a lifetime! Die!!"

WHOOSH. The terrifying giant blade was raised high. It slashed down with the force of a collapsing mountain.

CLANG————

A deafening sound of metal impacting... something harder than metal.

The image of the human being split in half did not occur. Instead...

The Knight watched in horror. His blade hit the human's head. And the blade chipped.

If one looked from the side, they would see a bizarre scene: The massive war blade had a deep, head-shaped notch in the middle. The young man's head was wedged into that notch, completely unharmed. Shards of the blade fell to the ground like rain. Tinkle... tinkle...

"HOLY SHIT!!" The Knight screamed. This blade is forged from Abyssal Adamantite! Are you kidding me?! Is this a glitch?!

He thought he was hallucinating.

Lynn, with dead-fish eyes, slowly raised his hand. Under the Knight's shocked gaze, Lynn positioned his finger against the blade stuck on his head.

He prepared a Finger Flick.

Flick.

CRACK.

SHATTER.

The massive war blade instantly developed countless spiderweb cracks. Then, with a loud crash, it shattered into a million pieces like fragile glass.

Headless Knight: (ΩДΩ) "WTF????"

Lynn took a deep breath. He slowly rolled up his sleeve.

"Do you know how long I licked this ice cream cone?"

"I didn't even bear to eat it when I went to the brothel..."

"AND YOU DARE TO SMASH IT?!!"

Lynn was furious. Pure, unadulterated rage.

He clenched his fist. [Serious Series: Normal Uppercut]

BOOM————

A sound equivalent to a tactical nuke explosion echoed through the city.

The Headless Knight's back instantly bulged outward. His eyes (on the detached head) popped out of their sockets. His armor shattered into dust.

"MOMMY!!!"

A scream of absolute agony pierced the heavens. The massive demon was launched into the stratosphere.

[ Meanwhile: Deep Underground ]

Vivian gritted her teeth. She inserted the ancient, rusty key into the lock and turned it.

Click. Magical circuits lit up on the massive stone gate. Vivian pushed the heavy doors open with all her might.

A massive, dusty chamber was revealed. In the center of the room sat a figure.

It was hunched over, covered in centuries of dust. It had long white hair and clutched a rusty longsword. It looked like a withered old man.

"Is it... a descendant of the Master?..."

A voice, old and raspy like grinding gears, echoed in the darkness.

Vivian trembled. She knelt instantly. "Y-Yes! I am Vivian Lin Violet, the 251st generation great-granddaughter of the Violet Monarch! I... I greet you, Grandpa Sword Puppet..."

Her father had told her the family's greatest secret before he died. This entity was the greatest creation of their ancestor, the Violet Monarch. A powerful magic puppet with self-awareness. Throughout history, whenever the Violet Family faced extinction, this entity would awaken to save them.

Without him, the Violet Family would have perished long ago.

The hunched figure slowly stood up. Dust cascaded off his shoulders.

"I understand," he rasped.

"I sense the aura of Demons. The times have changed indeed..." "If the Master were still alive... even a Demon Lord would not dare step foot on the land he once walked..."

He slowly turned his head, revealing his face. Vivian gasped in horror and awe.

Half of his face had collapsed, revealing intricate gears, clockwork, and magical circuits whirring inside. Under his tattered sleeves, his hands were made of inscribed metal.

The Sword Puppet. (Jian Kui). A machine that had lived for thousands of years.

"Grandpa Puppet... your body..." Vivian whispered, trembling.

The Puppet’s mechanical eyes flickered. "My energy is critically low. My body suffered severe wear and tear during the last awakening. Many parts have aged..."

He gripped his rusty sword.

"But... I can still fight one last battle."
